Instructions for Use
Using the Ampli-Phone (iPhone version shown)
e Ampli-Phone consists of three parts.

If you wish to use the Ampli-Phone as a dock to charge and/or sync your iPhone, thread the USB end of your
Apple-supplied dock connector through the hole in the rubber dock. Press the other end evenly into the recess
provided. Ensure that the printed symbol on the connector faces forward. It is important that the orientation
of this connector be correct. If you are unsure of the orientation, you should connect the charging cord to
your iPhone before inserting the cord into the rubber dock. When you insert the iPhone into the dock, the
connector will be oriented correctly.
e connector will fit very firmly into the recess in the dock, so it will stay in place as you remove or insert the
iPhone. If you do not need to use the dock connector, you may leave it out, as the Ampli-Phone works equally
well with or without the dock connector.

Carefully press the iPhone into place. If you meet any
resistance, check to make sure that the dock connector
is mating correctly to the connector on the bottom
of the phone. Do not force the phone over the dock
connector - it should slide into place easily. Once you
are confident that the connectors are mating, press
the phone all the way down into the rubber dock. e
performance of the Ampli-Phone depends upon an air
tight seal at all joints. To achieve a tight seal, you must
press the phone firmly and fully into the rubber dock.
Install the rubber Dock over the hole in
the top of the roat. Make sure that it
is firmly attached and installed as far as
it will go. Insert the roat and Dock
into the square hole at the back of the
Horn, facing up as shown at left. Press
it in until it is fully seated as shown
in the photograph below. e throat
does not lock into place, so it may be
removed and reinserted at any time.

Place the Ampli-Phone on any suitable
horizontal surface and enjoy music, voice,
and sound effects from your iPhone amplified
to room-filling volume. To watch movies
or videos, rotate the Ampli-Phone onto its
side. e iPhone will be horizontal and the
screen will point slightly upwards, providing a
convenient viewing angle.

When in use, all controls of the iPhone remain
accessible. You will be able to select tunes or
videos, change volume, answer or initiate phone
calls, and turn the iPhone on and off in the
normal manner.

Hint
If you place the Ampli-Phone in a corner, the
walls will act like a continuation of the horn and
provide even more volume and fullness.
