This manual gives the system, specifications and handling of the
A2CCPU General-purpose ProgrammableController(referred to
as
A2C
in
this manual).
The
A2C is
a
baseless building block type CPU which does not use
a
base
unit
for system construction which includes remote
110
and
terminalmodules
(*1).
The
A2Cuses the MELSECNET/MINI-S3data link system
(*2)
(referredto as MINLS3
in
this manual)
in
place
of
a
base unit for
data communication with theremote
VO
module
and
the remote
terminal module through5core flat cables or twistedpair cables.
Using Scoreflat cables, the system modules can bearranged
close to each other just as the building block type CPU is used.
Using twisted pair cables, the system modules can be separated
up to
100
meters (328.1
ft)
away from each other
(*3).
This feature
makes
it
possibleto install the remoteI/O module and the remote
terminal moduleto suit with
the
arrangement of equipmentto be
controlled.
