1. Remove the contents from the box and check for missing pieces or damage. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the original place of
purchase.
2. Use caution on this step, as the box can become unstable and ip over. Slide the drawers in the box fully out. On each slider is a triangle piece
that needs to be pushed up and the drawer pulled out simultaneously, which is shown in Diagram 2. Fully remove the drawer by continuing
to slide it out fully, once it is free of the sliders set it to the side. It is recommended to check the position of the drawer divider at this time, and
readjust if for the users needs.
3. On 2014 and older models, remove the two rearward (closest to the rear hatch) oor mounted hooks, and save the bolts. For 2015 and newer
models, remove the rear sill plate trim and raise up the oor covering to locate the 2 threaded holes in the oor and cut 2 small slits in the oor
covering to access them.
4. Carefully place the box onto the rear oor of vehicle, trying to center the box in the rear.
5. Lift and support the drawer side of the box approximately 6”, for access of mounting the rear brackets. For 2014 and older models, 50007-45
(Driver) & 50007-46 (Passenger) will be used, or the 50007-9 brackets for 2015 and newer applications. Place the large hole of the bracket over
the threaded mounting hole. Place the bolts through the brackets and thread into the factory holes in the oor, do not fully tighten at this
time. In some instances it may be required to remove a swatch of the underlayment padding around the holes for the brackets to set properly.
6. Remove (2) of the seat bolts located near the front of the box. Place brackets 50007-7 over the holes and place the factory bolt through
the brackets and snug, shown in Diagrams 3 and 4.
7. For 2014 and older models, align brackets 50007-45 (Driver)and 50007-46 (Passenger) against the square tubing structure on the inside of the
box, at the rear of the verhicle. Once again lift and support the drawer side of the box, making sure the brackets do not move in the process.
Tighten down the factory bolts used on the mounting tab of the bracket making sure to not move the brackets when tightening. For 2015 and
newer models, tighten the 50007-9 brackets using the provided metric hardware in the same manner.
8. Lower the safe box back down making sure the brackets line up with the inside square structure tube.
9. Insert (1) screw in each of the brackets 50007-7, using the self tapping ability of the screws screw them into the end of the box. Then, screw
(2) screws in to each rear bracket (50007-45 & 46, or 50007-9) tapping them into the square tube structure.
***For the rear brackets, you may also utilize the included 1/4” hardware in place of the self-tapping screws if you prefer.***
10. Reinstall the bottom drawers removed in step 2. It is recommended again for two people to reinstall the drawer. The tab does not need to be
pushed on the slider for the drawer to be reinstalled. The sliders on the box and drawer just need to be lined up and the the drawer closed,
that will lock the sliders.
Note: Re-check all hardware for proper tightness upon completion and periodically
inspect hardware and parts for signs of wear throughout the life of the product.
