Bellavista Signature Italian Prestige Rigid Turntable
Congratulations
Thank you for having purchased a GOLDENOTE® product.
Introduction
With GOLDENOTE® products you enter
a new dimension. GOLDENOTE® is the
new way of listening to music.
GOLDENOTE® is a range of products of
prestigious and sophisticated Italian
design featuring unique and innovative
technical and aesthetic characteristics.
The Bellavista Signature is the top class
turntable of the rigid series.
The turntable is carefully made of parts
exclusively manufactured for Goldenote
with the highest standards and quality materials to reach a superior sonic performance.
The turntable features a double 20mm thick black acrylic plinth decoupled with six bronze spacers
cylinders.
The turntable also features a 20mm thick platter made of solid black polyvinyl. Underneath the
platter there are 9 gold plated weights to increase the peripheral mass of the platter. As such, the
rotation stability is improved.
The Bellavista Signature also employs a high precision aluminium pulley to guarantee perfect
speed capability.
The innovative platter bearing/spindle system, much larger and longer than the usual ones, is
based on a bronze external threaded bearing that ensures perfect on axis alignment. Both are
electronically machined and polished to tolerances smaller than 1/100 of a millimeter, to achieve
exceptional sound performance.
Also, at the bottom of the platter bronze bearing a special threaded bearing made of Arnite© (one
of the hardest and toughest self lubricant plastic polymers) allows for a smoother turntable
rotation and eventually a VTA adjustment normally available only through the tone arm setting.
All Goldenote products are proudly designed, manufactured and assembled in Italy 100%

Construction features
-The BELLAVISTA is rigid turntable that, like all the turntables of the Goldenote line, uses a plinth made in black high-
density polished acrylic obtained via “polymeric melting The black plinth has 3 aluminium height-adjustable feet with a
semi-conical shape featuring central grooves to ensure greater insensitivity to vibrations. Each foot has a recessed
spike may be used to couple rigidly the turntable on its shelf.
-The turntable platter is in “extruded” polyvinyl, an ideal very deaf dampening material. Below the platter are 9 gold-
plated brass weights, which increase the peripheral inertia of the platter and thus further improve the rotational
regularity and stability.
-The spindle is 80mm long made with C40 steel rectified & polished to achieve super high-level tolerances. A large
longitudinal groove is located on its axis, which allows the lubricating oil to run in constant manner.
-The longer spindle eradicates any pendulum effect and distributes the inertial energy along its entire axis, completely
annulling any type of lateral friction.
-When the turntable is new the spindle will tend to “clean” any residual dirt in the bearing. In this way even the tiniest
residual friction built up after only a few dozen hours operation will be completely eliminated.
-The bearing that houses the spindle is made entirely in bronze and has a thrust washer made of
ARNITE
® located on
the bottom that allows for:
-Perfect coupling.
-Adjustment of the VTA carried out directly on the turntable plinths.
-The possibility of eliminating virtually every type of friction that could build up during the years with
conventional bearing/spindles.
-Moreover, the bearing is threaded on the outside in order to be tightly anchored to the board of the turntable on its
own axis. The bearing is locked onto a brass ring support specially designed to obtain a perfect flat coupling.,
-The clamp that is made of aluminium alloy chosen for its excellent sound performance.
-The motor, which is AC (synchronous) 24 pole with an extremely high coupling coefficient and very low noise, is
moved by a custom made capacitor. The performs the innovative HDM (Highly Dampened Motor) system to drastically
reduce vibrations
-The pulley is enable fast 33/45 manual convenient switch -
N.B.: acrylic and polyvinyl are inert, especially rigid materials that make them ideal for absorbing vibrations. With their
extremely elevated technical and sound characteristics these materials are easily subjected to small surface scratches.
Particular care must therefore be paid to clean the platter and the turntable with a very soft cloth. Avoid the use of any
type of solvent. Despite not making use of mats, the platter will not ruin new vinyl records and creates a perfect coupling
with it.

Set-up Instructions
1) Remove the turntable and parts from the box and check all the parts of the co9ntent list is available.
2) Place the Bellavista Signature deck on a level surface you have chosen for it. We recommend a wall shelf, as they
are the most sturdy, and immune to footfall, but a well made equipment rack should give satisfactory results also.
Once the table deck is placed on your chosen set-up location you are now ready to continue.
3) Remove the adhesive cap from the centre of the Bellavista Signature deck
4) Remove the small jar of oil and slightly wet the spindle using your finger, before inserting into the bronze bearing
of the turntable.
5) Installing the spindle into the bearing may take some patience and time before the spindle fully drops down into
the bearing well, as you will be compressing air until all the air has escaped from the bearing. Please notice that at
the bottom of the bearing well, (under the table deck) there is an adjustable thrust washer. In the unlikely event,
this is to allow you to adjust the platter height relative to the table deck. Upon installation, a small amount of oil
may leak out past the threads on the white screw due to the pressure of the compressed air. Simply wipe the oil
up, and it should stop dripping once the spindle has seated itself.
6) Remove the platter from the foam. Gently, and carefully place it onto the spindle with the brass weights facing
down.
7) Place the Allen wrench away in a safe place, as it will also be used to tighten down the 3 Allen screws in the arm
mounting board at a later time, when you are ready to mount your chosen tone-arm that will be plug & play if
features the common standard 23mm diameter of the shaft and 220/240 Effective Length.
8) Remove the Aluminium record clamp from the foam and place it on top of the platter centre.
9) Remove the black belt from the foam, and install it on the platter.
10) The pulley on the Bellavista Signature is an adjustable 33/45rpm pulley. Notice there are 2 grooves in the pulley.
The top smaller groove is for 33 rpm, and the lower larger groove is for 45 rpm.
11) Though the speed is factory set to 33.3, rpm and 45 rpm with a perfect 60hz frequency, you can personally vary
the speed + or- 1% using a coin (like a penny) on the top of the pulley to account for hertz changes in your AC
from state to state, etc. Turning the centre of the pulley clockwise speeds the table up, while turning it counter
clockwise slows it down.
12) Now before attempting to mount a tone arm you must level the platter using a spirit level. Be sure to level the
platter both front to back, and side-to-side! Once you have the table levelled you may connect the tone arm cable
to the arm and amp. The Turntable is ready to work!

Positioning the Bellavista Signature
Your BELLAVISTA SIGNATURE turntable has been designed for sheltered Hi-Fi systems. It must be protected from any
eventual variations in temperature and humidity. Avoid using in the vicinity of radiators or other strong heat sources,
electrical and electronic motors, switched on mobile phones etc.
The location in proximity of other audio components is not theoretically critical, but you should nevertheless pay attention
to this.
The levelling and positioning on a solid, firm board, as explained in the previous chapter, are fundamental elements to
ensure the maximum sonic performances.
PLEASE NOTE.: Check that the correct acceptance voltage is indicated on your turntable. Incorrect voltage will prevent
your BELLAVISTA SIGNATURE from working properly and could risk causing irreparable damage.
WARNING: Never turn on the turntable while any parts are disassembled as contact with the high voltage inside the
BELLAVISTA SIGNATURE turntable could be fatal.
33 1/3 rpm or 45 rpm
By positioning the belt in the smaller groove of the synchronous pulley motor, the BELLAVISTA SIGNATURE turntable be
set at 33 1/3 rpm, while in the larger groove it will be set at 45 rpm. This positioning must be carried out manually.
The pulley may be covered by a Jewellery Gold Plated cover available as optional.
Turning on
The On/Off switch is located on Acrylic board inserted in an anodised aluminium collar. Once the switch has been turned to
ON (1) the turntable will start working at the speed hand selectioned.
