1. Introduction
1.1 Thank You
Thank you for the purchase of your GoRave Soul Way sound bar. This manual provides basic installation and operating instruc-
tions. The manual will help you experience the performance your sound bar was designed to produce.
1.2 Safety Precautions
►Carefully read this manual before connecting or operating your GoRave Soul Way sound bar. Keep this manual for later
reference.
►To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain, liquids, or moisture. Liquids can cause prod-
uct failure and fire. Do not spill liquids onto any part of the system.
►Connect your Soul Way to the power outlet only with the supplied 2-pin power cable. Do not modify the supplied cable
in any way. To safely disconnect the power cable, first disconnect the plug from the wall receptacle and then remove the
cable from the sound bar. Do not crush, pinch, bend at severe angles, expose to heat, or damage the power cable in any
way.
►Do not place near radiators, heating registers, stoves, or other appliances that produce heat.
►There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Stop using the GoRave Soul
Way and have it inspected and/or serviced by qualified service personnel if:
• The power supply cord or plug has been damaged.
• Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the unit.
• The unit has been dropped or damaged in any way.

3. TV Setup
The GoTV Audio Sender receives audio input from your television’s S/PDIF optical or coax audio output. The GoTV transmitter is
powered from a USB port.
3.1 Connect USB to power
a) GoTV needs power from an available USB port on your TV. If your TV doesn’t have an available USB port, use the included 5V
USB adapter. The adapter will operate between 90–270 AC line voltage with a line frequency of either 50 Hz or 60 Hz. There
is no need to convert or adjust the unit in any way.
b) Insert GoTV’s USB plug into your TV’s USB port, or insert GoTV’s USB plug into the supplied USB power adapter.
c) The LED status indicator will blink slowly indicating that GoTV is powered.
3.2 Connect to TV
a) Use the included TOSLINK to 3.5mm optical cable to connect your TV’s S/PDIF audio output to the 3.5mm input on the GoTV
Audio Sender.
b) If your TV does not have a TOSLINK output, connect the TV and GoTV Audio Sender using the supplied RCA to 3.5mm cable.

3.3 Setup the Soul Way sound bar
a) Ensure the power switch is in the “off” position, connect the power cord to the Soul Way, and plug the cord into your AC outlet.
b) Set the power switch to the “on” position.
c) Press the Power/Standby button on the top of the sound bar to bring the unit out of standby.
d) The standby LED indicator will go dark and the pair LED above the pair button will be lit dimly lit, indicating the unit is ready to
receive a wireless signal from an Audio Sender.
3.4 Cluster with Soul Shaker subwoofer
You can cluster your Soul Way sound bar with a Soul Shaker subwoofer. When these two products are clustered together, they
function as though they are a single device. Volume up/down or a change in pairing will affect both products simultaneously.
ToclusterSoulWaytoSoulShaker(withSoulWaybeingthemasterdevice),followthesesteps:
1) Prepare both devices:
•SwitchbothdevicesoffusingtheirACpowerswitches.
•PlaceyourSoulShakersubwooferwithin6feet(2meters)oftheSoulWaysoundbar.
•MakesureallAudioSenderswithinrangeoftheSoulWay(100feet/30meters),arepoweredoff.
2) Switch the Soul Way sound bar’s AC power switch to “on”.
3) Press and hold the Soul Way’s pair/bond button then press the power/standby button. Hold the pair/bond button until the
pair/bond LED begins to flash red.
4) While the Soul Way LED flashes, switch the Soul Shaker subwoofer on.
5) The pair/bond LED indicator will flash red on both devices. When both LEDs to show solid red, power the devices off.
6) Switch the Soul Way on and press its power/standby button. Switch the Soul Shaker on. Your devices are now clustered.
To uncluster the sound bar and subwoofer, follow the above process, but skip step 4 – do not power on the subwoofer. The sound
bar’s cluster attempt will end without finding the subwoofer and the devices will be unclustered.

3.5 Setup Infrared Remote Control for GoTV
YoucanuseyourTV’sinfrared(IR)remotecontroltocontroltheGoTVAudioSender,aSoulWaysoundbar,oraSoulWayand
Soul Shaker that have been clustered together.
You can use your TV’s infrared remote control to increase the volume, decrease the volume or mute the audio through the GoTV
Audio Sender. Follow these steps to train your GoTV to listen to the volume and mute commands from your IR remote.
1) Get your IR remote ready.
2) Disconnect the USB power and audio input cables from the GoTV Audio Sender. If GoTV senses that an audio cable is con-
nected at power up, it continues in normal operation. GoTV will only start the learning mode if it’s powered on without an audio
cable connected to its 3.5mm input.
3) Plug USB into a power source. The GoTV LED indicator will flash twice, ready to learn.
4) Press and release the following remote control buttons in sequence:
i. Volume ↑
ii. Volume ↓
iii. Mute
5) GoTV’s LED status indicator will briefly flash after each press and release. After pressing Mute on your remote control, GoTV’s
LED will stay on solid for 2 seconds, confirming the learning process is complete.
6) Insert the 3.5mm audio cable into the GoTV transmitter’s input jack and start playing audio.
You can disable infrared learning if you click the same button twice on your remote control during the learning procedure. To skip
learning and use your previously learned IR commands, make sure an audio cable is plugged into GoTV before connecting power.
If at any point in the sequence, GoTV does not see a button press for more than 15 seconds, the LED will flash twice and infrared
learning will be disabled. If GoTV sees at least one button press and no second or third button press within 14 seconds, the LED
will flash four times and all previously learned IR commands will be erased. If GoTV sees the same button pressed twice in a row,
the LED will flash four times and all previously learned IR commands will be erased. Use steps 1 and 2 above again to restart the
learning procedure.
GoTV will remember previously learned infrared commands even while powered off.
4. Playing from Smartphones, Tablets, and Computers
4.1 Quick start guide
a) Insert a GoRave Audio Sender into your device.
b) Play audio on your device.
c) Double-click the Pair/Bond button on the Soul Way. The LED status indicator should turn bright amber and you will hear your
audio playing from the Soul Way sound bar.
d) Press and hold the Pair/Bond button for 3 seconds to add your Audio Sender to the Soul Way’s Favorites List. The LED will
turn bright green.
e) Press the Connect button four times to put the Soul Way into “All Play” mode. The LED will turn red.

4.2 The Pair/Bond Button and LED Status Indicator
4.3 Playing audio from a smartphone or tablet device
a) InsertamobileGoRaveAudioSenderintoyoursmartphoneortabletdevice.Ifyouareusinga30-pinAppledevice,(e.g.
iPhone4S)installtheGoRaveappfromtheAppleiTunesStore.
b) Start playing audio on the device. At this point, the device is transmitting audio via the Audio Sender.
c) If the Audio Sender is the only one transmitting and it has been added to your Soul Way’s Favorites List, then you will hear
your audio play from the sound bar.
d) If the Audio Sender has not been favorited, follow the instructions in Section 4.6 to add your Audio Sender to the Soul Way’s
Favorites List.
e) If the Audio Sender is not the only one transmitting and your Soul Way is playing audio from another source, follow the in-
structions in Section 4.8 to hear audio from a different Audio Sender.
f) The GoRave app will list the GoRave Receivers the device has connected to. In the app, you can control the volume of each
Receiver as well as Master Volume up/down.
4.4 Playing audio from a MacOS computer (USB Audio Sender)
a) Insert the USB Audio Sender into the Mac’s USB port.
b) Play audio on the device.
c) Click the Apple in the top left corner of the screen and choose “System Preferences”.
d) Click on “Sound”.
e) In the Sound settings screen, click the “Output” tab.
f) Select “SKAA Transmitter” from the list of audio output devices.
g) Adjust the volume to desired level.
h) Play an audio file on your Mac and follow the Favorite List process in Section 4.6 to add this USB Audio Sender to the Soul
Way’s Favorites List.
i) After you add the USB Audio Sender to the Favorites List, press the Connect button four times to return the Soul Way to “All
Play” mode.
4.5 Playing audio from a Windows computer (USB Audio Sender)
a) Insert the USB Audio Sender into the Windows device. It will automatically install the required drivers and enable wireless

b) Play audio on the device.
c) Adjust the volume on the device to desired level.
d) Follow Section 4.6 to add this USB Audio Sender to the Audio Receiver’s Favorites List.
e) After you add the USB Audio Sender to the Favorites List, press the Connect button four times to return the Soul Way into “All
Play” mode.
4.6 Add an Audio Sender to the Favorites List
Soul Way sound bars can save a list of favorite Audio Senders. If an Audio Sender is not on the favorites list, the Soul Way may not
play your audio. Go to gorave.com/support and select “Quick Start Guide” for a quick Favorites List video tutorial.
a) To add an Audio Sender to the Soul Way’s Favorites List, connect the Audio Sender to a device and start playing audio.
b) The LED status indicator on the Soul Way should be a dim amber or dim green to indicate that it is exploring for new Audio
Senders. Double click the Connect button on the Soul Way to search for the transmitting, non-favorite Audio Sender. The LED
indicator will flash bright amber when it discovers the Audio Sender signal.
c) When you hear your audio playing from your loudspeakers, press and hold the Pair/Bond button for four seconds to save your
Audio Sender in the Favorites List.
d) The LED status indicator will turn solid green to indicate audio is playing from a favorite Audio Sender.
e) After you add the USB Audio Sender to the Favorites List, press the Pair/Bond button four times to return the Soul Way into
“All Play” mode.
4.7 “All Play” mode
“All Play” mode is the easiest way to use GoRave when you have more than one Audio Sender in your space.
After you add or remove an Audio Sender from an Soul Way’s Favorites List, press the Pair/Bond button four times to put the Soul
Way into “All Play” mode. The LED status indicator will turn red. Now the Soul Way will automatically play from any transmitting
Audio Sender in its Favorites List without having to manually press the Pair/Bond button.
Play with one Audio Sender at a time for Soul Way receivers in “All Play” mode. Disconnect the first Audio Sender when you want
a Soul Way to detect and play audio from a second Audio Sender.
4.8 Select a different Audio Sender when another is already playing
a) The easiest way to change audio sources is to disconnect the Audio Sender from the first device, then connect and play from
a second.
b) Activate “All Play” mode so the Soul Way will automatically play from any transmitting Audio Sender in the favorites list.
c) To manually control audio playback from the Soul Way:
(i)singleclickthePair/BondbuttontoswitchtothenexttransmittingfavoriteAudioSender
or
(ii)doubleclickonthePair/Bondbuttontoswitchtothenexttransmittingnon-favoriteAudioSender.
4.9 Reset / Clear all Pair/Bond settings
To clear all saved Audio Senders from the Favorites List, press the Bond button six times. The LED status indicator will flash red,
the Soul Way’s Favorites List will be cleared, and volume settings reset. You may now add new Audio Senders to the Favorites List.

4.10 Firmware Update
The Soul Way’s USB port is used only for software updates. GoRave may from time to time provide consumers with a firmware
update for Soul Way. Instructions on how to perform the update will be provided by GoRave when necessary.
4.11 Compatibility with other GoRave audio products
GoTV Audio Sender, Soul Way sound bar and Soul Shaker subwoofer are compatible with other GoRave Receivers and Audio
Senders and other SKAA-compatible audio products. Check out the combinations on gorave.com.
5. Troubleshooting
Most issues in audio systems are a result of incorrect connections or improper control settings. If you encounter problems, isolate
the area of difficulty, check the control settings, determine the cause of the fault and make the necessary changes.
5.1 Power/Standby LED is not lit
No main power to Soul Way. Check AC power connections at the amplifier and the AC outlet.
5.2 No sound playing from Soul Way
Check the Pair/Bond LED indicator on the top panel. If the Pair/Bond LED is dim, it means that Soul Way is seeking a connection,
with an Audio Sender. Check following conditions:
1) Isthesourcedevice(TV,computer,smartphone,tablet)turnedonandconnectedtoanAudioSender?
2) Isaudioplayingonthesourcedevice?
3) HastheSoulWaybeenpairedwiththeAudioSender?
4) IsthevolumeonthesourcedeviceorontheSoulWaymutedorsettoolow?
Soul Way can play from only one connection at time. If a device is already bonded with Soul Way and you are trying to play music
from another source, unplug the Audio Sender from the first device to allow the second device to play.
If the LED is lit solid, it means Soul Way has successfully bonded with a device in Favorites List. Check all of your connections and
control settings on associated components.

Defective units will be repaired or replaced without charge, at Levven’s discretion, with a like or comparable product by the Dealer
if presented with proof of purchase to the Authorized GoRave Dealer from whom the GoRave Soul Way was purchased. Any repair
or service performed by any person or entity other than GoRave is not covered by this limited warranty. Transportation costs are
not included in this warranty. This limited warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged by alteration, misuse, accident,
or neglect; or the product has been repaired or serviced by persons not authorized by Levven. THE FOREGOING CONSTITUTES
THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY GORAVE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT AND IS MADE EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Any implied warranties, including without limitation, any implied warranties of mer-
chantability or fitness for any particular purpose, imposed under state law are limited to the duration of this limited warranty. Some
