USING TUBE WITH OTHER UNITS
1 Connect the TUBE to the power outlet
using the AC power cord included. The
AC power socket is located on the rear
panel of the unit.
2 Connect the TUBE to your other units
using the LINE INPUT connectors located
on the rear panel.
3 Turn to ON the MASTER SWITCH on the
rear panel.
4 Press the Power On button and then
press once the IN button located on the
front panel to select the LINE INPUT as
the input - the LED colour will change
from blue to green.
5 Wait for around 30 seconds to allow the
valves to warm up.
USING TUBE WITH GOLD NOTE
UNITS
1 Connect the TUBE to the power outlet
using the AC power cord included. The
AC power socket is located on the rear
panel of the unit.
2 Connect the TUBE to your Gold Note
unit using the GN TUBE connection cable
included. Please ensure to use the TUBE
INPUT connectors located on the rear
panel.
3 If you want the unit to automatically turn
ON/OFF along your other Gold Note
unit in master/slave mode, connect your
other Gold Note unit (master) to the tube
output stage (slave) through the GN LINK
IN connector found on the rear panel.
If you want it to act as the master and
control other Gold Note units, use the
GN LINK OUT connector instead.
4 Turn to ON the MASTER SWITCH on the
rear panel.
5 The status LED will turn ON/OFF as it is
now controlled by the other Gold Note
unit. When ON, the Power Led is blue as
the TUBE INPUT is selected.
With 12 or 6 tubes, our Valve Output Stage
is the best way to enhance your system for
improved realism and musicality.
Our proprietary Totem-Pole Output Stage
design, with six independent audio stages
per tube, guarantees ultra-wide bandwidth
response and ultra-low distortion to deliver
the purest audio signal ever.
Thanks to new audio inputs on the rear
panel our valve output stages can be
connected with up to two sources at the
same time using the TUBE INPUT for the
Gold Note sources and the LINE INPUT for
other manufacturers. The input can be easily
selected from the front panel for maximum
convenience and ease of use.

We recommend to register the unit on our
internet website within 15 days from the
purchase at
www.goldnote.it/product-registration
If the unit is not registered correctly or has
been purchased from a different country of
the purchaser home address the unit will
not be covered by any warranty and the
registration will be refused.
Please note that the warranty does not cover
in any case: Tubes, Phono Cartridge Stylus
and Batteries.
WARRANTY
All Gold Note products come with a
warranty against defective materials and
workmanship.
Any service and inspection must be carried
out by a Gold Note dealer or distributor so
in case you need any assistance with this
product, please contact the seller.

Descriptions and technical characteristics
may vary at any time and without notice.

opened, serviced and inspected by certified
Gold Note technicians and dealers. Work
performed by unqualified personnel may
cause serious damage or personal injury.

personnel will void the guarantee.

factory or to the distributor without being

| TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The LED on the front
panel is OFF.
The Tube output stage is
not playing.
|The POWER CORD is
damaged or not plugged
in.
|Ensure that the POWER
CORD is not damaged
and connect it properly.
|Press the Power ON/
Standby button.
|The MASTER SWITCH is
OFF.
|The unit is heating.
|The fuse is blown.
|Turn ON the MASTER
SWITCH on the rear panel
of TUBE-1012.
|Wait for the unit to be
ready - about 30 sec.
|Substitute the fuse with
one of the same value.

CLEANING THE UNIT
With EXTREME care use ONLY water or detergents for delicate surfaces with a very soft
cloth to sweep dust and remove stains.
Any acid or not extremely soft cloth will irreversibly damage the unit ne aesthetic. Do not
use alcohol.
