Installing the EDGE Main Controller PSU Kit
Before You Begin
WARNING
Follow the guidelines below for the safe usage of the product:
•Installation must be performed by qualified service person.

Terms of Use
Read and follow all installation, operation, and maintenance information carefully before using the
product. Refer to the user documentation for complete product specifications. If the product is used
in a manner not specified, the protection provided by the product warranty will be void.
IMPORTANT:
Protective Earth Ground Terminal, primarily used for protective earth terminals. Terminal connected to
conductive parts of a device for the purpose of safety and is intended to be connected to an external
system for protective grounding.
Power Supply - L1: High voltage input of the panel mount power supply.
Power Supply - L2/N: High voltage input of the panel mount power supply.
What You Should Know
1. Position the metal plate from the right part of the enclosure onto the ribs and stand-offs.
2. Screw the metal plate to the main controller using the four screws included.

3. Connect the four green pins on the terminal block to AUTO or SAFETY.
WARNING
Do not connect the expansion boxes to the same bus as the main controller power
supply. Otherwise, this power supply will provide 24 VDC to the expansion box during
a power outage.
4. Connect the EARTH GND wire, which is screwed into the metal plate, to the fourth pin of the Alarm
relay connector (no. 4 in the following image).
5. Included in the PSU kit is a cable gland. A hole of 0.804" (13/16") must be drilled into the enclosure
for the cable gland to fit. Strip the power cord, pass the cord through the cable gland and connect it.
6. Tighten the cable gland to seal the enclosure. Connect the opposite end of the cable to the AC source.
The power supply can accept a voltage between 85 and 240 VAC.
