Recommended settings for the Hacker MEZON in helicopter use with
governormode of the Mikado V-BAR (internal governormode V-BAR)
Vor der Inbetriebnahme dieses Reglers sollten Sie die MEZON Bedienungsanleitung und diese
Einstelltipps sorgfältig lesen.
Before operating this unit, please read the MEZON instructions and these recommended setting
completely.
1.
Auslesen der Impulsweite für Motor AUS (Initial Point) und Motor EIN (End Point) mit der JetiBox,
diese wird am Gaskanal der V-Stabi Zentraleinheit angeschlossen. Zur Beschaltung der V-Stabi
Zentraleinheit beachten Sie bitte die Anleitung zum V.Stabi > http://www.vstabi.info/de/node/785
Es werden die Werte in ms (Millisekunden) für beide Positionen benötigt. Bitte notieren Sie diese
Werte.
Reading the pulse width for motor OFF (Initial Point) and ON (End Point) with the JetiBox, that is

You need the values in ms (milliseconds) for both positions. Please make a note of these values.

2.
Master MEZON mit dem rotem (!) Stecker mit der JetiBox verbinden.
Connect the Master MEZON with the red (!) uni-plug to the JetiBox.

Für die Programmierung des Master Mezon für den V-Stabi Governormode folgen Sie bitte der
Bilderserie, wichtige Punkte werden kommentiert.
For the special V-BAR gov.mode settings, please follow the picture series. You will find comments for
important settings.

Wählen Sie hier : “FAST RESPONSE”
Choose here: “FAST RESPONSE”
Einstellung der Beschleunigung für das Starten des Motors/Rotors. Für einen ersten Wert empfehlen
wir 9-10 Sekunden bei 3D Helis der 600//00’er Klasse.
Set the acceleration for the start of your motor/rotor. For 600/700 class 3D helicopter we recommend
9-10seconds.

Nun wird der zuvor unter Punkt 1 ausgelesene Weg des Drosselkanals im Regler festgelegt. Diese
Einstellung ermöglicht später mehrere verschiedene Gasvorwahlen mit unterschiedlichen Drehzahlen.

allows several different idle ups.
Hier den Wert in ms der Motor AUS Position vorgeben.
Set here the value for motor off position.

Jetzt den Wert für “Vollgas” einsetzen (100% Gasweg des Senders).
Set the value for full power (100% in TX)

Programmieren der Lipoüberwachung (wenn gewünscht), hier im Beispiel 10S Lipo mit 3,5V pro
Zellen und Abregelung des Motors:
Set the voltage für the lipo monitoring (here for example 10S Lipo with slowdown the motor when
reaching 3,5V per cell):

WICHTIG: „Slow down“! Damit wird der Motor bei Erreichen der Spannungsschwelle sanft herunter
geregelt.
IMPORTANT: “Slow down”! Thus, the motor when it reaches the threshold voltage is regulated down
gently.

Es folgen die Einstellungen für den Motor.
Now the settings for the motor are following.

Programmieren Sie hier das vom Motorhersteller empfohlene Motortiming (im Beispiel 15° für den
Hacker A50-Turnado 10pol).
Set the recommended motor timing (here for example 15° for the Hacker A50-Turnado 10pole).
Hier die Motorpolzahl entsprechend Ihrem Motor eingeben (im Beispiel Hacker A50-Turnado 10polig).
Select the pole count of your motor (here as example the Hacker A50-Turnado 10pole)

Die Untersetzung des Hauptgetriebes eingeben.
Set the gear ratio of your helicopter.
Einstellen der BEC Spannung (in unserem Beispiel 6Volt).
Set the voltage of the BEC (example here 6volts)

Da der Master MEZON Regler im Mode “FAST RESPONSE” sehr schnell nachregeln kann, sind auch
folgende Anpassungen in der V-Stabi SW erforderlich. Die gezeigten Werte können je nach Modell,
Drehzahl und Flugstil auch abweichen. Durch den gezeigt erhöhten DMA-Wert lässt sich ein
„Schwänzeln“ des Helis bei hohen Pitchwerten vermeiden. Hier zum Beispiel die Werte für einen
Logo600SE.
The master MEZON ESC in the mode "FAST RESPONSE" can react very quickly to changes of the
throttelchannel, we recommend the following changes in the V-Bar software. The values that are
shown may are depending on the model, speed and flight style as well. With this value of DMA a
oszillate of the rudder can be avoid while giving high pitch values. For example here the value of the
DMA for a Logo600SE.
Klicken Sie auf den Doktorhut im Einstellfeld “Heckrotor“.
Klick at the doctors hat in the tail rotor field.

Setzen Sie den Wert bei “DMA” auf ~45.
Set the value torque precomp. Collective to ~45.
Und nicht vergessen: die Getriebeuntersetzung und die Motorpolzahl:2 sowie die max. Drehzahl
korrekt setzen.
Please don’t forget to make the right settings for max. headspeed, gear ratio and sensor configuration
(motor poles:2)
