Die Fernbedienung
❒Buchsen
–II–Antennenbuchse
EURO AV EURO AV Buchse zum Anschluß eines
Satellitenreceivers, Videorecorders,
PAY-TV-Decoder usw.
Anschließen
❒TVR an das Stromnetz anschließen
Stecken Sie den Stecker des Netzkabels in die
Steckdose.
❒TVR an die Antenne anschließen
Stecken Sie den Stecker des Antennenkabels in die
Antennenbuchse –II–des TVR's.
❒"Pay-TV"-Decoder anschließen
Wenn Sie verschlüsselte Fernseh-Programme
privater Anbieter empfangen und aufzeichnen wol-
len, ist ein Decoder notwendig. Fragen Sie im Fach-
handel.
Verbinden Sie den Decoder über ein EURO-AV-
Kabel mit der Buchse EURO-AV des TVR's.

bitte mit Punkt fort.
GRUNDIG-INFOCENTER mit Taste haufrufen.
»INSTALLATION« mit den Tasten | ] anwählen
und mit Taste Gaufrufen.
»ATS EURO PLUS« wählen und mit Taste G
aktivieren.
Die Tafel »SPRACHE« erscheint.
Sprache der Benutzerführung mit den Tasten

Land (Aufstellungsort) mit den Tasten | ]

Der TVR sucht alle Kanalzahlen nach Fernseh-
Programmen ab, sortiert und speichert sie.
– Nach Abschluß des Suchlaufs erscheint die Tafel
»INSTALLATION«.

ändern, lesen Sie ab Punkt im Kapitel »Fernseh-
programme umsortieren« auf der nächsten Seite,

Netzschalter an der linken Gerätseite drücken.
Die rote Anzeige leuchtet.
Einschalten aus Stand-by:
Mit den Zifferntasten 0… 9,
oder der Taste ]der Fernbedienung,
oder der Taste ¢P+ am Gerät,
oder durch Einschieben einer Cassette,
oder durch Starten der Wiedergabe (wenn eine
Cassette im TVR ist).
Mit Taste bschalten Sie den TVR aus (Stand-by).

!Beim erstmaligen Betrieb erscheint die Tafel
»SPRACHE«. Führen Sie die folgenden Einstellun-
gen im Kapitel »Fernsehprogramme einstellen mit
dem Suchlauf-Speicher-System« ab Punkt
durch.
Fernseh-Programme einstellen
Die Fernsehanstalten senden ihre Programme
durch Fernsehsender auf verschiedenen Frequen-
zen/Kanälen.
Vorher müssen Sie die Kanäle der Fernseh-
Programme am TVR einstellen.
Es stehen 69 Programmplätze zur Verfügung, die
beliebig mit Fernseh-Programmen von der Antenne
oder dem Kabelanschluß belegt werden können.
Zum Einstellen gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten:
1. Mit dem Suchlauf-Speicher-System (ATS euro

Switching the TVR on and off
Press the power switch located on the left of the
unit.
The red pilot lamp lights up.
The TVR can be switched on from standby:
using the numeric buttons 0… 9,
or the ]button on the remote control,
or the ¢P+ button on the unit,
or by inserting a cassette,
or by starting playback (if a cassette is loaded).
Press the bbutton to switch the TVR to standby.

!When switching the TVR on the first time, the
"LANGUAGE" menu is displayed. Perform the follo-
wing settings described in the chapter "Tuning to TV
stations with the automatic tuning system" starting
with step .
Tuning to TV stations
Television stations broadcast programmes on diffe-
rent frequencies/channels.
To receive these programmes, you must tune your
TVR to the channels used by the different TV
stations.
69 programme positions are available. They can be
tuned as required to TV stations from the aerial or a
cable connection.
Two options are available for tuning:
1. With the automatic tuning system (ATS euro
plus/ACI). The TVR searches, sorts, and stores
all channels/special channels which can be recei-
ved at its location.
This procedure depends on the language and
country you select, as well as the quality of
reception of the TV stations.
If you are not satisfied with the order in which
the TV stations are allocated, the order can be
changed later.

The child lock
It is possible to lock all functions using the child
lock.
Even a cassette which is inserted afterwards
remains in the TVR until it is unlocked.

Select the "SPEZIAL" option using the |]but-
tons and confirm using the Gbutton.
Select the "CHILD LOCK" option using the | ]
buttons and confirm using the Gbutton.

Enter a four-digit code number using the numbered
buttons 0… 9and confirm it using the G
button.

!If the child lock is activated during playback, this is
continued till tape end, then the tape is rewound to
its beginning and the TVR switches to standby.

!If the "SLEEP TIMER" is activated (see page 23), the
TVR switches automatically off when the switch-off
time is reached and activates the child lock.

!A programmed TIMER recording will be executed
even with the child lock activated.

1. Ausbauhinweise
1.1 Geräterückwand abnehmen
– Gerät vom Netz trennen.
– 6 Schrauben (Pos. 19) entfernen und Geräterückwand abnehmen
(Fig. 1).

– Disconnect the unit from the mains.
– Undo 6 screws (Pos. 19) and remove the rear side of the cabinet
(Fig. 1).
1.2 Removing the Power Chassis (PLSP)
– Undo the 2 screws (Pos. 12, Fig. 2)
– Unplug the connectors (1921, 1922, 1923, 1924 and 1925) to the
Video Unit and the picture tube (Fig. 6).
– Concerning TVR's with additional power supply panel:
Disengage the locking lug (Fig. 3), detach the mains switch panel
and the holder (Fig. 4) and uncover the power supply cable.
Attention: Detach the locking lug (Fig. 4) and take out the mains
switch panel from the holder only if the mains switch panel is
defective.
– Withdraw the Power Chassis and take it out towards the top.
Attention: Whenre-assemblingthePowerChassisthespacersmust
be fitted (pos. 42, exploded view).
Operating the TVR with the Power Chassis removed
– Place the Power Chassis behind the set as shown in Fig. 5.
– Re-connect the connectors.
Attention: The Power Chassis and the mains switch panel must not
come into contact with the metal screen.
1.2 Leistungs-Chassis (PLSP) ausbauen
– 2 Schrauben (Pos. 12) entfernen (Fig. 2).
– Steckverbindungen(1921,1922,1923,1924und1925)zumVideo-
teil und zur Bildröhre lösen (Fig. 6).
– Bei Geräten mit zusätzlicher Netzschalterplatte:
Rastnase (Fig. 3) lösen und Netzschalterplatte mit Halter (Pos. 4)
abmontieren und Netzkabel freilegen.
Achtung: Nur bei einem Defekt auf der Netzschalterplatte die
Rastnase lösen (Fig. 4) und Netzschalterplatte aus dem Halter
nehmen.
– Leistungs-Chassis nach hinten ziehen und nach oben abnehmen.
Achtung: Beim Einbau des Leistungs-Chassis müssen die Ab-
standshalter(Pos. 42, Explosionszeichnung) angebracht
sein.
Betrieb des Gerätes mit ausgebautem Leistungs-Chassis
– Leistungs-Chassis hinter das Gerät wie in Fig. 5 gezeigt legen.
– Steckverbindungen wieder kontaktieren.
Achtung: DasLeistungs-Chassis und die Netzschalterplatte dürfen
dabei nicht das Abschirmgehäuse berühren.
