SAFETY & PRECAUTION

Thank you for purchasing the La Tulip spa from Gulfstream Plastics Ltd. Please carefully read instructions before
installing the spa. Carefully follow the instructions, your spa will give you years of beauty and service.
This product is to be connected to a branch circuit outlet protected by a Class A GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT
INTERRUPTER (GFCI), and the GFCI shall be tested regularly for continued protection and correct
operation. If a Class A GFCI protected outlet is not available, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! Please
contact a licensed electrician for installation of a Class A GFCI according to local electric codes, or equivalent.

Foot-spa must be installed by a licensed plumber and electrician in accordance with local codes.
Plumbing and Electrical Installation instructions must be adhered to in order for the warranty to be in effect
and to insure the utmost in safety. Chair and spa have a maximum seating capacity of 350 pounds.
BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE OBSERVED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
1. Read and follow all instructions
2. DANGER. To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use this unit unless they are supervised at all
times
3. Use this unit only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments that are not
Recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
5. Do not block jets during whirlpool operation.
6. The unit must be connected to an electrical supply circuit that is protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter.
7. The clean jet motor is magnetically driven and is insulated twice. Therefore it does not require to be bonded.
Save these instructions
1. Excessive water temperature is dangerous and should be checked BEFORE use.
2. Maximum temperature of the water should never exceed 100 degrees F.
3. Always enter and exit the Foot Spa slowly and carefully.
4. NEVER bring and / or operate any electrical devices into or near the Foot Spa.

Align the seat with the pre-drilled holes on the base then
tightly secure with the nuts and bolts provided.

Gently pull out the jet cover in the arrow direction to remove
then carefully remove the suction control screen, the jet inner cover
Align and snap the jet inner cover, the suction control
screen on the jet cover. Then snap on the jet cover in th
arrow direction to the housing to close

Align fingers to the open, turn counter-clockwise
and pull in the arrow direction to remove jet cover
Align jet cover on the jet housing then turn clockwise
to install jet cover

Align the liner on top of the bowl to cover, the jet cover on
the liner should snap on the jet housing located on the bowl.
Plug the drain stopper onto the drain hole on the liner, this
should also plug the drain hole on the glass bowl

INSTALLATIONS 8
1. Discharge pump may be connected to an existing sink drain or floor drain. It can also pump up to 7 ft high, but this
will increase the length of the drain time. The drain connection is at the rear of the unit by a ½” fitting.
2. Gravity drain uses a standard gravity drain. A floor drain is recommended. Connection via a P-Trap is supplied.
3. Hot and cold water supply connections are located at the rear of the unit (½” fittings).
Please be advised that the hot and cold water supply lines are not fitted with optional back flow Preventers unless
ordered at initial sale.
4. Have a qualified licensed electrician to install the wiring according to local codes.
The Cleanjets are 1/10 hp, 120V, 1.2 AMP 60OHZ. A 15 amp GFI protected circuit must be used to supply power to
the unit. The roller back massage chair uses a 115V supply.
5. Spa base should be anchored securely to the floor. The base may be anchored through
the opening in the back of the base wherever access is convenient for the installer.
FAILURE TO ANCHOR THE BASE MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
DAMAGE AS A RESULT WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
