Montage/Demontage/Längenanpassung
Bracelet mounting/dismounting and lengths adjusting
Wichtiger Hin eis:
Die Schrauben der Bandglieder ind, um ein Lockern bei Vibrationen zu vermeiden, mit einer
Schrauben icherung pa te im Gewinde zu ätzlich ge ichert. Dadurch la en ich die Schrauben nur
mit Kraftaufwand lö en. Bitte beachten Sie, daß Sie beim Lö en der Schraube da Band gut fixieren
um ein Abrut chen der Schraubendreher zu vermeiden. Da Abrut chen der Schraubendreher kann
zu erheblichen Verletzungen und/oder Be chädigungen am Metallband bzw. der Uhr führen.
Important Note
The crew of the bracelet link are additionally ecured with a crew locking pa te in the thread to
prevent them from loo ening due to vibration . Thi mean that the crew can only be loo ened
with great effort. Plea e note that when loo ening the crew you fix the trap firmly to prevent the
crewdriver from lipping off. If the crewdriver lip off, thi can lead to eriou injurie and/or
damage to the metal bracelet or the watch.
Massivband mit Schnell echselsystem montieren
Zuallererst: Legen Sie unter Ihre Uhr eine weiche Unterlage – so verhindern Sie
Beschädigungen an Ihrer Uhr und das Wegrollen von Kleinteilen.
1. Legen Sie die Uhr mit der Zifferblattseite nach unten auf die eiche Unterlage
2. Drücken Sie die beiden Betätigungsknöpfe des Schnell echselfederstersteges in
Richtung der Bandmitte zusammen.
3. Die beiden Pins des Schnell echselfedersteges müssen jetzt mit dem Endstück des
Metallbandes bündig abschließen.
4. Schieben Sie das Endstück des Metallbandes von unten z ischen die beiden
Bandhörner.

5. Lassen Sie jetzt die beiden Pins los. Die Pin´s müssen jetzt in die Bohrungen der
Bandhörner einrasten. Sie können leicht erkennen, ob die Pin´s richtig eingerastet
sind – in diesem Fall befinden sich die beiden Betätigungsknöpfe des
Schnell echselfedersteges exakt gegenüber den beiden kreisrunden Markierungen
auf der Unterseite des Endstückes des Metallbandes.
Massivband mit Schnell echselsystem abnehmen
1. Legen Sie die Uhr mit der Zifferblattseite nach unten auf die eiche Unterlage
2. Drücken Sie die beiden Betätigungsknöpfe des Schnell echselfederstersteges in
Richtung der Bandmitte zusammen.
3. Schieben Sie, ährend Sie die beiden Betätigungsknöpfe zusammengedrückt
halten, das Metallband Richtung der Unterseite der Uhr aus den Bandhörnern der
Uhr.
Bracelet ith quick-change system mounting
First and fore ost: Put a soft underlay under your watch - this will prevent da age to
your watch and the rolling away of s all parts.
1. Place the atch face do n on the soft surface
2. . Press the t o operating buttons of the quick-change spring bar to ards the
middle of the bracelet.
3. The t o pins of the quick-change spring bar must no be flush ith the end piece
of the metal strap.
4. Slide the end piece of the metal strap bet een the t o horns from belo .
5. No release the t o pins. The pins must no snap into the holes in the horns. You
can easily see hether the pins are correctly engaged - in this case the t o
operating buttons of the quick-change spring bar are located exactly opposite the
t o circular markings on the underside of the end piece of the metal strap.
Remove bracelet ith quick-change system
1. Place the atch face do n on the soft surface
2. . Press the t o operating buttons of the quick-change spring bar to ards the
middle of the bracelet.
3. While holding the t o operation buttons pressed together, slide the metal band out
of the atch band horns to ard the bottom of the atch.

Längenanpassung Ihres Massivarmbandes
Wenn Sie mit der Längenanpa ung Ihre Ma ivarmbande nicht vertraut ind, wenden Sie
ich bitte direkt an Guinand.
Stellen Sie bei einer Armbandlängenänderung zunäch t die Anzahl der Bandglieder auf
beiden Seiten der Schließe fe t. Für den größtmöglichen Tragekomfort ollten beide Seiten
de Armbande gleich viele Glieder enthalten. I t die nicht möglich, ollte da obere
Band tück (12-Uhr-Seite) länger ein.
Zur Längenänderung mü en Sie da Ma ivarmband nicht von der Uhr oder von der
Schließe trennen.
Zuallererst: Legen Sie unter Ihre Uhr eine weiche Unterlage – so verhindern Sie
Beschädigungen an Ihrer Uhr und das Wegrollen von Kleinteilen.
Lö en Sie die Schrauben an der Seite de zu entfernenden Bandgliede bzw. an der Stelle, an
der Sie ein Bandglied ein etzen möchten. Hierzu benötigen Sie zwei pa ende Schlitz-
Schraubendreher (Klingenbreite min 1,4 mm, max. 2,0 mm). E wird ein Schraubendreher
benötigt, wie ihn Uhrmacher benutzen. Feinmechaniker-Schraubendreher ollten Sie nicht
verwenden, die e ind mei ten viel zu groß und be chädigen die Schrauben owie da
Armband.

Die e Schraubendreher etzten Sie link und recht jeweil an der Schraube de zu
entfernenden Bandteil an.
Entnehmen Sie da freiwerdende Bandglied bzw. etzen Sie ein neue ein.
Geben Sie vor dem Ver chrauben einen kleinen Tropfen (nicht mehr!) de von Guinand
gelieferten Schrauben icherung mittel (Sicherheit hinwei am Ende die er Anleitung
beachten) auf da Gewinde der Band chraube.
Ziehen Sie die Schraube handfe t an.
Feineinstellung der Armbandlänge
Die Schließe de Guinand-Ma ivbande verfügt über 4 Bohrungen, die e ermöglichen, die
Armbandlänge in Schritten von 3 mm zu variieren. Muß die Länge de Bande tärker variiert
werden, kann durch Entfernen oder Ein etzten von Bandgliedern eine Längenänderung von
jeweil ca. 10 mm erfolgen.

Adjustment the length of the bracelet
If you are unfamiliar with the length adju tment of your olid bracelet, plea e contact
Guinand directly.
Determine the relative length of the two ide before adju ting the length of the bracelet.
To en ure maximum comfort, both ide of the bracelet hould contain the ame number of
link . If thi i not po ible, the top bracelet trap (above the 12 on the clock) hould be
longer.
It i not nece ary to detach the olid bracelet from the watch or the cla p.

Loo en the crew on the ide of the bracelet link which i to be removed or added. For thi
you need two matching lotted crewdriver (blade minimum width 1.4 mm, maximum
blade 2 mm). It need a crewdriver, a u ed by watchmaker . Preci ion crewdriver hould
not be u ed, they are u ually much too large and damage the crew and the bracelet.
Attach the e crewdriver to the left and right of the crew of the tape part to be removed.
Remove the uperfluou bracelet link or in ert a new one.
Before crewing tight, add a mall drop (no more!) of thread-locker upplied by Guinand
(Note the afety note at the end of thi manual) to the thread of the bracelet crew.
Hand-tighten the crew.
Fine adjustment the length of the bracelet
The Guinand olid trap cla p ha 4 hole that allow the trap length to be varied in
increment of 3 mm. If the length of the bracelet mu t be varied more widely, a length
change of approximately 10 mm can be made by removing or in erting bracelet link
element .

General tatement :
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wa h it before reu e.
