INTRODUCTION
The SW-5054R 5x3 Multi-Format Presentation Switcher with HDMI, HDBaseT-Lite Outputs &
Recorder is a multi-in-one presentation switch with HDBaseT extender and video recorder functions
into one compact device. With five multi-format inputs to two HDMI and one HDBaseT outputs,
SW-5054R is well suited for use in digital signage, conference room presentation systems or other
similar settings or applications. Besides, user can record video of the device connected to the
SW-5054R and the voice from the built-in/external microphone to the USB flash drive or SD card.

PANEL DESCRIPTIONS
1. Channel Selected Button: Switch from the selected input back to the prior input channel
2. Channel Selected Button: Switch from the selected input to the next input channel
3. Selected Source Status LED: When users use port channel selected button, the indicator LED will
show the selected source.
4. DisplyPort Input: Connect to a DisplayPort source
5. HDMI Input 1-3: Connect to HDMI sources
6. Type C Input: Connect to a Type C source1
7. Input Signal LED: When the selected input receives the signal, the LED light will shine
8. Audio IN: Connect to analog stereo audio source
9. Slide Switch: Select recording storage device

Noted:
1. After recording, the device will create files which suffix is .mp4. Each .mp4 file name is saved as
record_(serial number), serial number starts from 0, 1, 2, …,. The file name serial number will
re-start from 0, 1, 2, after product power cycle.
2. The date and time of all recording files will be saved as 2013/1/1 13:00.
3. The recording function supports storage device(USB flash drive/ SD card) in the FAT32 and NTFS
format.
4. The storage space will need about 6GB for recording one hour
5. Press and hold recording button for 3-5 seconds to open/close HDCP mode. On HDCP mode, the
device can show the HDCP content video. User can know the device is on HDCP mode or not by
seeing the recorder status LED when you power on device.
[HDCP mode ON]: the LED flashes once
[HDCP mode OFF]: the LED flashes twice
6. The device can NOT record the HDCP content video.

Please ensure you have secured the connection between your computer COM port and the device.
Select correct COM port.
(2) Connected/disconnected Button
Click open/close button to connect/disconnect software

Select input (DisplayPort, HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, Type-C)
(4) Recording Button
Start/Stop recording function
(5) Firmware Updated Button
Before you start to update, please make sure you have secured the connection between your
computer COM port and the device.
Click button to do firmware update.
The firmware update window shows up as below.

WARRANTY
The SELLER warrants the SW-5054R 5x3 Multi-Format Presentation Switcher with HDMI,
HDBaseT-Lite Outputs & Recorder free from defects in the material and workmanship for 1 year from
the date of purchase from the SELLER or an authorized dealer. Should this product fail to be in good
working order within 1 year warranty period, The SELLER, at its option, repair or replace the unit,
provided that the unit has not been subjected to accident, disaster, abuse or any unauthorized
modifications including static discharge and power surge. This warranty is offered by the SELLER for
its BUYER with direct transaction only. This warranty is void if the warranty seal on the metal housing
is broken.
Unit that fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the current price of
parts and labor in effect at the time of repair. Such repairs are warranted for 90 days from the day of
reshipment to the BUYER. If the unit is delivered by mail, customers agree to insure the unit or assume
the risk of loss or damage in transit. Under no circumstances will a unit be accepted without a return
authorization number.
The warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including without limitations,
any other implied warranty or fitness or merchantability for any particular purpose, all of which are
expressly disclaimed.
Proof of sale may be required in order to claim warranty. Customers outside Taiwan are
responsible for shipping charges to and from the SELLER. Cables and power adapters are limited to a
30 day warranty and must be free from any markings, scratches, and neatly coiled.
