pletely through the workpiece.
2. KICKBACK.
Until you have a clear under-
standing of kickback and how it occurs, DO
NOT operate this table saw!

6. AWKWARD OPERATIONS.
No list of safety guidelines can be complete.
Every shop environment is different. Always
consider safety first, as it applies to your
individual working conditions. Use this and
other machinery with caution and respect.
Failure to do so could result in serious per-
sonal injury, damage to equipment, or poor
work results.
Like all machines there is danger associ-
ated with the Model G0451. Accidents are
frequently caused by lack of familiarity or
failure to pay attention. Use this machine
with respect and caution to lessen the pos-
sibility of operator injury. If normal safety
precautions are overlooked or ignored, seri-
ous personal injury may occur.

Below are tips to avoid the most common
causes of kickback:
Statistics show that most common acci-
dents among table saw users can be
linked to kickback. Kickback is typically
defined as the high-speed expulsion of
stock from the table saw toward its opera-
tor. In addition to the danger of the opera-
tor or others in the area being struck by
the flying stock, it is often the case that
the operator’s hands are pulled into the
blade during the kickback.
Preventing Kickback
Even if you know how to prevent kickback, it
may still happen. Here are some tips to pro-
tect yourself if kickback DOES occur:
