Cleaning
Do not attempt to clean FluxScale while under operation. Unplug FluxScale before
cleaning.
Do not clean glass with alkaline or acidic cleaners such as bleach, ammonia, or vinegar,
as the specialty coatings applied to the glass surface may be damaged.
Do not clean glass with Green Shield II, Physan 20, or other ammonia based sanitizers.
These products may be used in the vicinity of FluxScale, however liquid applicaiton of
these agents to the glass will damage specialty coatings.
NEVER PRESSURE WASH FLUXSCALE. Pressure washing will damage critical seals and
void the Limted Warranty.
General cleaning & sanitation:
Never use abrasive brushes, scrub pads, abrasive cleaning cloths, or cleaners containing
abrasive powders and particles on FluxScale. If challenging debris must be removed
from any part of FluxScale, use a plastic scraper to gently free debris. Challenging
residue can be removed with a simple cleaning solution:
puried or ltered water 3 parts 750ml 3 cups
70-99% isopropyl alcohol 1 part 250ml 1 cup
hand dish soap 5ml 1 teaspoon
Mix the above ingredients thoroughly and pour into a clean spray bottle. Using a soft
cloth, clean paper towel, or cotton rag, spray the cleaning solution onto cloth and wipe
debris from surface of FluxScale. This solution can be used on all exterior surfaces of
FluxScale, including the glass window and accessory reectors. Apply solution as a ne
mist with a handheld spray bottle or with a cleaning cloth.
Heat Sanitation
FluxScale 600TL can be safely operated up to 40° C (104° F) with little degradation in
