•A 15-amp, 120-volt, 60 Hz circuit with a properly grounded outlet is required. Preferably, the item
will be on a dedicated circuit as other appliances on the same circuit may cause the circuit breaker
to trip or the fuse to blow when the heater is in operation. The unit comes standard with 6-ft.
•This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown below. See illustration for
grounding instruction. An adapter as shown at C is available for connecting three-blade grounding
type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be
connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not
be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.

Remote Control
To use the remote
control, first remove
the plastic tab by
gently pullling it out
of remote control (B).
POWER ICON
•Press the POWER ICON to turn the main power to the unit ON or OFF
Note: The control panel is a touch screen. It will appear black. Touch the control panel once to
“wakeup” the controls. This will cause the controls to light up. Which ever icon you touch will
display it’s last setting when you do this. At this time you can press the corresponding icon to
the function you would like to adjust. After 5 seconds the touch screen will fade to black.
•When the unit is plugged in without any functions running the power icon will glow red
•When the unit is powered ON the POWER ICON will glow orange.
•When the power is ON and no other functions have been selected the control icon lights will
fade after 8 seconds. To “wakeup” the icons so they glow, touch any of the icons once.
TEMPERATURE ICON
•Press the TEMPERATURE ICON to adjust the heater’s thermostat , this will set the target
room temperature. It will return to display the current room temperature after 8 seconds.
•If the unit is powered OFF, you can press the TEMPERATURE ICON to power ON the unit.
The emberbed will glow at the lowest brightness setting unless a different setting was saved
in the memory.
• Press the TEMPERATURE ICON again to scroll up through the temperature settings which are:
Fahrenheit: 65, 70, 75, 80, HI, OF
Celsius: 18, 21, 24, 27, HI, OF
•Set the temperature to “HI” to have the heater run continually.
•Once you set the temperature it will show on the LED readout for 8 seconds then the LED
readout will switch to display the ambient room temperature.
•Hold down the TEMPERTURE ICON for 5 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
A small “F” or “C” will display next the temperature.
•Press and hold the TEMPERATURE ICON for 10 seconds to disengage the heater function.
•When you scroll to set the temperature to OF, the oscillation function when also power off.
The fan will run for 20 seconds to cool the heating elements then turn off.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TIMER ICON
•Press the TIMER ICON to set the countdown timer for the unit’s main power.
• Note: The timer function requires the main power to be on.
•Press the TIMER ICON to scroll up through the timer settings which are:
30, 1H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, 8H, 9H, OF. (30 means 30 minutes)
•The LED readout will display the timer setting for 10 seconds then will switch back to the
current room temperature.
•When the timer reaches the last minute the LED readout will automatically activate and show
the remaining time counting down in seconds. When the timer reaches zero it will turn OFF
the main power and will maintain the last temperature setting in memory.
AIRFLOW ICON
•Press the AIRFLOW ICON to adjust the fan speed, this only works without the heat as fan
only function.
•Press the AIRFLOW ICON to scroll up through the fan speeds which are:
F1, F2, F3 (F1 = Low, F2 = Medium, F3 = High)
Press the POWER ICON to turn off the fan, this will also power off the oscillation if that
function is activated.
•When the fan is running, you can press the HEATER ICON to resume the heat function at the
previous set temperature, the fan speed will automatically set to the highest setting. Then
press the AIRFLOW ICON the heat will turn off and the fan will switch speeds to the previous
setting.
OSCILLATION ICON
•Press the OSCILLATION ICON to turn on the oscillation function , press it again to turn it off.
•The oscillation function will work with both the heater and the air flow functions. Either of these
functions must be powered on before the oscillation function will work.
•The fan body will oscillate 90 degrees.
MEMORY FUNCTION
•This unit has a memory function that allows you to turn off the main power and retain all the
other function settings (excluding the timer function).
•When the unit’s main power is OFF, press the POWER ICON once on the control panel or on
the remote control to power the unit ON and “wakeup” the individual function to resume at last
setting. Press the individual function icons again to adjust them. When the unit is powered off
next it retain the new setting in memory.
•When the unit is powered ON the LED readout will show the last temperature setting if a
temperature setting was not saved.
•To reset the memory, unplug the unit from the wall for 5 seconds.
TIP-OVER SWITCH FUNCTION
When the heater suddenly push over for about 15 to 30 degree that the machine will
immediately shut down. Move back the tower heater to normal position and press the
POWER ICON , the unit will return normal.

MAINTENANCE
•Make sure the unit is cool to the touch and all internal parts have cooled off before storing the product.

•Try to protect the unit from being tipped or dropped as it can damage the internal parts. If the unit has
been tipped or dropped take caution when using. Do a visual inspection, looking inside the unit for
any broken or loose parts. Gently tip the unit and listen for any loose parts. If all looks good take
caution while plugging the unit into the wall and when starting the unit to look, listen and smell for
anything out of the ordinary. If it sounds strange or smells of burning, immediately power off the unit
and unplug it from the outlet, then contact our customer service.

Make sure the unit is turned OFF, unplugged and the heating elements of heater are cool whenever
you are cleaning the heater.
•Make sure the unit is level and secure when using, periodically check the underside of the base to
make sure is clean and level.
•When the heater is not in use, the heater should be stored in a dry location, away from possible
damage. The power cord should be stored properly to avoid contact with hot or sharp objects.
•Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
STORAGE
Replacing the Remote Control Battery
When the remote control (B) stops operating or its
range seems reduced, it is time to replace the
battery. Note: The battery should be removed if the
product is to be left unused for a long time.
1. The battery compartment is located on the back end
of the remote control (B).
2. Press the small tab inward as you slide the battery
door open and remove the old battery.
3. Insert a new CR2025 lithium battery (not included),
checking that the + and - sides of the battery match
the inside of the battery compartment.
4. Re-insert the battery door.

Disposal of Used Battery
A battery may contain hazardous substances that could be endangering to environment and
human health.
• This symbol marked on the battery and/or packaging indicates that used battery
shall not be treated as municipal waste. Instead it shall be left at the appropriate
collection point for recycling.
• By ensuring the used battery is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
potential negative consequences for the environment and human health. The
recycling of materials will help to conserve natural resources.
For more information about collection and recycling of used batteries, please contact your local
municipality, your waste disposal service or the point of sale where you purchased this point.
Clean the pre-filter using a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment. With the unit off and cool
to the touch hold the vacuum hose against the back panel. The vacuum should remove most
dust and debris from the mesh screen. For a more robust cleaning you can remove the
pre-filter. Remove the screw securing the pre-filter to the main body. Then tip it out and away
from the body. Use the vacuum with the hose attachment to clean both sides of the pre-filter
before re-installing it.（see Diagram 1 on page 9）

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants that your new heater is free from manufacturing and material
defects for a period of one year from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions and
limitations.
Install and operate this heater in accordance with the installation and operating instructions
furnished with the product at all times. Any unauthorized repair, alteration, willful abuse, accident, or
misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that the purchase was
made through an authorized supplier of the product.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defective in material or
workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal conditions of use and
service, after said defect is confirmed by the manufacturer’s inspection.
The manufacturer may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respect to this warranty by
refunding the wholesale price of the defective part(s).
Any installation, labor, construction, transportation, or other related costs/expenses arising from
defective part(s), repair, replacement, or otherwise of same, will not be covered by this warranty, nor
shall the manufacturer assume responsibility for same.
The owner/user assumes all other risks, if any, including the risk of any direct, indirect or
consequential loss or damage arising out of the use, or inability to use the product, except as
provided by law.
All other warranties – expressed or implied –with respect to the product, its components and
accessories, or any obligations/liabilities on the part of the manufacturer are hereby expressly
excluded.
The manufacturer neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume on its behalf, any other
liabilities with respect to the sale of the product.
The warranties as outlined within this document do not apply to non accessories used in conjunction
with the installation of this product.

•Cet appareil, lorsqu’il est installé, doit être mis à terre en conformité avec les normes locales, avec les
normes électriques canadiennes CSA C22.1, ou, si aux États-Unis, suivez les normes locales et les
normes électriques nationales ANSI/NFPA N0.70.
•Il y a un limiteur thermostat dans l’article. Lorsque la température interne surchauffe ou qu’un
chauffage anormal survient, le dispositif thermostat protecteur coupe la source d’alimentation pour
prévenir les dommages et les risques d’incendie.
•Les appareils de chauffage NE DOIVENT PAS être situés immédiatement sous une prise de courant.
•N’utilisez aucun appareil de chauffage ayant un cordon d’alimentation ou une prise abimée ou après
un mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil de chauffage, ou après qu’il ait subi une chute ou qu’il ait été
endommagé de quelconque façon. Dans ce cas, jetez l’appareil de chauffage, ou retournez-les à un
centre de service autorisé pour un examen et/ou une réparation.

Un circuit 15-amp, 120-volt, 60 Hz avec une prise mise à terre est requise. Préférablement, l’article
devrait être sur un circuit dédié étant donné que les autres appareils sur le même circuit pourraient
déclencher le disjoncteur ou faire sauter le fusible lorsque l’appareil de chauffage est en cours
d’utilisation. L’unité vient avec un fil d’alimentation de 6 pieds, sortant de l’arrière de l’appareil de
chauffage. NE dépassez PAS la capacité de courant de votre prise. Branchez TOUJOURS les
appareils de chauffage directement dans une prise murale/réceptacle. N’utilisez JAMAIS une
extension ou une barre d’alimentation

L’appareil de chauffage est conçu pour du courant 120 volts. Le cordon a une fiche tel qu’affiché
ci-dessous. Voir l’illustration pour les instructions de mise à terre. Un adaptateur, tel qu’affiché en C,
est disponible pour brancher des fiches à trois mèches dans un réceptacle à deux mèches. La
cosse de mise à terre sortant de l’adaptateur doit être branchée à une mise à terre permanente
comme une boîte de prise mise à terre correctement. L’adaptateur ne devrait pas être utilisé si un
réceptacle à trois mèches est disponible.

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION
Télécommande
Pour utiliser la
télécommande,
commencez par retirer
l’onglet de plastique en
le retirant doucement
de la télécommande (B).
ICÔNE ALIMENTATION
•Appuyez sur l’ICÔNE MISE EN MARCHE (POWER) pour allumer (ON) ou éteindre (OFF)
l’alimentation de l’unité.
•Lorsque l’appareil est branché sans fonction activée l’icône d’alimentation sera rouge.
•Lorsque l'appareil est allumé le BOUTON D'ALIMENTATION sera bleu.
•Lorsque l'alimentation est allumée et qu'aucune autre fonction n'a été sélectionnée, les
lumières des icônes de contrôle s'éteindront automatiquement après 8 secondes. Pour
« réveiller » les icônes de sorte qu'ils s'allument, touchez un des icônes une fois.

Note : Le panneau de contrôle est un écran tactile. Il apparaîtra noir. Touchez le panneau de
contrôle une fois pour « réveiller » les contrôles. Cela allumera les contrôles. L'icône que vous
toucherez affichera son dernier réglage lorsque vous faites cela. À ce moment, vous pouvez
appuyez sur l'icône correspondant à la fonction que vous voulez ajuster. Après 5 secondes
l'écran tactile redeviendra noir.

ICÔNE TEMPÉRATURE
•Appuyez sur l'ICÔNE TEMPÉRATURE pour ajuster le thermostat de l'appareil de
chauffage, cela ajustera la température visée de la pièce. Après 8 secondes, la
température de la pièce actuelle se réaffichera.
•Si l'unité est éteinte, vous pouvez appuyer sur l'ICÔNE TEMPÉRATURE pour allumer
l'unité. Le lit de braise rougira à sa luminosité la plus faible sauf si un réglage différent a
été enregistré dans la mémoire.
•Appuyez une fois de plus sur l'ICÔNE TEMPÉRATURE pour défiler à travers les réglages
de température, qui sont :
•Réglez la température à ÉLEVÉ (HI) pour que l'appareil de chauffage fonctionne en continu.
•Une fois que vous réglez la température, elle apparaitra sur l'écran DEL pendant 8
secondes, ensuite l'écran DEL affichera la température ambiante.
•Maintenez l'ICÔNE TEMPÉRATURE enfoncé pendant 5 secondes pour choisir entre
Fahrenheit et Celsius. Un petit « F » ou « C » s'affichera à côté du réglage de la
température.
•Appuyez et maintenez l'ICÔNE TEMPÉRATURE enfoncé pendant 10 secondes pour
désactiver la fonction chauffage. Appuyez et maintenez l'icône température enfoncé
pendant 10 secondes pour réactiver la fonction chauffage.
•Lorsque vous défilez pour régler la température à OF, la fonction oscillation sera
aussi éteinte. Le ventilateur fonctionnera pendant 20 secondes pour refroidir les éléments
chauffants et puis s'éteindra.

MODE D’EMPLOI
BOUTON MINUTERIE
• Appuyez sur le BOUTON MINUTERIE (TIMER) pour configurer un décompte pour l’alimentation
de l’unité.
Note : La fonction minuterie requiert que l’alimentation principale soit allumée.
•
• Lorsque la minuterie est activée, un petit ICÔNE MINUTERIE apparaîtra à côté de l’affichage
LED.
• L'écran DEL affichera le réglage de la minuterie pendant 10 secondes et reviendra ensuite à
la température ambiante.
• Lorsqu’il ne reste qu’une minute, l’affichage LED s’activera automatiquement et affichera le
temps restant, en secondes. Lorsque la minuterie atteint zéro, elle éteindra l’alimentation et
gardera le dernier réglage de température en mémoire.
• L’unité comporte une fonction mémoire qui vous permet d’éteindre l’ALIMENTATION et de r
etenir tous les réglages des fonctions (excluant la fonction MINUTERIE).
• Lorsque l’alimentation de l’unité est éteinte, appuyez sur le BOUTON MISE EN MARCHE
(POWER) une fois sur le panneau de contrôle du poêle ou sur la télécommande pour allumer
l’unité et « réveiller » la fonction individuelle à son dernier réglage. Appuyez sur les icônes des
fonctions individuelles une fois de plus pour les ajuster. Lorsque l’appareil est éteint, il retiendra
le nouveau réglage en mémoire.
• Lorsque l'unité est allumée, l'afficheur DEL affichera le dernier réglage de température. Si un
réglage de température n'a pas été sauvegardé.
• Pour redémarrer la mémoire, débranchez l’appareil du mur pendan

ICÔNE VENTILATION
• Appuyez sur l'ICÔNE VENTILATION pour ajuster la vitesse du ventilateur, ceci fonctionne
seulement sans le chauffage ,comme fonction de ventilation uniquement.
• Appuyez sur l'ICÔNE VENTILATION pour défiler à travers les vitesses du ventilateur, qui
sont : F1, F2, F3 (F1 = Bas, F2 = Moyen, F3 = Élevé)
Appuyez sur l'ICÔNE ALIMENTATION pour éteindre le ventilateur, ceci éteindra aussi
l'oscillation si cette fonction est activée
• Lorsque le ventilateur est en activé, vous pouvez appuyer sur l'ICÔNE CHAUFFAGE pour
réactiver la fonction de chauffage à la température précédemment réglée, la vitesse du
ventilateur se règlera automatiquement au réglage le plus élevé. Ensuite, appuyez sur
L'ICÔNE VENTILATION et le chauffage s'éteindra et le ventilateur reviendra au réglage de
vitesse précédemment réglé.
• Appuyez sur l'ICÔNE OSCILLATION pour activer la fonction oscillation, appuyez sur l'icône
une fois de plus pour l'éteindre.
• La fonction oscillation fonctionnera avec les fonctions chauffage et ventilation. Une de ces
fonctions doit être activée avant que la fonction oscillation puisse fonctionner.
• Le corps du ventilateur oscillera de 90 degrés.
• Lorsque l'appareil de chauffage dépasse environ 15 à 30 degrés, la machine s'éteindra
automatiquement. Replacez l'appareil de chauffage à sa position normale, et appuyez sur
l'ICÔNE ALIMENTATAION, l'appareil retournera à la normale.
ICÔNE OSCILLATION

•• Appuyez sur l'ICÔNE MINUTERIE (TIMER) pour défiler à travers les réglages de la minuterie,
qui sont : 30, 1H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, 8H, 9H, OF. (30 signifie 30 minutes)

• Assurez-vous que l’appareil est ÉTEINT, débranché et que les éléments chauffants de l’appareil
de chauffage sont froids lorsque vous nettoyez l’appareil de chauffage.
• Nettoyez le préfiltre en utilisant un aspirateur avec un embout. Tandis que l’appareil est éteint
et froid au toucher, tenez l’embout de l’aspirateur contre le panneau arrière. L’aspirateur devrait
retirer la poussière et les débris du grillage métallique. Pour un nettoyage plus robuste, vous
pouvez retirer le préfiltre. Retirez la vis fixant le préfiltre à l’appareil. Ensuite, inclinez-le pour le
sortir de l’appareil. Utilisez l’aspirateur avec l’embout pour laver les deux côtés du préfiltre avant
de le réinstaller. (voir le Diagramme 1 à la page 9)
• Assurez-vous que l'unité est au niveau lorsque vous l'utilisez, vérifiez régulièrement le dessous
de la base pour vous assurer qu'elle est propre et nivelée.
• Lorsque l’appareil de chauffage n’est pas utilisé, il devrait être entreposé dans un emplacement
sec, loin des dommages potentiels. Le cordon d’alimentation devrait être entreposé correctement
afin d’éviter tout contact avec des objets chauds ou tranchants.
• Tout autre entretien devrait être effectué par un représentant de service autorisé.
• Assurez-vous que l’appareil est froid au toucher et que toutes les pièces internes ont refroidi
avant d’entreposer le produit.
• La télécommande peut être entreposée dans la poignée de transport située au sommet de
l'appareil sur le coté arrière (voir le diagramme 2 à la page 9).
• Le cordon peut être enroulé autour de la base pour le raccourcir ou l'entreposer.(voir le diagramme
3 à la page 9)

Remplacement de la pile de la télécommande
Lorsque la télécommande (B) ne fonctionne plus ou si
sa portée semble réduite, il est temps de remplacer la
pile. Remarque : Retirez la pile si vous ne prévoyez
pas utiliser la télécommande pendant une période
prolongée.

4. Remettez le couvercle du compartiment à pile.
• Essayez de protéger l’appareil pour qu’il ne soit pas incliné ou pour qu’il ne tombe pas, car cela
pourrait endommager les pièces internes. Si l’appareil a été incliné ou s’il est tombé, faites
preuve de prudence en l’utilisant. Faites une inspection visuelle, regardez à l’intérieur de
l’appareil pour voir s’il y a des pièces endommagées ou libres. Inclinez doucement l’appareil et
écoutez pour identifier les pièces libres. Si tout semble correct, faites attention en branchant
l’appareil dans le mur et lorsque démarrez l’appareil, écoutez et sentez pour constater s’il y a
quelque chose qui sort de l’ordinaire. Si l’appareil produit un son ou une odeur étrange ou de
brûlé, éteignez immédiatement l’appareil et débranchez-le du mur, et contactez notre service à
la clientèle.
