Note: The ON/OFF button can also be used as a
factory reset button – simply press and hold the

button. Only do this if you want to erase the
socket’s current settings.
The socket can be controlled individually. You can
also control it individually in your app.

Download the Gosund App
1. Search “Gosund” and download the Gosund App
on the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR
code below and install.
2. Please open the “Gosund” App. Click register and
type in your email address to automatically
create an account, or type in your phone
number to get a verification code to register an

account. If you already have a Gosund account,
simply click login and enter your account
credentials.
3. The free app “Gosund” is compatible with mobile
devices that support iOs 8.0 and above or
Android 4.4 and above.

Connecting the Device With App
A. Easy Mode (Recommended)
Please open the “Gosund” App. Tap the “Add Device”
or the “+” symbol at the upper right-hand corner of
the page, and select “Power Strip”. Please also make
sure that the Smart Power Strip is connected at the
same time.
1. Press and hold the on/off button of the device
for about 5 seconds, until the indicator light
rapidly flashes.
2. Make sure the indicator light is flashing rapidly
and confirm it in your app.

3. Choose your home WiFi (make sure the WiFi
connection you choose is the same
connection/WiFi you used on your phone/device,
and that it is 2.4GHz, not 5GHz). Enter the
correct password and confirm. If the WiFi is
5GHz or the password is incorrect, it will lead to
connection failure.

4. Wait to successfully configure, then tap “Done”.
B. AP Mode
1. Please switch to “AP Mode” if the connection
fails in “Easy Mode”.

2. Press and hold the on/off button until the
indicator light flashes slowly.
3. Make sure the indicator light is flashing slowly,
confirm this in the app.
4. Choose your 2.4G WiFi, enter the password and
confirm it in the app.
5. Tap “Connect now” and choose the WiFi hotspot
named “SmartLife-xxx”, the go back to the
Gosund app.
Safety Information
The device is recommended for indoor use and dry
places only. The power outlet shall only be used
within its published outlet rating stated on the
instructions.
Please contact the seller for replacement in case
there is damage caused by transportation.

Using Amazon Echo
You will need:
•Amazon Alexa app & account
•Gosund app & account (You need to register an
account. Select region as “United States“.)
•Echo Do tor other Amazon voice operated
devices Smart Power Strip.
Tip: Rename the device after configuring it
successfully. It is recommended that you use an
easy name (Amazon Echo only supports English).
Set Your Echo Speaker Via Alexa App
1. Sign in with your Alexa account & password (if
you are not registered, sign up first). Afterwards,
log in. Click the menu at the top left, then click
“Add device“ and choose Amazon Echo.

2. Choose a device (for example Echo). When the
right page appears, press and hold the small dot
on your Echo device until the light turns orange.
Afterwards, click “Continue“ on the app. (Note: at
this time, the mobile phone cannot open a
variety of VPN software.)

3. Choose the users’ WiFi and wait for a few
minutes.¨
4. After an introduction video, press next step, you
will be redirected to the home page. The Echo is
now connected to the Alexa app through WiFi
successfully.
Enable Our Skill in The Alexa App
1. Press “Skills & Games” in the options bar, and
then search for “Gosund” in the search bar.
Select “Gosund” in the search bar results, and
then press “Enable”.
2. Type in the username and password that you
have previously registered. (This product only
supports accounts made in the United States),
then click “Gosund” and “Authorize”. When you
see the page below, it means the Alexa account
has successfully linked with your Gosund
account.

Control by Voice
After the previous operation, you can control the
Smart Power Strip via Echo. Firstly, users need to
say to Echo, “Echo or Alexa, discover my devices.”

1. Discovering Devices
Echo will start to find the devices added in the
Gosund app. This will take about 20 seconds. You
may also click “Discover Devices” on the Alexa app, it
will show all available devices.
Note: “Echo” is one of the three wake-up names, the
other two names are Alexa/Amazon.
2. Support Skill List
You can control devices by instructions, as shown
below:
“Alexa, turn on/off (name of the power strip).”
“Alexa, turn on lamp.”
“Alexa, turn off lamp.”
Note: The name of the device must be consistent
with the name of the device on the Gosund app.

Warranty Conditions
A new product purchased in the Alza.cz sales
network is guaranteed for 2 years. If you need
repair or other services during the warranty period,
contact the product seller directly, you must provide
the original proof of purchase with the date of
purchase.
The following are considered to be a conflict
with the warranty conditions, for which the
claimed claim may not be recognized:
•Using the product for any purpose other than
that for which the product is intended or failing
to follow the instructions for maintenance,
operation and service of the product.
•Damage to the product by a natural disaster, the
intervention of an unauthorized person or
mechanically through the fault of the buyer (eg
during transport, cleaning by inappropriate
means, etc.).
•Natural wear and aging of consumables or
components during use (such as batteries, etc.).

•Exposure to adverse external influences, such as
sunlight and other radiation or electromagnetic
fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, mains
overvoltage, electrostatic discharge voltage
(including lightning), faulty supply or input
voltage and inappropriate polarity of this
voltage, chemical processes such as used power
supplies, etc.
•If anyone has made modifications,
modifications, alterations to the design or
adaptation to change or extend the functions of
the product compared to the purchased design
or use of non-original components.
