WARNINGS AND IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To reduce risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury of persons
Never handle cables with wet hands or on wet surface
Check the electric cables regularly
Before any maintenance switch electricity off and take plugs from sockets
Keep your hands away from mechanism that may damage fingers or hands
Make sure that there is not anything preventing free movements on GoSleep™ chair
Only authorized electric and maintenance persons are allowed to maintain or repair GoSleep™ Pod
When GoSleep™ Pod is taken in from subzero temperature wait at least one hour before switching
electricity on
Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children, invalids,
or disabled persons
Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer
Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or dropped into water, in that case return the appliance to a service center for
examination and repair
Do not carry this appliance by supply cord or use cord as a handle
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces
Never drop or insert any objects into any opening
Do not use outdoors
Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered
This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least
resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord
having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances
Be sure to check that there is not anybody (children in particular), pet or obstacle behind prior to inclining
the Backrest, otherwise, it may result in a cause of injury or trouble

disassemble or repair the chair, otherwise, it may result in a cause of fire, electric shock or injury

1. Main functions of GoSleep™ Pod and components
Normal functions of the GoSleep™- Sleeping pod are described in next instruction. If there are any
irregularities during operation please follow next maintenance instructions:

The backrest is operated by pushing up and down buttons attached on the wall
of the unit. There are light on buttons when in use. GoSleep™ chair has two
main positions and all positions between them to be used as a chair and as a
flat bed. Backrest of the chair can´t be raised if the Sliding Shade isn´t totally
opened.
If the backrest position buttons are not working properly:
Check that the Sliding Shade is totally opened
Check that The Sliding Shade moves underneath sensor to the end
position freely
If there is no red light shining on the buttons check main electricity
power supply and fuse
The Sliding Shade is operated manually. It should move smoothly along tracks.
If the movement is not smooth or something is hindering the movement check:
That the Sliding Shade is properly on the tracks
That there are no extra things in/ on the tracks
The USB Charger has light on when functioning properly. It is designed only for
charging small electric devices like phones etc. If not charging properly:
Check the main power supply and fuse, in details at section 7
Check all cable connections

Attention! The decorative walls are attached with screws from inside direction
through prefabricated holes. All screws should be tightened with care, not too
tight to avoid damages.

19.5. Maintenance and replacement of the Sliding Shade Unit

Opening the Sliding Shade stopper, stopper material is made of ply wood.
The Sliding Shade Unit should move smoothly to the end position. The sheet metal counterpart
should be properly attached with the sliding cover felt to give a signal to the Sensor when totally
closed to enable safe backrest upwards movement.

21.6. Maintenance and function of the Sensor
Backrest upward movement is limited by inductive sensor. Sensor is located at the lowest part of
the tracks on the wall. It is important that the Sliding Shade Unit moves following tracks beneath
the sensor smoothly without touching the sensor at right distance.

GoSleep™ electric controlling system is located on the wall inside the decorative
panel

The back rest can´t be raised up when the Sliding Shade Unit is
closed. The back rest can only be raised when properly opened.
There is a metal counterpart sheet fastened on the Sliding Shade
Unit to enable positions detection of the Sliding Shade. The sensor
distance from the Sliding Shade should be proper 2 –3 mm
If there are irregularities with backrest up and down movements
check that the Sliding Shade don´t touch sensor and moves
smoothly under the sensor. Normally there is no need to adjust
sensor. Always check first the Sliding Shade condition and cable
connections, before operations with sensor

Alarm system for emergency situations
Attention! Only authorized persons are allowed to do electric maintenance
according to the local regulations
GoSleep™ Pod is controlled by logic unit

box. To open, pull upper part of the box.
Spare fuse is included
There is red light at the top part of the
decorative side panel. Inside UNI-pod is
an emergency button for emergency
situations
When pushed once the red light will blink
outside. When pushed 20 seconds
continuously the light will stop blinking
