This convenient mount enables you to use your smartphone in the
car. It creates a stable platform for hands-free use at eye level.

About these instructions
Read these instructions carefully and please observe and heed all references made in these
instructions to guarantee a long life and reliable use of the device. Please keep these instructions at
hand and pass them on to other users of the device.
Intended use
This Grixx car mount securely holds a smartphone to your dashboard or car window. Make sure that
your smartphone is securely fastened to the mount before you begin your trip.
Caution: This mount is not intended for extreme off -road use; excessive bumping and jarring may
result in damage to your device.
This product is not intended for commercial use or for medical and special applications, where the
failure of the product can cause injuries, mortalities or considerable material damages.
Claims of any kind due to damages from improper use or non-observance of safety instructions are
excluded.

This product may contain small parts which may be a choking hazard to children under 3; keep small
parts away from children.
•Road Hazard –Warning
Risk of severe injury or death; this product requires in-car installation. Do not attempt to install or set
up this equipment while your vehicle is moving.

the driver. Some jurisdictions have restrictions regarding the installation of after-market accessories;
consult and obey the local laws and regulations.
•Grixx is not responsible for any damages caused to your car, your device, or yourself due to the
installation or use of the mounts.
•Grixx does not assume any responsibility for any fines, penalties, or damages that may be
incurred as a result of any state or local law or ordinance relating to the use of your device.

Placing the car mount
•Clean the surface or window of the desired location.
•Remove the protective film from the bottom of the suction cup.
•Press the suction cup on the cleaned and desired spot, then turn the lever down.
•The mount adheres to the surface or window.
Caution: Do not adjust the car mount while driving.
Removing the car mount
•Turn the release button, then pull the suction cup from the surface or window.
Caution: Do not remove the car mount while driving.
Placing a smartphone in the holder
•Bring the car mount into the right position, horizontal or vertical.
•This car mount can conveniently tilt up and down, and rotate 360⁰.
•Simply bring or position the smartphone close to the car mount.
•Adjust the clamps, wide open enough to fit in the smartphone.
•Put the smartphone into position.
•Release the clamps.
•Further adjustment, by rotating or tilting can be done.
•For safety reasons it is advised to avoid upside-down placement of the smartphone.
Removing a smartphone from the holder
•Hold your smartphone and open the clamps.
•Remove your smartphone.

Notices
•Ensure that the car mount is mounted on a flat and clean surface; as this may cause the suction
to perform poorly and result in falling of the car mount.
•Ensure the car mount is mounted securely so it will not fall off.
•Be observant and check for signs of looseness during your ride.
•The suction cup may perform poorly in Iow temperature environments.
•Do not use the car mount if it shows signs of looseness.
•Check the state and local laws and ordinances where you drive.
Some state laws prohibit drivers from using mounts on their windshields while operating motor
vehicles. Other state laws allow the mount to be located only in specific locations on the windshield.
It is the user’s responsibility to mount the device in compliance with all applicable laws and
ordinances.
•Do not install this or any product over an air bag cover or within the air bag deployment zone.
Grixx assumes no responsibility of liability for injury or death as a result of car crashes and/or air bag
deployment.
•This product is designed for mobile phones only.
It may not accommodate the weight of a GPS or other device. Maximum weight of your device
should not exceed 0.8 kg.

•Do not use this unit for anything other than its intended use.
•Do not use the product if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
•Keep the unit out of reach of children.
•Do not disassemble the device into its component parts and do not try to repair it yourself. It
does not contain any parts requiring maintenance and the guarantee expires in this case.
•Do not use the device when it shows visible damage or has become moist.

possible that parts of these instructions, technical data and images in this documentation differ
slightly from the product in your possession. All points described in these instructions only serve the

All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the packaging easy to separate
into two materials: cardboard and plastic. The whole product packaging consists of materials which
can be recycled and reused if disassembled by a specialized company. Please observe the local
regulations regarding the disposal of packaging materials and old equipment.
This symbol on packaging signifies that the producer has made a financial contribution towards the
recovery and recycling of packaging.

of Very High Concern) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of
Chemicals) regulated by the European Union.
