This manual provides detailed step-by-step
procedures for proper use of your Alto II
mobile phone.
•Prepare the Alto II mobile phone
according to the instructions found from
page 7.
•Let the device make a full battery
charging before first use (at least 1h).
•Switch-on your Alto II mobile phone and
follow the startup procedure on page 12.
•Refer to the manual descriptions for any
operation.

The Alto II mobile phone is a simple,
convenient and robust solution for

Preparation
Remove the back panel of your Alto II,
and insert the SIM card:

Insert the battery and replace the back panel:
Insert the handset in the cradle, connect the adapter cable and the AC plug:
N.B: You must let your Alto II in the cradle during 1h at least for the first charging.

Voice-guide

Once your mobile phone is switched-on,
the voice-guide starts to speak to deliver
information about proper usage:
You can mute or tune the volume using
the following right-side keys.
Aside of advice, the voice-guide will read
the content of your SMS to improve the
accessibility.

Once your mobile phone is switched on
and waiting for use, the main screen is
the following:
You can access the main menu by
pressing the OK key. Then, the main menu
is displayed as a list that you can navigate
with up/down keys, and select the item
by pressing the OK key.

Important notifications
Special events are notified with specific background colors:

Startup
After pressing the RED key for more than 3
seconds, step through the illustrated steps.
The PIN code has only to be inactivated the
first time the SIM card is used.
If the operator is smart enough to provide
date and time the related steps are
automatically skipped.

The main menu is accessed by pressing the OK key. The different sections can be
covered using the up and down keys:

Emergency call
Emergency call to SOS numbers:
To generate an SOS alarm call, press any
key except RED key for more than 5
seconds. RED key can be used to cancel
the operation.
SOS numbers are selected among the
contacts (see the settings section). They
are chain-called until success. If no SOS
contacts are selected, SOS call is disabled.

During call, you can tune the volume:
During call, you can generate DTMF tones
to make selections operations:
Internal keyboard can alternately be used
for such purpose.
