Equipment List
• 1 SoccetBall™Ball
• 1 SoccetBall™Goal
1. SoccetBall™
Objective. Be the team with the highest score at the
end of a predetermined amount of time.
Number of Players. For an entire class
Setup.
• Use the play area available; a basketball court
indoors or soccer field outdoors is
recommended. Adjust the boundary and size
of the play area according to the age/ability of
the students. The Touchline (outside
boundary) should be about 92’ dia. The
circular play is divided in half by the
Centerline.
• Create a 32’ dia Inner Circle.
• Place the SoccetBall™Goal in the center of
the Inner Circle.
• Create two Penalty Markers on each side of
the Centerline that are located 23’ from the
goal using cones or spots (not included). Each
Penalty Marker is perpendicular to the
Centerline.
• Place the SoccetBall™Ball outside of the Touchline.
• Divide the class into 2 equal teams.
Game Play.
• The winning team of a pre-game coin toss receives the ball first.
• Place the ball anywhere just outside the circular Touchline. A player kicks it into play by performing an indirect kick,
meaning that another player must touch the ball before a point can be scored.
• Players make contact with the ball using the same contact rules as traditional soccer.

• The last team to touch the ball before it goes into the goal, scores one point.
• Players are allowed to play within the Inner Circle and within the entire playing area, there are no zones. The purpose of
the Inner Circle is to help the players get a better idea of where they are on the field without having to constantly look for
the goal.
• After a point is scored, the opposing team places the ball just outside the Touchline and performs an indirect kick to put
the ball back into play.
• If the ball goes out of bounds, a throw-in is awarded to the opponents of the player who last touched the ball before it
crossed the Touchline. The throw-in is performed by throwing the ball with both hands overhead while feet are on the
ground. No point is credited if the ball is thrown or bounced directly into the goal without first making contact with
another player.
• The CenterLine is used only during Penalty Kicks to divide the field and for spatial reference for players on the field.
Penalty Kicks are awarded by the Referee to the opposing team if a player commits a foul. The ball is placed on the
Penalty Marker, and all players from both teams position themselves on the opposite side of the Centerline from the
designated player attempting to kick the ball into the goal from the Penalty Marker.
o Penalty Kicks are awarded to the opposing team for the following infractions: intentional handball fouls, tripping,
holding, high kicks, recklessness and any other flagrant or violent contact, and low headers (i.e. heading the ball
below waist level in close proximity to an opponent. Note: low headers are dangerous in the game of
SoccetBall™due to the increased risk of getting kicked in the face).
o If the kicker missed the goal and the ball traverses the centerline, then the ball is now in play for both teams.
o If the kicker does not succeed in kicking the ball across the center line, then the opposing team is awarded a
throw-in.
