UltraSweepTM Traveler Instruction Manual
Installation
1Ensure the repeller and your vehicle engine are OFF. This device uses a rocker switch:“–”for ON and“O” for OFF.
a. If the engine is not running, the device will wait 2 minutes and then go into Working Mode. (green LED will ash)
b. If the vehicle engine is running, the middle LED will ash red and go into Standby Mode.
c. There is a 2 minute delay between each mode.
2Run the black spade connector to the negative terminal of the battery and secure it.
4Connect the 2-wire white plug on the other end of the power cord into the unit with the connector tab facing up.
3Run the red spade connector to the positive battery terminal and secure that connection. The red power cable
has a 1amp 250V, 20mm x 5mm fuse in series for safety. Ensure these wires are connected for a safe installation.
5If you have the optional LED Cable, plug that into the larger port on the device. Each of the 2-wire LED strands
maybe gently separated to space the lights out across your vehicle’s engine bay.
6Turn the unit on. LEDs 1 and 3 will ash white, and the center LED with ash red. Next it will go into detection
mode to determine if the engine is running.
7Secure all wires with zip ties or high-temperature double sided tape. Ensure no wires are touching hot pipes or hoses.

FOR LONG-TERM USAGE
As with any electrical device, the UltraSweepTM Traveler requires current to work. If your vehicle is going to be parked for a long
period of time, the vehicle should be started every 1-2 weeks to let the battery charge. This will prevent the battery from being
drained too low. This will vary based on the condition of your battery, weather and environmental conditions, and if anything else
is hooked up to the same battery.
