LoadingtheBatteryintotheCamera
Pleaseload3AAAbatteriesintothebatterycompartmentaccordingtofollowing steps:
(1)Slidethebatterycoverinthedirectionindicatedbythearrow:
(2)Insertthebatteriesasindicatedontheinnersideofthecover.
(3)Notecorrectpolarityasshownbelowdiagram.
(4)Closeandlockthebatterycover.
Note:

uIfyou remove thebatteryfromthecamera,you will

Inserting and RemovinganSDCard(NotSupplied)
Thecameracomeswith32 MBpre-buildmemorywhichallowsyoutostorepictures&videos
. Youcanexpand
thememorycapacitybyusing anoptionalSDorMMCmemorycardup to512MB.
Toinsertamemorycard, refertothefiguresshownbelow:
Inserting card:
Makesuretoturnoffthecamera.
Insertthememorycardcorrectlyandpushitintothecardslotasfarasitwillgo. Itwillclickintoplace.
Removing card:
ToremovetheSD/MMCcard, gentlypushthecard. Afterthecardpopsup, pullthecardoutoftheslot.
Pull thememorycardoutwithyourfingersintheoppositedirection.
Note:
lDonotremovetheSD/MMCcardwhilethecameraisprocessingdata(whentheLEDisflashing).
Whenamemorycardisfitted, moviesandpicturesaresavedoncardratherthanonthebuilt-in
memory.And, theSDcardicon willbeshownonLDCdisplay.
lItmaybenecessarytoformattheSDcardthefirsttimeitisused;especiallyifthecardhasbeen
usedindevicesotherthanyourcamera. Toformat,see [Format] inSETUPMODE (see page17).
lIftheBuilt-inmemory/SDcardisfull, theLCDdisplaywillshow"MEMORYFULL"flashing in
redcolor.IftheSDcardiswrite-protected,theSDcardiconwillchangeinredcolor.

TheSDcardcomeswithawrite-protectswitch.Whenthewrite-protect
switchissettotheLockposition,nofurthershotscanberecorded.To
ensurethatthecameracanoperatenormally,you shouldsetthewrite-
protectswitchtotheUnlockpositionbeforeinsertingtheSDcard.
Ifyouinsertawrite-protectedcard, themediaicon ontheLCDdisplaywillbecomered.
