HOODINSTALLATION, MAINTENANCEANDUSAGE
GENERALINFORMATION
Beforeinstalling and/orusing thehood,youshouldreadall ofthefollowing instructionscarefully.Beforeinstallingthehood,makesurethat
thevoltage(V)and frequency(Hz)givenonthetagcontainingtheserialnumberand technicaldata,whichisplacedinsidethedevice,
correspondstothevoltageandfrequencyintheplaceofinstallation.
INSTALLATION
Thehoodcannot,underanycircumstances,beconnectedtotheventilation ductsofdevicespoweredbyanythingbutelectricity(bathroom
heaters,boilers,ovens).
Thedevicecannotbeinstalledonhobovens.
CONNECTINGTOELECTRICITY
Thehoodmustbeinstalledinastableandpermanentmanner.Connectthehoodtoelectricity!Toobtainfurtherinformationconcerningyour
line’svoltageandfrequency,checkthetaginsidethedevice,carefullyconnectthecabletotheplugorconnectthedevicetoamulti-pole
switchwithatleast3-mm gapsbetweencontacts.Thehood’spowersupplycable(typeH05 VV 3X0,75mm2,2m),markedL(line)andN
(neutral)and fastenedwithaclamp,shouldbeconnectedtoanappropriate,permanentpowersupplybyanauthorisedandcertifiedperson,
whohastoinstall thehoodaccordingtoanybindingstandardsandregulations,usingamulti-poleswitchwithatleast3-mmgapsbetween
contacts.Connectthepowersupplycable,ifit hasaplug,toanoutlet, whichwill enableyoutoswitchtheinstalledhoodonandoff,ortoan
outletwithamulti-poleswitchwithatleast3-mmgapbetweencontacts.Themanufacturerbearsnoresponsibilityincases,wherenotall
bindingstandardsforinstallationsafetyandsafeoperationofelectricalequipment wereobserved.
MAINTENANCE
Beforeconductinganyactions,pleaseensure, thatthepowersupplycableisdisconnectedfromtheoutletortheswitchisinOFFposition.
Cleaning:Externalpartsshouldbecleanedusingasoftclothdampenedwithaliquid,non-corrosivecleaning agent. Donot useany powders
orbrushes.
SAFETYPRECAUTIONS
Whencleaning,pleaseobservemanufacturer’srecommendations,especiallywhereresiduesoncleanedsurfacesareconcerned,toavoid
potentialfirehazard. Burnersshouldalwaysbecoveredtoavoidfilteroverheating. Donotleaveafryingpanunattended:theoil canoverheat
and ignite.Whenusingoil,theriskofself-ignitionraises. Itisabsolutelyforbiddentocookdisheswithopenflamesunderthehood. Theair
cannotbedirectedtotheventilation ductbyany meansbutbyelectricity,and anappropriateroomventilation systemshouldbeinplace,in
caseanyotherdevices,poweredbyany differentmeans,areusedatthesametimethatthehoodis.Ifthehoodisconnectedtoaventilation
duct,youshouldensure,that theduct isingoodcondition,evenifit hasnotbeenusedforanextendedperiodoftime. Remembertoalways
observeanylocalstandardsandregulationsofauthoritiesinpowerconcerningextractionofair,incasethehoodoperatesconnectedtothe
ventilationduct.

Control
−The“ “and“ ”buttonscontrolthefanspeedfrom1to4.
−“”button -pressingthisbuttonincreasesthefanspeed
−“”button -pressingthisbuttondecreasesthefanspeed
-“ ”button(Timer) –setsupthefanswitch-offtime
−Lightingbutton –switchesthehood lightonand off,independentlyfromengineoperation.Everytimethebutton ispressed,the
lightswitchesonoroff,
−Timer: toenableprogrammingautomaticswitchoff at anygiventimebetween10 and90 minutes, with10-minuteincrements.
-Toenableprogramming function,turntheengineon usingthe“ ”button tothelevelyouwant,and thenpressthebuttonto
program theswitch-off time. Thedisplaywill showablinking 0,whichmeans, that thetimeprogrammingmodewasentered.
-Selecttheautomaticswitch-off timeusingthe“ ”button,keepinginmind, thatthenumberonthedisplay,multipliedbythe
10-minutinterval,meansthetimeofautomaticswitch-off(e.g.1=10 min, 2=20 min, 3=30min,etc.)
-Withtheautoswitch-offtimerset, confirmthesettingusingthe timer button,thedisplaywill stop blinkingandwill showthe
previouslyselectedspeed,andtheblinkingdotnexttothespeedwillshowtheswitch-off time.Youcancanceltheautomatic
switch-offfunctionbypressingthe timer button againwhilethetimeiscounteddown.
Caution:Timer programmingshouldbecompletedwithin20 sesonds,otherwisenoactionwillbetaken,and thehoodwill resume
operationinnormalmode.
Shouldthecontrolpanelgetlocked,disconnectthehood fromthepowersupplyoutletandreconnectit after5minutes.Afterthistime,the
controlpanelwill resumenormaloperation.
