1.1 Informazioni di sicurezza
1.1.1 rotezione da scariche elettriche
• Togliere l’alimentazione prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione all’interno dell’apparecchiatura.
• Non utilizzate l’apparecchiatura in assenza di una connessione di terra.
• Prima di connettere l’apparecchio alla rete elettrica, verificate la compatibilità di tensione e frequenza.
• Non maneggiate il prodotto con mani bagnate o in presenza di acqua.
• Controllate periodicamente che il cavo di alimentazione non sia schiacciato o danneggiato.
• Rivolgersi ad un tecnico qualificato per qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione ordinaria non descritta nel pre-
sente manuale.
1.1.2 Installazione
• Fissate il proiettore con viti, ganci o altri supporti in grado di sostenerne il peso.
• Le operazioni di installazione dell’apparecchiatura devono essere eseguite da personale competente e qualificato.
1.1.3 rotezione dagli incendi
• Idoneo ad essere installato su superfici normalmente infiammabili.
• Non installate l’apparecchio in locali in cui la temperatura ambiente supera i 40° (104°F).
1.1.4 rotezione da solidi e liquidi
Il proiettore rientra nella classificazione di apparecchio con grado di protezione IP65
1.2 Condizioni di garanzia
• L’apparecchio è garantito per 12 mesi dalla data di acquisto contro difetti di fabbricazione e dei materiali che
lo compongono.
• Sono esclusi dalla garanzia guasti dovuti ad imperizia o ad un uso non appropriato dell’apparecchio.
• Sono esclusi dalla garanzia i materiali di consumo e le parti esterne quali maniglie, interruttori, e parti asportabili.
• La garanzia decade in qualsiasi momento qualora l’apparecchio sia stato manomesso o aperto da personale
non autorizzato.
• La garanzia non prevede la sostituzione dell’apparecchio.
• Per informazioni o assistenza sui prodotti sono necessari il numero di serie ed il modello dell’apparecchio.
1.3 Normative
• L’apparecchio soddisfa i requisiti della normativa EN60598-1 EN60598-2-17.
• L’apparecchio soddisfa i requisiti della direttiva 2002/95/CE (RoHS).

1.0 Introduzione

3.1 Collegamento elettrico
Apertura del controller:
- Togliete il coperchio principale rimuovendo le 4 viti di fissaggio “B”.
Inserite il cavo di alimentazione attraverso il pressacavo e collegatelo
alla morsettiera “C” rispettando la polarità indicata (GND, Fase, Neu-
tro).
Al fine di assicurare l’impermeabilità al prodotto, accertarsi che il dado
del pressacavo sia adeguatamente stretto.
Per il collegamento alla rete elettrica è necessario un cavo 3 poli x 1,5
mm2 di sezione minima.
Collegate alla rete facendo attenzione alla tensione di alimentazione
(210/240V - 50/60Hz).
La linea di alimentazione deve essere protetta mediante corretta
messa a terra.
3.2 Collegamento del cavo di segnale DMX
Dopo aver inserito il cavo di segnale DMX attraverso il passacavo, collegatelo al morsetto “D” rispettando la po-
larità indicata sull’etichetta (GND, DATA-, DATA+).
Al fine di assicurare l’impermeabilità al prodotto, accertarsi che il dado del pressacavo sia adeguatamente
stretto.
Il segnale DMX deve essere collegato utilizzando un cavo schermato progettato per congegni RS-485, 2 poli +
schermatura (Schermatura: GND - Polo1: Data+ - Polo2: Data-).

4.1 Imballo
Controllate attentamente il contenuto del cartone e, in caso di danni al prodotto, contattate il Vs. trasportatore.
Nell’imballaggio del presente proiettore sono contenuti i seguenti prodotti:

4.2 Trasporto
La scatola di cartone non è progettata per essere usata più di una volta perciò si raccomanda vivamente l’uso
di uno dei nostri flight case per trasportare l’apparecchiatura.
5.1 Funzionalità generali
64 canali DMX impostabili•
8 preset: 8 configurazioni DMX predefinite; ogni preset è totalmente configurabile dall'utente•
4 programmi, ciascuno di 16 scene: 4 programmi preimpostati sul dispositivo; possibilità di configurazione•
dei singoli programmi e delle singole scene
Programmazione Oraria: possibilità di programmazione di 8 fasce orarie; per ogni fascia si può stabilire la•
funzionalità desiderata: canali spenti, oppure un preset o un programma e si può comandare il relé spento
o acceso
Controllo emoto via USB: è possibile aggiornare scene e preset da un apposito programma su PC•
5.2 Funzionamento
L'accensione e lo spegnimento del dispositivo si effettuano agendosull'alimentazione. All'accensione, il disposi-
tivo entra in una delle modalità seguenti:
Una modalità è selezionata quando l'icona relativa risulta accesa sul display e le altre icone risultano invece
spente. La modalità è la stessa dell'ultima volta che si è spento il dispositivo.
Per cambiare la modalità, utilizzare i seguenti tasti:

• La responsabilità di Griven S.r.l. cessa all’atto della consegna del materiale al vettore: reclami per eventuali
danni dovuti al trasporto dovranno essere indirizzati direttamente al corriere.
• Si accettano reclami entro e non oltre i 7 giorni dal ricevimento della merce.
• Eventuali resi di materiale dovranno essere autorizzati da Griven S.r.l. ed inviati completi della documentazione
fiscale necessaria.

5.2.3 Modalità orologio
Viene eseguita la programmazione giornaliera del dispositivo, ovvero a seconda dell'ora corrente e delle im-
postazioni effettuate tramite menu, esegue un preset o un programma o comanda i canali a zero, e attiva o
disattiva il rele. Non è possibile agire manualmente sul relé in questa modalità.
5.2.4 Modalità OFF
ella modalità OFF i canali DMX vengono impostati al valore di 0.

5.2.5 Descrizione del menu
Il menu è accessibile mediante lunga pressione del tasto . Ogni voce di menu può essere un sottomenu
(identificato con una freccia sulla parte destra del display), un lancio di azioni (anche qui si usa una freccia) o
un campo di impostazione (in questo caso compare un numero o una opzione sulla parte destra del display).
All'interno del menu il funzionamento dei tasti è il seguente:
Per modificare un valore, è necessario premere ENTER in corrispondenza del valore stesso e agire quindi con i tasti
seguenti:

CANALE 1....CANALE 64: valore dmx del canale 1...64; il massimo numero di canali visualizzati è in•

O ZIONI (menu): attivazione/disattivazione di una serie di funzionalità opzionali3

GIORNO: giorno della settimana corrente•
DATA: giorno del mese, mese, anno correnti•
ORA: ore, minuti correnti•
OROLOGIO (menu): entra nella programmazione oraria del dispositivo7
ZONA 1...ZONA X (menu) (X è il numero di fasce orarie in cui si vogliono dividere le 24 ore): consente•
l'impostazione di una zona oraria. Il massimo numero di zone è 8.
DALLE: indica l'ora di inizio della fascia oraria scelta. La zona 1 inizia a mezzanotte, le altre zone ini-•
ziano alla fine della zona precedente. Campo non impostabile.
ALLE: impostare l'ora di fine della fascia oraria scelta. Se l'ora di fine viene impostata 23:59 significa•
che quella in fase di modifica è l'ultima zona della giornata. Ad esempio, se si creano zone inquesto
modo:
ZO A 1: dalle 00.00 alle 10.00•
ZO A 2: dalle 10.00 (fine della zona 1) alle 20.00•
ZO A 3: dalle 20.00 (fine della zona 2) alle 23.59•
il numero totale di fasce orarie della giornata (indicato con X poco più sopra) sarà 3. Se si imposta•
nell'ultima zona (in questo caso la 3) un'ora di fine diversa da 23:59 (ad es. 21.00), verrà automatica-
mente creata una nuova zona (la numero 4, che andrà dalle 21.00 alle 23.59).
MODALITA': indica che modalità deve eseguire il dispositivo durante la fascia oraria specificata. Le•
modalità possibili sono: PRESET1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,PROGRAMMA1,2,3,4,OFF.
RELE: indica se nella fascia oraria specificata si vuole il rele acceso o spento•

5.3 Collegamento del DMX controller al PC
E’ possibile aggiornare programmi e preset da un apposito software su PC.
Per l'installazione del software è necessario effettuare queste operazioni PRIMA di collegare il centralino al PC:
scaricare il file .zip dala pagina dell’AD4126 sul sito GRIVEN e decomprimerlo in una nuova cartella•

entrare nella cartella e lanciare setup.exe•
seguire le istruzioni (basta dare una sequenza di "O " per l'installazione standard)•
l'installazione termina quando compare la finestra "FTDI drivers successfully installed"•
Per lanciare il programma:
Start - programmi - DLC904 Programmer - DLC904 Programmer•
Connettere il dispositivo al PC utilizzando un cavo mini-USB (non
incluso) e collegarlo alla porta “1”.

Per assicurare la massima funzionalità. si raccomanda di attenersi alle istruzioni riportate qui di seguito.
6.1 Controlli periodici
• Controllate i collegamenti elettrici ed in particolare la messa a terra ed il cavo di alimentazione.
• Controllate che il dispositivo non sia danneggiato meccanicamente ed eventualmente sostituite le parti de-
teriorate.
Tutti i componenti del dispositivo sono disponibili come parti di ricambio presso i rivenditori Griven.
Le viste esplose, lo schema elettrico e il diagramma elettronico sono disponibili su richiesta.
Per facilitare il lavoro del centro di assistenza ricordate di specificare il numero di serie ed il modello del proiet-
tore di cui avete richiesto i ricambi.
La direttiva Europea 2002/96/CE sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettroniche (RAEE), prevede che gli apparecchi
illuminanti non debbano essere smaltiti nel normale flusso dei rifiuti solidi urbani. Gli apparecchi dismessi debbono
essere raccolti separatamente per ottimizzare il tasso di recupero e riciclaggio dei materiali che li compongono
ed impedire potenziali danni per la salute e l’ambiente.
Il simbolo del cestino barrato è riportato su tutti i prodotti per ricordare gli obblighi di raccolta separata.
Per ulteriori informazioni sulla corretta dismissione delle apparecchiature, i detentori potranno rivolgersi
al servizio pubblico preposto o ai rivenditori.

1.1 Safety information
1.1.1 rotecting against electric shock
• Disconnect the unit from mains supply before servicing it or performing any other action.
• Always ground/earth the unit electrically.
• Before connecting the unit to power supplies, verify that operating voltage and frequency are compatible.
• Do not handle the unit with wet hands or in the presence of water.
• Check regularly that the power supply cable is not damaged or crushed.
• Apply to a qualified technician for any regular maintenance action not described in this manual.
1.1.2 Installation
• Fix the unit with screws, hooks or any other support able to bear the weight of the unit itself.
• The unit installation actions must be performed by a qualified staff.
1.1.3 rotection against burns and fire
• Suitable to be installed onto normally inflammable surfaces.
• The unit is not to be installed in places where the ambient temperature exceeds 40° (104°F).
1.1.4 Weather protection
The unit is classified as device with an IP65 weather protection rate.
1.2 Warranty conditions
• Warranty: 12 months after date of purchase against manufacturing faults and faulty materials which the unit
consists of.
• The warranty excludes faults due to incorrect use or misuse of the unit.
• The warranty excludes consumables and external components such as handles, switches and/or removable parts.
• The warranty will be immediately void whenever the unit is tampered or serviced by unqualified or unauthorised
staff.
• The warranty does not include unit replacement.
• Serial number and model (reference code) of the unit must be given together with any warranty, information
and assistance claim.
1.3 Compliance
• Product in compliance with EN60598-1 EN60598-2-17.

3.1 Electrical Connection
Opening the controller:
- Remove the main cover, by untightening the 4 fixing screws “B”;
Fit the supply cable through the cable clip and connect it to the jun-
ction-box “C”. Make sure that GND, Phase and Neutral polarities are
respected.
Ensure that the cable clip screw nut is properly tightened, so that the
unit will be dust and water proofed.
A 3 poles x 1.5 mm² (minimum section) is needed for connection to
mains supply.
Connect the unit to power supply (210/240Vac - 50/60Hz).
Make sure than mains supply is correctly grounded.
3.2 DMX signal cable connection
Fit the DMX signal cable through the cable clip and connect it to the junction-box “D”. Make sure that the pola-
rity which is written on the label is respected (GND, DATA-, DATA+).
Ensure that the cable clip screw nut is properly tightened, so that the unit will be dust and water proofed.

4.1 Packaging
Check carefully the content of the box and, in case of damage, contact your forwarder immediately. The fol-
lowing items are included in the box of this unit:

4.2 Transport
The carton box has not been designed to be used more than once, therefore, it is recommended to use one of
our flight cases to transport the unit.
5.1 General features
64 DMx channels to be set up•
8 preset: 8 preset DMX configurations: each preset can completely be configured by the user•
4 programmes, each with 16 scenes: 4 preset programmes in the device: possibility of configuration of the•
single programmes and of the single scenes
Time programming: possibility to programme 8 time bands: the desired feature can be set up per each•
band: channels off or a preset or a programme and the relay can be commanded on or off.
emote control via USB: it is possible to update scenes and preset from a dedicated programme on PC.•
5.2 Operation
The switching on and off of the device are executed acting on power supplies. On switching on, the device
enters in one of the following modes:

5.2.3 Clock mode
The daily programming of the device will be executed, which is, according to the time and the settings adjusted
through menu, the device will execute a preset or a programme or will command the channels to zero and will
activate or disable the relay. With this mode it is not possible to act manually on the relay.
5.2.4 OFF mode
In OFF mode the DMX channels will be set at the value of 0.

5.2.5 Menu description
The menu can be accessed through prolonged pressure of the key. Each menu entry can be a submenu
(identified by an arrow on the right-handed side of the display), an operations launch (an arrow is used also in
this case) or a set up field (in this case, a number or an option will appear on the right-handed side of the display).
Inside the menu, the operation of the keys is the following:
To modify a value, it is needed to push ENTER in correspondence of the value itself and then act with the follo-
wing keys:

O TIONS (menu): enabling/disabling of a series of optional features3
CHANNELS NUMBER: number of channels commanded by the device•
RELAY: it will set up if commanding or not the relay•
FADE RESET: fading time between the presets, from a tenth of second to one hour•
FADESETOFF: fading time when entering OFF mode, from a tenth of second to one hour•
RADIOCOMMAND: it will indicate if Input 1 and Input 2 (see pinout) are to be used to select the Preset•
mode or Programme and the number of Preset/Programme to be utilized
REFRESH (menu): it is needed to refresh games and programmes as initially preset in the device•

DATE AND TIME (menu): it will allow to modify current date and time.6
DAY: day of current week•
DATE: day of current month and year•
TIME: current hour and minute•
CLOCK (menu): it will enter the time programming of the device7
ZONE 1… ZONE X (menu) (X is the number of time bands which you want to divide the 24 hours in): it•
will allow the set-up of a time zone. The maximum number of zones is 8.
FROM: it will indicate the starting time of the chosen time band. Zone 1 starts at midnight, other•
zones start at the end of previous zone. on-adjustable field.
TO: set up the ending time of the chosen time band. If ending time is set up to 23:59, it will mean•
that the one under modification is the last zone of the day. E.g., if zones are created as follows:
ZO E 1: from 00:00 to 10:00•
ZO E 2: from 10:00 (end of zone 1) to 20:00•
ZO E 3: from 20:00 (end of zone 2) to 23:59•
the total number of time bands of the day (above indicated with X) will be 3. If you set up in the•
last zone (in this case 3) an ending hour different from 23:59 (e.g., 21:00), a new zone will automati-
cally be created (number 4), which will go from 21:00 to 23:59.
MODE: it will indicate which mode the device shall execute during the specified band time. The•
possible modes are: PRESET 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 PROGRAMME 1, 2, 3, 4, OFF.
RELAY: it will indicate if in the specified time band you want the relay on or off.•
