BurnerTubes.Thistypeof"FLASHBACKFIRE"
can causeseriousgrilldamageandcreatean
unsafeoperating condition fortheuser.
ToreducethechanceofFLASHBACK
FIREyoumustcleantheBurner Tubes
asfollowsbeforeassemblingyourgrill.
Alsodothisatleastonceamonthinsummer
andfallorwheneverspiders areactiveinyour
area,and ifyourgrill hasnotbeen usedforan
extendedperiod oftime.

METHOD 1:Bend astiff wireorwirecoat
hangerintoasmallhookasshownandrun
thehook throughtheBurnerTubeand inside
the Burnerseveraltimestoremovedebris.
METHOD 2:Use abottlebrushwithaflexible
handleand run thebrushthrough theBurner
Tube andinsidetheBurnerseveraltimesto
removeanydebris.
METHOD 3:Use anairhose toforceair
througheachBurnerTube.Theforced air
shouldpassdebris orobstructionsthroughthe
BurnerandoutthePorts.
TOCLEANBURNER TUBE, INSERTHOOK

1. Removethe screwfromtherearofeachBurner
using aPhillipsHeadScrewdriver.
2. Carefullylift each Burnerupandawayfromthe
GasValveOrifice.
3. Check and cleanBurner/VenturiTubes forinsects
andinsectnests.Acloggedtubecanleadtoafire
beneaththegrill.
4.Refertothefigurebelowand performone of
these3cleaningmethods:

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
CORRECTLPGASTANKUSE
LP Gas grill modelsaredesignedforuse witha
standard20lb.LiquidPropane Gas (LPGas) tank,
notincluded withgrill. Never connectyourgasgrillto
an LPGastank thatexceedsthiscapacity.Atankof
approximately12inchesindiameterby18-1/2inches
highisthe maximumsizeLP Gas tanktouse. You
mustusean "OPD" gastankwhichoffers alisted
Overfill Prevention Device. Thissafetyfeature
preventstank frombeingoverfilled whichcan cause
malfunctionofLPGastank,regulatorand/orgrill.
Never connectan unregulated LPgastanktoyour
gasgrill.The gasregulatorassemblysuppliedwith
yourgasgrillisadjustedtohave anoutletpressure
of11"watercolumn(W.C.)forconnectiontoan LP
gastank.Onlyuse theregulatorandhose assembly
suppliedwithyourgas grill. Replacementregulators
and hose assembliesmustbethose specifiedby
the Manufacturer.
HaveyourLPGasdealercheckthe release valve
afterevery fillingtoensure itremainsfreeofdefects.
AlwayskeepLPGastankinuprightposition.
Do notsubjecttheLP Gastank toexcessiveheat.
NeverstoreanLPGas tankindoors. Ifyoustore
yourgasgrill inthe garage always disconnectthe
LPGastankfirstandstoreitsafelyoutside.
LP Gastanksmustbestoredoutdoors inawell-
ventilatedareaandoutofthereachofchildren.
DisconnectedLPGas tanksmustnotbestoredina
building,garageoranyotherenclosedarea.
Theregulatorand hoseassemblycanbeseenafter
openingthe doors (ifapplicable)and mustbe
inspectedbeforeeach use ofthegrill.Ifthereis
excessiveabrasion orwearorifthehose iscut,it
mustbereplacedpriortousing the grillagain.
Never lightyourgas grillwiththelidclosedor
beforecheckingtoensurethe burnertubesarefully
seatedoverthe gas valveorifices.
Never allow childrentooperateyourgrill.Do not
allow children orpetstoplaynearyourgrill.

inaccordancewiththeSpecificationsforLP-Gas
Cylindersofthe U.S.DepartmentofTransportation
