Li-ion Battery
for Venture TTL 600 Monolight
INSTRUCTIONS
Precautions ⚠⚡ Specications
The charger (included with the Venture
TTL 600 monolight) is designed to recharge
the 4000 mAh Venture Li-ion battery. The
multivoltage charger will operate between
100 – 240V 50/60Hz. A plug adapter will be
necessary in foreign countries.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the
battery.
• Keep away from heat, re, dust, and
ammable oil and gases.
• Unplug the battery from its power
source when it is completely charged.
• Do not place metal objects near the
power outlets.
• Do not allow moisture or liquids to
come in contact with the battery or

• Use the appropriate power cable for
the intended ash component.
• Do not use damaged cables—
replacements are available from your
Impact retailer.
• Charge only with the supplied Impact
charger.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Voltage: 14.8 V
• No. of full power ashes: Approx. 500
• Charging time: 3.2 hours
• Overheat limit: Thermal protection

A multivoltage 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz
charger is included with the Venture TTL 600
for the rechargeable Li-ion battery.
To charge the battery:
1. Plug the AC cord into a wall outlet, and
the charger’s indicator light will glow
green to indicate that power is being
received.
2. Connect the DC cord to the battery. The
indicator light will glow red to indicate
the battery is charging, and green to
indicate that the battery is charged.
To install the battery:
1. Slide the insertion guides into the slots
in the battery compartment. Make sure
the metal contact plates on the battery
are aligned with the contacts in the
battery compartment.
2. Press the battery into place until it
clicks shut.
Note: Impact recommends fully charging
the battery before its initial use and after an
extended period of inactivity (more than two
months).
If the unit is left unused for an extended
period of two weeks or more, or if the unit
has been used predominately at low-power
settings, set the power to maximum and
switch the monolight on (with the modeling
lamp off) for at least 10 minutes. This will
help preserve the life of the capacitors.
When not in use, the battery loses
approximately 3%–14% of its charge per
month. To maintain your battery, recharge it
every 2–3 months, even if it’s not in use.
