Ensure that you read all of the safety instructions before operating
this unit.
Ensure that the power cable and other connected cables are protected
and are positioned so that they are not likely to be walked on, pinched or
damaged.
Do not position the unit in areas where it may experience humid or damp
conditions.
Do not allow the unit to get wet. You must keep it away from dripping or
splashing water.
Never allow children to insert foreign objects into the holes or slots on
the unit.
Do not cover the ventilation holes with items such as tablecloths or
curtains, etc. This may cause the unit to overheat.

VOLUME - Press the Volume Buttons to increase or decrease the volume level.
POWER - Press the power button to turn on the unit, or to power the unit off.
SKIP/SEARCH - Press the Skip/Search Buttons to skip between tracks on your iPod
or iPhone or press and hold the Skip/Search Button to search for a specific track.
You can also use this button to adjust the time when setting the clock. Also press the
Skip/Search Button to scan for available stations in FM mode.
LCD DISPLAY - Allows you to view the current time and radio station frequency.
AUX IN (LINE IN) - Allows you to connect and play your MP3 Player or other music
devices (line in cable not included).
DC POWER INPUT - Allows to connect the unit to the power adapter.
ROTATING DOCK FOR iPod and iPhone - Allows you to rotate the view of your
iPod or iPhone so you can watch videos via the dock.
PLAY/PAUSE/PRESET - Press to begin play or pause play on your iPod or iPhone.
Also press to store and play preset FM radio stations in radio mode.
VIDEO OUT - Allows you to connect your Boombox to your TV to watch iPod/iPhone
videos.
TELESCOPIC ANTENNA - This unit features a high sensitivity short antenna to
ensure simple portability.
MEMORY/CLOCK SET - With the power off, press and hold to set the clock. In radio
mode, press to save the current station as a preset.
SLEEP - Press repeatedly to set a sleep timer.
IPOD/AUX IN/FM - Press to switch between iPod/ iPhone, Radio, and Line In modes.

VIDEO OUT
Power Source
This unit comes with an AC Power Adaptor. Please follow the steps below on how to connect the
power adaptor.

Connect the AC Adaptor plug to the rear of the unit.
Then connect the AC Adaptor to your mains power outlet. Make sure you turn the power on
at the wall outlet before turning on the unit.
To turn the unit on or off you will need to press the Power Button. To turn the unit off
completely you must turn the power off at the wall outlet.

Please disconnect the power if you plan to not operate the unit for a long period of time.
Do not connect the power or operate this unit with wet or damp hands.
CAUTION!
Battery Operation
Before installing the batteries (not included), ensure that the mains power is disconnected.
Then remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit by carefully pushing the
batteries cover off. Then insert 4 x 1 .5V C-size batteries (not included) by matching the polarity
markings outlined inside the battery compartment. Then replace the cover.

Connecting to Line In (Aux In)
Setting the Time
The Sleep function allows you to set a time for the unit to automatically turn off. You will be
able to set the Sleep Time up to 90 minutes.
To activate the Sleep Time function, press the Sleep Button repeatedly to scroll through the
available Sleep Times (10 -90 minutes).
When set the unit will continue to play for the selected time and then automatically turn off
once the time has elapsed.
To turn off the Sleep Timer before the time has elapsed, press and hold the Power Button to
turn off the unit. Alternatively press the Sleep Button until the off is displayed on screen.
Setting the Sleep Function
To connect a MP3 Player or other Audio Device you will need a 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable (not
included).

Connect a 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable to the Audio Input on the unit and to the Audio Output
on the audio device you wish to play.
Press the IPOD/AUX IN/FM Button to select Aux In/Line In mode.
Use the navigation controls on the audio device (MP3 Player) to play and control the
audio played.
To adjust the Volume, you will need to adjust the volume level on the unit and external
audio device as desired.

Press and hold the CLOCK SET Button for one second and then the display will begin to
blink.
You will then select 12hr or 24hr time by pressing the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons and press
the CLOCK SET Button to confirm.
The hour digit will now begin to blink. Press the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons to set the hour
and press CLOCK SET Button to confirm.
The minute digit will now begin to blink. Press the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons to set the hour
and press CLOCK SET Button to confirm and the time will be set.

Listening to FM Radio

To automatically scan for all available FM stations, press and hold the SKIP/
SEARCH Buttons and the unit will automatically search for the next available
station.
Continue to press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons until you find the station
you are looking for.
To manually search for an exact station or frequency, just press the SKIP/
SEARCH Buttons and the frequency will manually increase or decrease.

To set a Station Preset, tune to the station you would like to set.
Press and hold the MEM/CLOCK Button and the first preset number will be
displayed on screen (P01).
Press the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons to scroll through the preset numbers.
Then press the MEM/CLOCK Button to save the station to the preset number
displayed on screen.
The Boombox has 20 Station Presets available to store your favourite FM
Stations. However please note if/when the power is disconnected the presets
will be erased.
Playing a Station Preset 
To play a Station Preset, press the Preset Button to scroll to the preset number you
would like to play and the station will play automatically.
CAUTION! 
This unit comes with a high sensitivity short antenna to ensure simple portability.
To improve reception we recommend extending the antenna or changing the
position so the antenna is able to receive the best possible reception.

Listening to iPod / iPhone
Docking an iPod / iPhone
Step 1: Turn the Adjustable Back Support for iPod Dial to the appropriate iPod model or
memory size as indicated on the dial.
Step 2: Connect the iPod/iPhone to the connector inside the dock.
Listening to your iPhone/iPod

Once your iPhone/iPod is docked, press the IPOD/AUX IN/FM Button to select iPod mode.
Your iPod/iPhone will automatically begin to play the last song or playlist listened to.
Alternatively you can press the Play Button to play and pause tracks from your iPod/iPhone.
To skip a song or play the next/previous song press the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons.
Press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons to fast forward or rewind individual songs.

Use your Video Cable to connect your TV's Composite Video Input with the unit's Video
Output.
Select and turn on the 'TV OUT' option on your iPhone/iPod.
Insert your iPhone/iPod on to the dock and turn the unit on.
Select the Video Input option on your TV or Monitor.
You will now be able to play videos and YouTube clips from your iPhone/iPod on your TV
or monitor. Use the iPhone/iPod to select the videos.
Once the iPhone or iPod is dock and the Boombox is connected to the Mains Power the
docked device will charge automatically. Your iPod/iPhone will not charge via battery
power.
Video Output allows you to watch videos from your iPhone/iPod on your TV. You will need a
Video Cable (not included) to connect your Boombox and TV.
For new iPod nano, classic, iPod touch and iPhone, VIDEO OUT function is disabled
by set to (ON) in the video settings of the docked iPod or iPhone.default. Make sure (TV Out) is

iPod models and memory sizes that are not listed on the Dock Adjustment Dial
can be docked by manually adjusting the dial to the depth that fits the iPod best.
