WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury,
the following basic safety precautions should always be
followed when using an electrical appliance.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR STEAM CLEANER
1. DO NOT leave your Steam Cleaner unattended when plugged in or not in use.
2. This unit is not a toy Close supervision is required when using unit near children
pets, and plants. Steam produced by unit is hot and pressurized. Care must be
taken to avoid bums or other injuries. Never point nozzle at people or pets.
3. Always unplug electrical cord when unit is not in use. DO NOT use this unit if
electrical cord or outlet is damaged. DO NOT use unit if it is not working
properly or has been dropped, damaged, or left outdoors. If such damage occurs,
return unit to a licensed service technician for repairs,

inadequate current capacity. Athree-prong outlet or a properly grounded adapter
is necessary when using Steam Cleaner.
6. In order to unplug Steam Cleaner, grasp plug and pull smoothly and
firmly from outlet. DO NOT attempt to unplug unit by pulling or tugging on cord,

To avoid falls and other injuries, be sure to dry any wet areas on floors and to
stand away from damp surfaces while using Steam Cleaner.

a three-pronged plug. This plug will fit in a polarized wall
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, contact a licensed electrician to install a proper
outlet. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug or defeat this
safety feature.
8 Steam Cleaner is only meant to be used with recommended accessories.
Other types of accessories are not to be used with Steam Cleaner.

9. Nozzle and accessories become hot during use. To avoid injuries,

more than oz, of water
12. Before filling unit with water, always unplug power cord from electrical outlet
Failure to do so may result in electrical shock and injury.
13. Only water should be used in unit. Other cleaning agents will damage unit and
can cause injuries.
14. DO NOT operate unit if steam opening Is blocked. Should this occur, immediately
cease usage and unplug from cicatrical outle.
15. Store your Steam Cleaner in a cool, dry place Allow unit to cool completely, and
always drain Water Reservoir before storing.

FUNCTIONS OF EACH PART
- The On/Off Swich (®)
- The Power Light (@) provides a dear visual indication of whether the unit is powered on.
- The Steam Ready Light (©) indicates when the unit is ready to begin steaming.
- The Storage Compartment (©) is used for storing small accessories.
- The Water Tark Cap (®) is Turn in counter clock wise Compartment. There mast be a
sufficient amount of water (15~20 oz.) in the Water Tank in order for the onit to property
function.
- The Handle (©) is designed to stay relatively cool while providing the optimum amount
of safety and user comfort.
- Tlie Steam Lock Switch (@) is pushed forward to lock the Steam Button down and
provide continuous steam.
- The Steam Button (®) is depressed in order to release a spray of hot, penetrating steam
from the unit
- Tlie Carry Handle (®) provides a convenient place to set the main steam nozzle, and is
useful for carrying the unit up stairs and over obstacles
- The Steam Jet Nozzle (®) focuses the spray of steam from the unit and serves as the
base to which all other accessories connect
- Tlie Steam Hose (©) safely channels the flow of steam from the units bliler to the main
steam nozzle
-The Floor Mop (@) is useful for cleaning floors and other large surfares.
- The Floor Mop (®) attaches to the Floor Brush for cleaning tile and other hard
surface floors.
- Tlie Ultra-Microfiber Pad (©) -Fitted with velcro, the pad is easily attached to the main
unit by pressing together.
- The Steam Towel (©) can be used to clean mirrors, windows and other smooth glass
surfaces.
- The Extension Wands (©) cohnect to the main steam nozzle, allowing easy cleaning
in hard-to-reach places.
- The Water Funnel(@) and the Measuring Cup (@) are provided to assist you in easily
and consistently filling the Water Reservoir with the optimum amount of water(17 oz,)
- The Round Brush (®,@) and the Angle Nozzle (@) attach to the Steam Jet Nozzle,
providing extra power for removing exceptionally tough dirt and stains.
- Storage of Power Cord (@) Store power cord in the Storage.

USING THE STEAM CLEANER
1 h Place Steam Cleaner on a flat level surface.
2. Fill Measuring Cup to maximum fill line (16 oz.) with water
NOTE: To prolong the life of your Steam Cleaner, we recommend using
distilled or de-mineralized water.
3. Carefully pour water from Measuring Cup into Water Reservoir through fill hole.
4. Depending on how long you intend to steam, you may repeat steps 2 & 3 up to
two more times, to have up to a maximum of 25 oz, of water See chart for a
comparison of the amount of water vs approximate steam time.

5. Plug grounded power cord into a convenient electrical outlet
CAUTION: This unit uses a gmunded(3-prong) electrical plug, Use only in
properly installed 3-prong electrical outlets. Do not attempt to alter
plug or circumvent this safety feature in any way.
6, Steam Ready Light On/Off Switch to "On" position, Steam Ready Light will immediately
illuminate. (Note: Steam Ready Light is illuminated while boiler is heating)
1, Steam Ready Light will deactivate in 2-8 minutes(depending on how much water
is in Water Reservoir), indicating that boiler is heated and unit is ready to begin
8. Direct Steam Jet Nozzle (or other accessories) towards surface you desire to steam,
and press Steam Button.
CAUTION: Always be sure that Stam Jet Nozzle and other accessories are
pointed in a safe directionfaway from yourself, other people, pets,
and plants)before pressing Steam Button.
9. Keep Steam Button depressed for continuous flow of stem, You may also slide the
Steam Lock Switch forward while depressing the Steam Button to lock without
having to down the Steam Button.
NOTE: During use, the Steam Ready Light may illuminate. This is normal,
If you notice a drop in stem pressure, release Steam Button until
Steam Ready Light deactivates once again.
10. Once steaming tasks are complete, immediately set Lighted On/Off Switch to "Off"
position and unplug grounded power cord from electrical outlet. Follow steps under
Proper Storage procedure on page 6 of this manual

CARE AND STORAGE GUIDELINES
PROPER STORAGE
Preparing your Steam Cleaner for storage is quick and simple. When you have
finished your steaming tasks, follow the steps listed below.
1. Switch Lighted On/Off Switch to "GfT position and unplug grounded power cord
from electrical outlet.
2. Allow unit to cool completely (at least 30 minutes.)
3. Remove all accessories from unit.
4. Drain any remaining water in Water Reservoir into a sink or tub to prevent
over-filling during your next use.
5 Store accessories safely away, near Steam Cleaner. Utility Brushes can be
conveniently stored in the Storage Compartment.
6 Store power cord in the storage
7 + Store Steam Cleaner in a cool dry location.
REMOVING MINERAL BUILD-UP
Acommon problem with steam appliances is mineral build-up caused by high
mineral content in many municipal water supplies
The best way to avoid this is to use de-rnineralized or distilled water in unit
If you are unable to use de-mineralized or distilled water we recommend you
use this procedure monthly to help avoid mineral build-up:
1 Switch Lighted On/Off Switch to "Off 1 * * 4 5 6 * 8 position and unplug grounded power
cord from electrical outlet. Allow unit to completely cool.
2. Remove alt accessories from unit.
3. Flip up Storage Compartment lid and remove Water Reservoir cap.
4 Drain water from Water Reservoir into sink or tub.
5 Using Measuring Cup : make a mixture of 8 oz vinegar and 8 oz. water.

7. Allow to stand for 10 minutes.
8 Drain water-vinegar solution from Water Reservoir.
9. Rinse Water Reservoir with fresh water, drain and repeat until vinegar Oder dissipates.
10. Replace Water Reservoir cap and lower Steorage Compartment lid back down.

TROUBLESHOOTING

ULTRA-MICRO FIBER PADS FOR HAAN FLOOR SANITIZER
What is an uitra-microfiber?
An ultra-microfiber is a textile fiber that is thinner than a microfiber (I.Odtex),
Specifically, to be defined as an ultra-microfiber, it should be less than 0,2dtex,
The Ultra-IUlicrofiber pad by HAAN Corporation is made of 0.17dtex ultra-
microfibers.
<How To Use Ultra-Microfiber Pads>
(1) Please make sure that you always use completely dried pads.
(2) As high temperature steam passes through a pad to contact the floor to kill
germs, molds, mites and to provide a certain amount of water necessary for
cleaning, it is natural that the pad gradually absorbs moisture. After a certain
length of time, the pad repels water and becomes damp.
(3) To keep the floor dean and dry, replace the pad when it is dirty.
<How To Clean and Store>
(1) Ultra-microfiber pads are easy to wash Soak pads for about 1-2 hours in cold
or lukewarm water with laundry detergent and hand-wash them
(If you use a washing machine, use a brief and light cycle, for example, delicate
or wool cycle.)
(2) Using a washing machine may shorten the lifespan of the pads.
(3) Dry pads indoors by natural ventilation.
(If you use a dryer, please do not use a fabric softener and adjust it to cold cycle.)
CAUTION: Always allow your floor sanitizer to cool before changing
or removing the ultra-microfiber pad.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Your HAAN Garment Steamer is warranted to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase when utilized for
normal household use by the original pucbaser only The included Warranty Registration
Card must be filled out and returned within 10 days of purchase. This is essential for
your warranty to be effective should any problem arise with this product.
Should any defect covered by the terms of the limited warranty be discovered within
one year HAAN Corporation will repair or replace by defective part provided the unit
is returned by the original purchaser, freight prepaid, to: 44 North Queen Street,

Proof of purchase date and $12.95 for handling and return packing/shipping charges
must be included.
The liability under this warranty is limited solely to the cost of the replacement parts or
the complete unit at our option. LABOUR CHARGES ARE NOT INCLUDED
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the unit and excludes all other
fegai and/or conventional warranties. The responsibility of HAAN Corporation, if any,
is limited to the specific obligations expressly assumed by it under the term of the
limited warranty. In no event is HAAN Corporation liable for incidental or consequential
damages of any nature whatsoever. Some States/Provinces do not permit the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you
