IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When operating this electric appliance, basic safety instructions should always
be followed. Refer to the following for these instructions
1. READ ALL SAFETY & USAGE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
2. Do not use appliance on wet or hot surfaces, or near a heat source.
3. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse any part of appliance,
power cord or plug in water or other liquid. Unplug from outlet when not
in use and before cleaning.
4. To disconnect, unplug power cord from electrical outlet. Do not
disconnect by pulling on cord.
5. Do not operate appliance with a damaged power cord or plug. Do not
operate appliance if it malfunctions or is in any way damaged. For details,
contact Customer Services.
6. Use appliance only for its intended use.
7. Closely supervise children when using any electrical appliance. Do not
allow appliance to be used as a toy.
8. The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify plug in any
way.
9. Caution: A short power cord is provided to reduce risks from
entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be
used when marked electrical rating is no less than electrical rating of this
appliance. All cords should not drape over counter or tabletop where
cords can be tripped over or pulled on unintentionally, especially by
children.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or heated oven.
Extreme caution must be used when moving products containing hot
liquids.
11. Wait at least 20 seconds between seals to allow appliance to cool.

Electrical 3-conductor Cord Set:
Appliance is equipped with a
3-conductor cord set that has a 3 prong
grounding-type plug. It should be
properly connected to a grounding-type
a 3-grounding outlet unit, and as such,
the grounding prong should never be
removed. If needed, purchase a 2-prong
adapter and ground it to the outlet.
Do not use an adapter unless you are
for assistance.

Before each use, uncover the grill completely. Be sure the grill is two to four
inches away from the wall. Remove any object that may have been on top of
the unit.
1. Plug the unit and switch on at the main control panel.
2. Pull out the Oil Drip Tray and ll half way with water to reduce smoke while
cooking. Then slide the Oil Drip Tray carefully back into position.
Important: Do not pour water over the heating element.
3. Adjust the Variable Temperature Control to the needed cooking temperature,
from MIN to MAX.
NOTE: During initial use, some smoke may be observed and some odor may be
present, this is normal.
4. Pre-heating: 10-15 minutes.
5. Put the food items such as meat, sh or vegetables onto the Grill Plate for
grilling.
6. Remove the food once the grilling process is complete.
7. Turn OFF after use and unplug the unit.

CAUTIONS & HELPFUL HINTS
CAUTIONS:
1. To prevent overheating and to make cleaning easier, fill the drip tray half
way with water.
2. All parts of the unit will be very hot, especially the Grill Plate and Oil Drip
Tray when in use, use caution when coming into contact with it.
3. Do not use this grill on any unstable surfaces or near any flammable
materials (eg. newspaper, cloth, carpets, etc.).
4. Be sure to place grill on heat-proof surfaces that will not get damaged by
the hot appliance.
HELPFUL HINTS:
1. The temperature light will turn on when the grill begins to heat up.
2. When the grill reaches the set temperature, it will automatically stop and
restart after 1-2 minutes. This helps prevent food from burning.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Turn OFF the Variable Temperature Control and unplug the unit from the
outlet and let it cool down thoroughly before cleaning.
2. Be sure that the unit is cool enough before putting ON or taking OFF parts.
3. The Grill Plate and Oil Drip Tray are washable with soap and water.
Attention: To avoid scratching the non-stick surface, do not use harsh or
abrasive cleaners. The appliance should only be cleaned with a sponge or soft
cloth and with liquid dishwashing soap. (NO scouring powder or brush!). Do not
use metal scouring in cleaning the unit.
4. Do not immerse the Cool Touch Base with Heating Element in water or any
other liquids. Wipe the unit base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
6. Reassemble the Electric Grill after drying and then store.
NOTE: If foods have burnt onto the grill plate, let it soak for a few hours, and
then clean it as described above.

WARRANTY & SERVICE
This Limited Warranty is for one full year from the date of purchase. It is
applicable to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to a third party
user. Repair or replacement of defective parts is solely at the seller’s discretion.
In the event that repair isn’t possible, the seller will replace the product/part. If
the cash value of the product or component returned.
Product defects not covered under the Warranty provisions include normal wear
and damage incurred from use or accidental negligence, misuse of instruction
is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages incurred by such
circumstances.
