CONTROLS
Power and Mode Settings
1. To start heater operation, turn Thermostat Control clockwise to the highest setting.

3. The Power Indicator will remain lit whenever unit is plugged into power outlet.

SET UP

2. Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same
outlet. At 1500 Watts, this unit draws 12.5 Amps.
NOTE: THIS UNIT IS FOR FLOOR USE ONLY.
NOTE: IT IS NORMAL FOR THE HEATER TO CYCLE ON AND OFF AS IT MAINTAINS THE
PRESET TEMPERATURE. TO PREVENT THE UNIT FROM CYCLING, RAISE TEMPERATURE
SETTING. THE MODE AND THERMOSTAT CONTROLS DO NOT ADJUST OR CHANGE THE
FAN SPEED. THEY ONLY ADJUST THE TEMPERATURE SETTINGS AND HEAT OUTPUT.
Anti-Freeze Function
The heater includes an Anti-Freeze setting when the dial is set to “LO” on the thermostat
control. This function is to help protect basements and other areas of the home.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF WITH INSTANT TIP-OVER PROTECTION
•This heater is equipped with a Total Safety System with tip-over protection that will shut-off
the heater in an overheat situation.
When the unit is accidentally knocked over, it will shut off. To reset, simply place the heater
in an upright position on a level surface.
•
TIP-OVER SHUT-OFF:
When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut the
heater off. Make sure heater is clear of all obstructions. It can only resume operation when
the user resets the unit. (see instructions below).
•
OVERHEAT SHUT-OFF:
RESET INSTRUCTIONS
•If the Overheat Shut-off is engaged:
1. Turn Control to OFF.
2. Unplug the unit and wait for 5 minutes.
3. Plug the unit in and operate normally.
4. Monitor the heater for anything abnormal. If the problem persists, please unplug the unit and
contact our customer service team.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE
•Make sure the unit is cool to the touch and all internal parts have cooled off before storing the product.
•Try to protect the unit from being tipped or dropped as it can damage the internal parts. If the unit has
been tipped or dropped take caution when using. Do a visual inspection, looking inside the unit for
any broken or loose parts. Gently tip the unit and listen for any loose parts. If all looks good take
caution while plugging the unit into the wall and when starting the unit to look, listen and smell for
anything out of the ordinary. If it sounds strange or smells of burning, immediately power off the unit
and unplug it from the outlet, then contact our customer service.

Make sure the unit is turned OFF, unplugged and the heating elements of heater are cool whenever
you are cleaning the heater.
•When the heater is not in use, the heater should be stored in a dry location, away from possible
damage. The power cord should be stored properly to avoid contact with hot or sharp objects.
•Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
STORAGE
Wipe the exterior surface of the heater occasionally with soft damp cloth (not dripping wet) and dry
the exterior surface before operating the heater.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants that your new heater is free from manufacturing and material
defects for a period of one year from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions and
limitations.
Install and operate this heater in accordance with the installation and operating instructions
furnished with the product at all times. Any unauthorized repair, alteration, willful abuse, accident, or
misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that the purchase was
made through an authorized supplier of the product.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defective in material or
workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal conditions of use and
service, after said defect is confirmed by the manufacturer’s inspection.
The manufacturer may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respect to this warranty by
refunding the wholesale price of the defective part(s).
Any installation, labor, construction, transportation, or other related costs/expenses arising from
defective part(s), repair, replacement, or otherwise of same, will not be covered by this warranty, nor
shall the manufacturer assume responsibility for same.
The owner/user assumes all other risks, if any, including the risk of any direct, indirect or
consequential loss or damage arising out of the use, or inability to use the product, except as

CONFIGURATION
1. Placez l'appareil de chauffage sur une surface ferme et nivelée.
2. Évitez de surcharger votre circuit en évitant d'utiliser d'autres appareils à consommation
énergétique élevée dans la même prise. À 1 500 watts, cet appareil demande 12,5 amps

renverse qui éteindra l'appareil de chauffage dans une situation de surchauffe.

Assurez-vous que l’appareil est ÉTEINT, débranché et que les éléments chauffants de l’appareil
de chauffage sont froids lorsque vous nettoyez l’appareil de chauffage.
•Lorsque l’appareil de chauffage n’est pas utilisé, il devrait être entreposé dans un emplacement
sec, loin des dommages potentiels. Le cordon d’alimentation devrait être entreposé correctement
afin d’éviter tout contact avec des objets chauds ou tranchants.
•Tout autre entretien devrait être effectué par un représentant de service autorisé.
Essuyez occasionnellement la surface extérieure de l'appareil de chauffage avec un linge humide
doux (pas trop humide) et séchez la surface extérieure avant d'utiliser l'appareil de chauffage.
•Assurez-vous que l’appareil est froid au toucher et que toutes les pièces internes ont refroidi
avant d’entreposer le produit.
•Essayez de protéger l’appareil pour qu’il ne soit pas incliné ou pour qu’il ne tombe pas, car cela
pourrait endommager les pièces internes. Si l’appareil a été incliné ou s’il est tombé, faites
preuve de prudence en l’utilisant. Faites une inspection visuelle, regardez à l’intérieur de
l’appareil pour voir s’il y a des pièces endommagées ou libres. Inclinez doucement l’appareil et
écoutez pour identifier les pièces libres.
4. Surveillez l'appareil de chauffage pour vérifier les comportements anormaux. Si le problème persiste,
veuillez débranchez l'appareil et contacter notre équipe du service à la clientèle.

La température de

chaude pour égaler
ou excéder le
réglage du
thermostat.
Pour augmenter la température de la pièce,ajustez
le contrôle du thermostat à un réglage plus élevé
en le tournant dans le sens horaire.
L'appareil de chauffage
crée une odeur
de brûlée.
Vérifiez qui n'y a
aucun matériaux
combustibles dans
les 3 pieds
entourant l'appareil
de chauffage.
S'il y a des matériaux combustibles près de
l'appareil de chauffage, retirez-les. Cela pourrait
être de la poussière qui s'est accumulée sur
l'élément de l'appareil de chauffage. Si c'est le cas,
l'odeur sera légère et temporaire. Si l'odeur
continue, débranchez l'appareil et contactez le
service à la clientèle.
L'appareil de
chauffage pourrait
ne pas être au
niveau, ce qui
activera la
protection de
basculement.
Assurez-vous que l'appareil de chauffage est sur
une surface nivelée et réessayer de l'allumer.

Le fabricant garantit que votre nouvel appareil de chauffage ne comporte pas de défauts de fabrication
ou de matériels pour une période d’un an à partir de la date d’achat, sous réserve des limitations et
des restrictions suivantes.
Installez et utilisez cet appareil de chauffage en conformité avec les instructions d’installation et
d’utilisation fournies avec le produit en tout temps. Toute réparation, modification, utilisation abusive,
accident ou mauvaise utilisation du produit annule cette garantie.
Cette garantie n’est pas transférable et n’est offerte qu’à l’acheteur d’origine, tant que l’achat a été
effectué chez un fournisseur ou un revendeur autorisé de l’article.
La présente garantie est limitée à la réparation ou au remplacement des pièces qui présentent des
défauts de matériaux ou de fabrication. Elle s’applique à condition que les pièces aient fait l’objet
fabricant.
Les frais de transport, de construction, de main-d’œuvre et les frais connexes découlant de la
réparation, du remplacement, des pièces défectueuses ou d’une intervention du même type ne sont
pas couverts par cette garantie et le fabricant n’en assume pas le coût.
Le fabricant peut, à sa discrétion, s’acquitter de toute obligation au titre de cette garantie en
remboursant le prix de gros des pièces défectueuses.
Le propriétaire ou l’utilisateur assume tous les risques, le cas échéant, y compris le risque de pertes
ou dommages directs, indirects ou consécutifs découlant de l’utilisation de l’article ou de l’incapacité
