The chassis provides multiple installation positions for chassis rails on its two sides. Selectan
installation position for chassIs rails based on the rack depth. To maintain the chassis stability, make
sure the slide rails reach a minimum of 30 mm (1.18 in) out of the chassis rails.
设备侧面板提供了多个滑道导轨安装位，用户可根据机柜的深度，调整滑道导轨的安装位置；为保证
设备安装后的稳定性，当滑道与滑道导轨安装完成后，请确保滑道的头部露出滑道导轨最少30mm。
The accessory installation positions in the following figures are for illustration only.
以下图中附件安装位置仅供参考，请根据实际安装场景的需要选择合适的安装位置。
Before installation, wear an ESD wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact
and is reliably grounded.
在以下安装过程中，请您佩戴防静电腕带，并确保防静电腕带已经正确接地并与皮肤良好接触。

This installation option is applicable to a rack with a distance of 518 mm (20.39 in) to 858 mm (33.78 in)
between the front and rear rack posts.
此安装方式适用于前后方孔条间距在518mm～858mm范围内的机柜。
Install the chassis rail at e, f, or g. 挂耳安装在靠近电源侧时，滑道导轨可安装在e、f或g任意一处。

Installing the switch in a 19-inch rack 安装交换机到19英寸机柜
Before installing cage nuts, mark their installation positions on the rack posts.
安装浮动螺母前，建议用户先使用记号笔在机柜方孔条上标注浮动螺母安装位置。
Connect the grounding cable to a grounding point on the chassis before installing the switch in the rack.
为了防止机箱安装到机柜后无法安装接地线，请您先将接地线安装到交换机的接地点上。
The switch has three grounding points. The primary grounding point and auxiliary grounding point 1
are on the side panel. Auxiliary grounding point 2 is on the rear panel. The switch provides a
grounding sign at the primary grounding point but not at auxiliary grounding points 1 and 2.
设备提供3处接地点，主接地点和备用接地点1位于机箱侧面板，备用接地点2位于机箱后面板。主接
地点标有接地标识，备用接地点1和备用接地点2无接地标识。
The grounding cable and grounding screw provided with the switch are applicable only to the
primary grounding point and auxiliary grounding point 1.
随机附带的接地线缆和接地螺钉仅适用于主接地点和备用接地点1。
As a best practice, use the primary grounding point or auxiliary grounding point 1 for grounding. To
use auxiliary grounding point 2, prepare a grounding cable yourself.
建议您优先选用主接地点和备用接地点1进行接地。如需使用备用接地点2进行接地，请自备接地线缆。

Using the LSWM1BFANSC fan tray

Before installing a fan tray, make sure the airflow direction marked on the fan tray meets the ventilation
requirements at the installation site.
安装风扇模块前，请根据风扇模块的风向指示，确认气流方向和安装环境的通风要求一致。
When you install a fan tray, make sure the "TOP" mark is on top.
安装风扇模块时，请确保“TOP”丝印朝上。
The switch comes with the two fan tray slots empty. You can power on the switch only when the
switch has two fan trays of the same model installed.
交换机出厂时两个风扇插槽均为空，为保证设备的正常散热，用户必须安装两个相同型号的风扇模
块，否则禁止交换机上电运行。
If both fan trays fail while the switch is operating, finish replacing the fan trays within 1 minute.
设备运行过程中，如果两个风扇模块均出现故障，则必须在1分钟内完成故障风扇模块的更换。
If one fan tray fails while the switch is operating, replace the fan tray immediately and make sure
the faulty fan tray is in position before replacing it.
在设备运行过程中，如果一个风扇模块出现故障，请及时进行更换，且更换故障风扇模块前需保持
故障风扇模块在位。
Make sure each slot is installed with a module or filler panel while the switch is operating.
设备运行过程中，必须确保所有可插拔模块插槽不能为空，请务必安装相应的模块或假面板。
Installing and removing a power module 电源模块的安装与拆卸
If you are not to install a power module in a power module slot, install a filler panel in the slot. The
filler panel prevents dust from entering the chassis and ensures good ventilation.
若电源模块插槽没有安装电源模块，请及时安装假面板，以保证设备的良好通风散热并防止灰尘进入
交换机。

Connecting a power cord 连接电源线
Before connecting a power cord, connect the grounding cable to the switch and make sure the
switch is reliably grounded.

Connect a power cord to the switch first and then to the power source to avoid bodily injury.
连接电源线时，请先完成电源线与交换机侧的连接，再进行电源线与供电系统的连接，以免造成人
身伤害。

The LSWM1BFANSC fan tray provides power module-side intake and port-side exhaust airflow. The
fan tray handles are blue. The LSWM1BFANSCB fan tray provides port-side intake and power
module-side exhaust airflow. The fan tray handles are red.
LSWM1BFANSC为吹风风扇，风向为电源侧进风，端口侧出风，风扇把手为蓝色LSWM1BFANSCB
为抽风风扇，风向为端口侧进风，电源侧出风，风扇把手为红色。
Airflow through the switch 交换机的风向设计
The switch has a front-rear air aisle. It can provide airflow from the power module side to the port side,
or from the port side to the power module side, depending on the fan trays installed.
交 换 机 采用前后风道设计，通过 安 装 不同的风扇模块，可提供 “ 电源侧到端口侧 ” 和 “ 端 口侧到电
源侧”两种气流方向，满足不同环境下的散热要求。

Installing and removing an interface card
接口模块扩展卡的安装与拆卸
To avoid damage, do not touch the electronic components on an interface card.
请勿直接接触接口模块扩展卡上的元器件，避免造成损坏。
If you are not to install an interface card in an interface card slot, install a filler panel in the slot.
The filler panel prevents dust from entering the chassis and ensures good ventilation.
若接口模块扩展卡插槽没有安装接口模块扩展卡，请及时安装假面板，防止灰尘进入交换机，同时
又保证设备的良好通风散热。
Use a removable cable tie to secure the power cord. The securing method is the same for AC
and DC power cords. The figure uses an AC power cord as an example.
使用可拆卸式扎带固定电源线，以防止电源线脱落。直流电源线和交流电源线的固定方式相同，
此处以交流电源线为例介绍电源线的固定过程。
Remove a filler panel 拆卸假面板Install a filler panel 安装假面板
To remove a filler panel:
1. Use your thumb and forefinger to hold the filler panel through the two holes.
2. Push right the metal tab in the left hole and pull out the filler panel along the guide rails.
拆卸假面板：用食指和拇指扣住假面板上的两个圆孔，向右用力按压左边圆孔内的金属弹片，然后沿插槽导
轨向外拉出假面板。
