GENERAL OPERATION
The Prestige Pro is controlled by pressing the
three position ON/OFF power control switch
located on the hose handle. When the switch
is pushed to the left (I) it turns on the vacuum
only. When the switch is pushed to the right
(II) it operates both the vacuum and the brush
roller. The headlight will operate when the
Prestige Pro is turned on.
Carpet Height Adjustment
Your powerhead has six different settings
to clean a variety of carpet types and floor
surfaces. The height adjustment pedal is
located on the back right of the powerhead.
To determine which setting you are currently
on, look through the height indicator window
on the top of the unit. You will see one of the
six settings detailed below:
XHI Very Plush Carpet
HI Plush Carpet
AUTO General Carpet Thickness or Bare Floors
MED Medium Pile Carpet
LO Low Pile Carpet
XLO Indoor/Outdoor Carpet
Carpet Height Adjustment Tip: When using the Prestige Pro powerhead,
start on the “Auto” setting. If pushing the powerhead feels difficult, then
adjust to a higher setting. If the powerhead feels easy to push, you may
want to lower the powerhead for more effective cleaning. The “Auto”
setting is the recommended setting for hard floor surfaces (i.e. tile, vinyl,
wood).
