SAFETY INFORMATION
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,

WARNING
• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• To avoid injury from unexpected starting or electrical shock, DO NOT plug the power cord into a source
of power during unpacking and assembly. The cord must remain unplugged whenever you are adjusting /
assembling the item.
• If any part is missing or damaged, DO NOT attempt to use or plug in the power cord until the missing or
damaged part is correctly replaced. To avoid electric shock, use only identical replacement parts, and when
servicing use double-insulated tools.
• Whenever the item is left operating and unattended, extreme caution is necessary if children or invalids are
nearby.
• Electrical outlet wiring must comply with local building codes and other applicable regulations to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons.
• Disconnect power before attempting any maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock
or personal injury.
• This appliance is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided,
use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible material, such as furniture, pillows, bedding,
papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet from this appliance and keep them from the sides and rear.
• The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
• DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners or similar coverings. DO
NOT route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be
tripped over.
• DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electric shock or fire, or damage the appliance.
• This appliance has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint or
ammable vapors or liquids are used or stored. This item should not be used as a drying rack for clothing.
Christmas stockings or decorations should not be hung in the area of it.
• Use this appliance only as described in the manual. Any other use is NOT recommended by the
manufacturer and may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
CAUTION
• DO NOT use this item if any part of it has been under water. Immediately call a qualified service technician
to inspect the item and replace any part of the electrical system.
• To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on soft
surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• Turn the power off when servicing this appliance. First turn the main power switch to the “OFF” position.
Then remove the electrical plug from the wall outlet.

• There is a thermostat limiter inside the item. When the inner temperature overheats or abnormal heating
occurs, the thermostat protective device would cut off power supply to prevent damage or risk of fire.
• The heaters MUST NOT be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped
or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or
repair.

• A 15-amp, 120-volt, 60 Hz circuit with a properly outlet is required. Preferably, the item will be on a
dedicated circuit as other appliances on the same circuit may cause the circuit breaker to trip or the fuse to
blow when the heater is in operation. The unit comes standard with 6-ft. two-wire cord, exiting from the rear
of the heater. DO NOT exceed the current rating of the current tap. ALWAYS plug heaters directly into a
wall outlet/receptacle. NEVER use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
THIS APPLIANCE HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician to install the proper outlet.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Control Panel Remote Control
To use the remote control, first
remove the plastic tab by gently
pullling it out of remote control.
Controls and Display
The control panel will display the heater setting when the unit power is turned ON. Whichever control icon you
press will ash the current setting of the corresponding function. Press the control icon again to adjust the
setting. Following adjustment of any setting(s), the unit will resume to display the thermostat setting after 3
seconds.
Power function
• When the unit is plugged-in but not in use, “—”will illuminate to indicate that it is in stand-by mode.
• Press the POWER ICON to turn the main power to the unit ON or OFF.
• When the unit is powered ON, the control panel will display the thermostat setting to indicate the
unit has power.
• Functions stored in memory will resume at the last setting.
• When the unit is powered OFF, the fan will continue to blow for a 45 second cool-down cycle prior
to shutting down (a countdown will be displayed).
Thermostat function
• This heater has a thermostat sensor to control the ambient temperature of the surrounding area.
• Press the INCREASE and DECREASE icons to set the temperature (long-hold to scroll quickly).
The thermostat setting range is 60°F (15.5°C) to 85ºF (29.4°C).
Note: This may not exactly match the room thermostat reading as their sensors are located in
different areas.
• Set the thermostat to ON to have the heater run continuously.
Heat settings
• Press the HEATER ICON to ash the current heater setting.
• Press the HEATER ICON again to scroll through the heater settings.
H2: HIGH Heat
The heater will cycle at 1500W power when the ambient temperature is equal or below the
Thermostat setting. Set the Thermostat to ON to have the heater run continuously at 1500W.
H1: LOW Heat
The heater will cycle at 750W power when the ambient temperature is equal or below the Thermostat
setting. Set the Thermostat to ON to have the heater run continuously at 750W.
: ECO Mode
The heater will cycle with optimal efficiency between 1500W and 750W to maintain the Thermostat
setting.

Oscillation function
• Press the OSCILLATION ICON to engage and disengage oscillating louvers.
Note: There is no display readout for the oscillation function. The heat outlet louvers will physically
swing from Left to Right when the function is engaged.
Timer function
• The TIMER can be used to either sleep or wake the heater.
When the POWER FUNCTION is ON:
• Press the TIMER ICON to ash the current SLEEP TIMER setting.
• Press the TIMER ICON again to scroll through the SLEEP TIMER settings (1H, 2H….9H). The
heater will automatically shut-off when the selected time countdown has been reached.
When the POWER FUNCTION is OFF:
• Press the TIMER ICON to ash the current WAKE TIMER setting.
• Press the TIMER ICON again to scroll through the WAKE TIMER settings (1H, 2H….9H). The
heater will automatically turn on when the selected time countdown has been reached. The setting
will be the last one used.
Note: To deactivate the sleep or wake timer, set the timer to 00.
Night function
• Press the NIGHT ICON to turn-off the digital display read-out for reduced brightness during night
use.
• When the NIGHT FUNCTION is engaged, the digital read-out will reduce brightness to 50% after
30 seconds, and completely disappear after 60 seconds. A dim blue icon will appear as a power
indicator.
• Press the NIGHT ICON again to re-illuminate the digital readout.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE
• Make sure the unit is turned OFF, unplugged and the heating elements of heater are cool whenever you are
cleaning the heater.
• Clean the pre-filter using a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment. With the unit off and cool to the touch
hold the vacuum hose against the back panel. The vacuum should remove dust and debris from the mesh
screen.
• Make sure the unit is level and secure when using, periodically check the underside of the base to make
sure is clean and level.
• When the heater is not in use, the heater should be stored in a dry location, away from possible damage.
The power cord should be stored properly to avoid contact with hot or sharp objects.
• Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
STORAGE
• Make sure the unit is cool to the touch and all internal parts have cooled off before storing the product.
• Try to protect the unit from being tipped or dropped as it can damage the internal parts. If the unit has been
tipped or dropped take caution when using. Do a visual inspection, looking inside the unit for any broken or
loose parts. Gently tip the unit and listen for any loose parts. If all looks good take caution while plugging
the unit into the wall and when starting the unit to look, listen and smell for anything out of the ordinary. If
it sounds strange or smells of burning, immediately power off the unit and unplug it from the outlet, then
contact our customer service.
Replacing the Remote-Control Battery
When the remote control (B) stops operating or its range
seems reduced, it is time to replace the battery. Note: The
battery should be removed if the product is to be left unused
for a long time.
1. The battery compartment is located on the back end of the
remote control (B).
2. Press the small tab inward as you slide the battery door
open and remove the old battery.
3. Insert a new CR2025 lithium battery (not included),
checking that the + and - sides of the battery match the
inside of the battery compartment.
4. Re-insert the battery door.

Disposal of Used Battery
A battery may contain hazardous substances that could be endangering the environment and human health.
• This symbol marked on the battery and/or packaging indicates that used
battery shall not be treated as municipal waste. Instead it shall be left at
the appropriate collection point for recycling.
• By ensuring the used battery is disposed of correctly, you will help
prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human
health. The recycling of materials will help to conserve natural resources.
• Do not dispose of battery in fire. Battery may explode or leak.
For more information about collection and recycling of used battery, please
contact your local municipality, your waste disposal service or the
point-of-sale where you purchased this battery.

the overheating outlet(s).

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants that your new heater is free from manufacturing and material defects for a
period of one year from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions and limitations.
Install and operate this heater in accordance with the installation and operating instructions furnished
with the product at all times. Any unauthorized repair, alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of
the product shall nullify this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that the purchase was
made through an authorized supplier of the product.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defective in material or
workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal conditions of use and service,
after said defect is confirmed by the manufacturer’s inspection.
The manufacturer may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respect to this warranty by
refunding the wholesale price of the defective part(s).
Any installation, labor, construction, transportation, or other related costs/expenses arising from
defective part(s), repair, replacement, or otherwise of same, will not be covered by this warranty, nor
shall the manufacturer assume responsibility for same.
The owner/user assumes all other risks, if any, including the risk of any direct, indirect or consequential
loss or damage arising out of the use, or inability to use the product, except as provided by law.
All other warranties – expressed or implied – with respect to the product, its components and
accessories, or any obligations/liabilities on the part of the manufacturer are hereby expressly
excluded.
The manufacturer neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume on its behalf, any other
liabilities with respect to the sale of the product.
The warranties as outlined within this document do not apply to non accessories used in conjunction
with the installation of this product.
This warranty is void if:
1.The heater is subjected to prolonged periods of dampness or condensation.
2.Any unauthorized alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product.
3.You do not have the original receipt of purchase.

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES

• Se requiere un circuito de 15 amperios, 120 voltios, 60 Hz con una toma debidamente. Preferiblemente, el

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Panel de control Control remoto
Para utilizar el control remoto,
primero retire la lengüeta
plástica. Para ello retírela
jalándola suavemente hacia
afuera del control remoto.
Controles y pantalla
El panel de control mostrará la configuración del calentador cuando la unidad esté encendida.
Independientemente del icono que presione en el control, parpadeará la configuración actual de la función
que presionó. Presione el icono de control nuevamente para ajustar la configuración. Después del ajuste de
cualquier configuración, la unidad volverá a mostrar la configuración del termostato después de 3 segundos.
Función de alimentación
• Cuando la unidad está enchufada pero no está en uso, “—” se iluminará para indicar que está en
modo de espera.
• Presione el ÍCONO DE ALIMENTACIÓN para ENCENDER o APAGAR la unidad.
• Cuando la unidad se enciende, el panel de control mostrará la configuración del termostato para
indicar que la unidad tiene energía.
• Las funciones almacenadas en la memoria se reanudarán en la última configuración.
• Cuando la unidad se apaga, el ventilador continuará soplando durante un ciclo de enfriamiento de
45 segundos antes de apagarse (se mostrará una cuenta regresiva).
Función de termostato
• Este calentador tiene un sensor de termostato para controlar la temperatura ambiente del área
circundante.
• Presione los iconos AUMENTAR y DISMINUIR para establecer la temperatura (mantenga el ícono
presionado para desplazarse rápidamente). El rango de ajuste del termostato es de 60 °F (15.5 °C)
a 85 °F (29.4 °C).
Nota: Esto podría no coincidir exactamente con la lectura del termostato de la habitación ya que
sus sensores están ubicados en diferentes áreas.
• Ponga el termostato en ON para que el calentador funcione continuamente.
Ajustes de calefacción
• Presione el ICONO DE CALENTADOR para mostrar la configuración actual del calentador.
• Presione el ICONO DEL CALENTADOR nuevamente para desplazarse por las configuraciones del
calentador.
H2: Calor ALTO
El calentador realizará un ciclo a 1,500 W de potencia cuando la temperatura ambiente sea igual o
inferior a la configuración del termostato. Ponga el termostato en ON para que el calentador funcione
continuamente a 1,500 W.
H1: Calor BAJO
El calentador realizará un ciclo a 750 W de potencia cuando la temperatura ambiente sea igual o
inferior a la configuración del termostato. Ponga el termostato en ON para que el calentador funcione
continuamente a 750 W.
: Modo ECO
El calentador realizará un ciclo con una eficiencia óptima entre 1,500 W y 750 W para mantener la
configuración del termostato.

Función de oscilación
• Presione el ICONO DE OSCILACIÓN para activar y desactivar las rejillas oscilantes.
Nota: La pantalla no muestra una lectura para la función de oscilación. Las rejillas de salida de
calor se moverán de izquierda a derecha cuando se active la función.
Función de temporizador
• El TEMPORIZADOR se puede usar para encender o apagar el calentador automáticamente.
Cuando la FUNCIÓN DE ENCENDIDO está activada:
• Presione el ICONO DE TEMPORIZADOR para mostrar la configuración actual del
TEMPORIZADOR DE APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO.
• Presione nuevamente el ICONO DE TEMPORIZADOR para desplazarse por las configuraciones
del TEMPORIZADOR DE APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO (1H, 2H… 9H). El calentador se apagará
automáticamente cuando se haya alcanzado la cuenta regresiva del tiempo seleccionado.
Cuando la FUNCIÓN DE ENCENDIDO está desactivada:
• Presione el ICONO DE TEMPORIZADOR para mostrar la configuración actual del
TEMPORIZADOR DE ENCENDIDO AUTOMÁTICO.
• Presione nuevamente el ICONO DE TEMPORIZADOR para desplazarse por las configuraciones
del TEMPORIZADOR DE ENCENDIDO AUTOMÁTICO (1H, 2H… 9H). El calentador se encenderá
automáticamente cuando se haya alcanzado la cuenta regresiva del tiempo seleccionado. La
configuración será la última que se usó.
Nota: Para desactivar el temporizador de encendido y apagado automático, ajuste el temporizador a
00.
Función de noche
• Presione el ICONO NOCHE para apagar la lectura de la pantalla digital y reducir el brillo durante el
uso por la noche.
• Cuando la FUNCIÓN NOCHE está activada, la lectura digital reducirá el brillo al 50% después
de 30 segundos, y se apagará por completo después de 60 segundos. Aparecerá un ícono azul
oscuro como indicador de encendido.
• Presione el ÍCONO NOCHE nuevamente para volver a iluminar la lectura digital.

MANTENIMIENTO
• Asegúrese de que la unidad esté APAGADA, desenchufada y los elementos del calentador estén fríos cada
vez que limpie el calentador.
• Limpie el pre-filtro usando una aspiradora con un accesorio de manguera. Con la unidad apagada y fría al
tacto, sujete la manguera de la aspiradora contra el panel posterior. La aspiradora debe retirar el polvo y los
residuos de la pantalla de malla.
• Asegúrese de que la unidad esté nivelada y fija cuando esté en uso; revise periódicamente la parte inferior
de la base para asegurarse de que está limpia y nivelada.
• Cuando el calentador no esté en uso, se debe guardar en un lugar seco y lejos de posibles daños. El cable
de alimentación se debe guardar adecuadamente para evitar el contacto con objetos calientes o afilados.
• Cualquier otro servicio lo debe realizar un representante de servicio autorizado.
ALMACENAMIENTO
• Asegúrese de que la unidad esté fría al tacto y todas las piezas internas se hayan enfriado antes de
almacenar el producto.
• Intente evitar que la unidad se voltee o caiga ya que puede dañar las partes internas. Si la unidad se ha
volteado o caído, tenga cuidado al usarla. Realice una inspección visual, observando dentro de la unidad
en busca de piezas rotas o sueltas. Incline la unidad lentamente y escuche si hay piezas sueltas. Si todo
se ve bien, tenga cuidado al conectarla al tomacorriente y al encenderla, buscando, escuchando y oliendo
cualquier cosa fuera de lo común. Si suena extraño o huele a quemado, apague la unidad inmediatamente
y desconéctela del tomacorriente, y póngase en contacto con nuestro servicio al cliente.
Reemplazo de las baterías del control remoto
Cuando el control remoto (B) deje de funcionar o el rango
se reduzca, es momento de reemplazar las baterías. Nota:
se deben retirar las baterías si el producto no se va a utilizar
durante un período prolongado.
1. El compartimiento de las baterías está ubicado en el
extremo posterior del control remoto (B).
2. Presione la lengüeta hacia adentro mientras desliza la
cubierta de la batería y retire las baterías gastadas.
3. Inserte una nueva batería de litio CR2025 (no se incluye).
Asegúrese de que los lados + y – coincidan con el interior
del compartimiento de la batería.
4. Vuelva a insertar la cubierta de la batería.

Eliminación de las baterías usadas
Una batería puede contener sustancias peligrosas que podrían poner en peligro el ambiente y la salud de las

• Este símbolo marcado en la batería o el paquete indica que la batería
usada no se debe considerar parte de los residuos municipales. En
cambio, debe eliminarse en el punto de recolección apropiado para el
reciclaje.
• Al asegurar una eliminación correcta de las baterías usadas, ayudará
a evitar posibles consecuencias negativas para el ambiente y la salud
de las personas. El reciclaje de materiales ayudará a conservar los
recursos naturales.
• No incinere las baterías. Estas podrían explotar o presentar pérdidas.
Para obtener más información sobre la recolección y el reciclaje de las
baterías usadas, póngase en contacto con la municipalidad local, el
servicio de eliminación de desechos o el punto de venta donde compró la
batería.

Operación normal. Esto es normal para un aparato calentador ya que requiere
más corriente para funcionar. Inspeccione las conexiones

de que el enchufe se ajuste correctamente a la toma.
Durante el uso, inspeccione frecuentemente el enchufe y
el tomacorriente para determinar si está CALIENTE; si es
así, deje de usar el aparato y consulte con un electricista
calificado para inspeccionar o cambiar los tomacorrientes
con sobrecalentamiento.
El control remoto no
funciona.
Pilas débiles o agotadas. Reemplace con 1 batería CR-2025 (consulte la página 19
para obtener más información).
La señal del control
remoto es débil y
