DEAR CUSTOMER
Thank you for having chosen a HÆGER product.
The HÆGER products have been produced to think about the welfare of the consumer
privileging the most raised standards of quality, functionality and assign. We are sure
you will be happy with this appliance.
Before using the appliance for the first time please read carefully and thoroughly
through these operating instructions and the safety advice, completely familiarising
yourself with the appliance. Retain these instructions for future reference and pass
them on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•Read these instructions carefully before using the hair trimmer.
•Make sure that the mains supply coincides with the voltage shown
on the appliance specifications plate.
•Switch off the appliance when not in use, even if only for a moment.
•Periodically check the condition of the cord. If the cord is damaged,
take the appliance to an Authorised Service Shop.
•Do not use it if the comb accessory is damaged or broken or if any
blade teeth are missing.
•For proper performance, the blades should be clean, with no traces
of hair. For this purpose, clean them before and after each use with
the brush supplied.
•Do not use the appliance near a bath or a washbasin with water in,
or any other receptacle containing water.
•Protect the appliance from moisture and splashing water and do not
operate it with wet hands.
•If the appliance is used in a bathroom, the presence of water
represents a danger even if the appliance is switched off. Therefore,
always remove the plug from the wall socket after use.

•Before the appliance is used, the main body as well as any
attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects.
Should the appliance, for instance, have been dropped onto a hard
surface, it must no longer be used: even invisible damage may have
adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance.
•Always switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket after
use, as well as - in cases of malfunction, and - during cleaning.
•When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the
power cord; always grip the plug itself.
•Caution: the trimming blade is extremely sharp; to prevent injuries,
ensure that always during use the blade does not touch the skin.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved.
•Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
•Children shall not play with the appliance.
•To ensure your children ‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic
bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
WARNING!
Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the bags as there is a
danger of suffocation!
•To protect children or frail individuals from the hazards of
electrical equipment, please ensure that this device is only used
under supervision. This device is not a toy. Do not allow small
children to play with it.
•No responsibility is accepted if damage results from improper use,
or if these instructions are not complied with.

CAUTION!
Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by manufacturer.
Do not use this product if it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water.
CHARGING YOUR PERSONAL GROOMER
Before using your personal groomer for the first time, charge for 8 hours.
There are two methods to charge the appliance.
Direct connection –connect the adaptor plug directly into the body. (Fig.27)
Using charging stand - connect the adaptor plug directly into the charging stand and
then put the appliance into the stand. (Fig.6)
1. Ensure the product is switched off.
2. Place your personal groomer into the charging stand, connect the charging
adaptor to the product and then to the mains. The charging indicator will light
up. (Fig.28)
3. Run time from fully charged is up to 45 minutes.
4. Your personal groomer cannot be overcharged. However, if the product is not
going to be used for an extended period time(2-3mouths), unplug it from the
mains and store. Fully recharge your personal groomer when you would like to
use it again.
5. To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every six months then
recharge for 8 hours.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Attaching and removing the trimmer attachments (Fig.13 –16)
NOTE: Always ensure the personal groomer is switched off before changing any
attachments.
To attach - place the desired trimming head on top of the groomer and rotate
clockwise to lock onto place.
To remove - hold the personal groomer with one hand and turn the trimmer head
anticlockwise with the other.
Attaching and removing the guide combs (Fig.17 –24)
To attach - With the trimmer blade facing away from you, slide the guide comb on
top of the clipper blade and click into position.
To remove - With the trimmer blade facing away from you, carefully push the guide
comb away from the trimmer blade.
Pressing the adjustment button on the back of the comb will alter the cutting length
increment, this is indicated on the comb.
Before you begin
Comb facial hair with a fine comb before you start trimming.
Always comb your beard or moustache with a fine comb before you start trimming.
Hairs should be dry and without any waxes or lotions before using the groomer.
To thin and taper the beard/moustache (Fig.1)
1. Attach a guide comb to full size trimmer (fig.17). If you are trimmer for the first
time start with the maximum trimming length setting. (from 12 to 24mm in 10
steps) (Fig.18-20).
2. Turn the unit on and place the flat top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
3. Slowly slide the personal groomer through the hair. Repeat from different
directions as necessary.
4. If hair builds up in the trimmer comb during the trimming process, switch the
unit off, pull off the comb and brush/rinse off. (Fig. 25-26)
To define the beard/moustache line (Fig.2)
1. Attach the precision trimmer attachment. (Fig.13-16)
2. Hold the personal groomer with precision trimmer blade facing you.

3. Start with edge of beard/moustache line and gently lower the trimmer blade
onto your skin. Use motions towards edge of beard/moustache line to trim to
desired locations in facial area and away from beard in neck area. (Fig.12)
Trimming edge of sideburns (Fig.3)
1. Hold the beard trimmer with the wide trimmer blade or detailed trimmer blade
facing you
2. Start with edge of sideburn, and with the trimmer blades resting lightly against
your skin, use motions towards edge of sideburn line to trim the desired
locations in facial area.
Using the micro shaver trimmer (Fig.4)
1. Attach the micro shaver trimmer.
2. Hold the groomer so the micro shaver gently touches your face in a 45-degree
angle.
3. Use short, well-controlled movements to shave around your Beard/Moustache.
Use your free hand to stretch your skin. This encourages the hair to stand
upright, making it easier to shave.
NOTE: The micro shaver was designed to shave the detail areas around your
beard/moustache/sideburns. It was not designed to shave your entire face.
Trimming the nape of your neck (Fig.5)
NOTE: You will need a hand mirror for this operation if performing it alone.
1. Before you begin, attach the full-size trimmer blade.
2. Use your fingers to lift the hair at the base of your head up off the neck. Your
index finger should be covering the roots of the hairs you are lifting to prevent
accidental removal by the personal groomer.
3. Using your other hand, hold the personal groomer to the base of your neck with
the cutting unit facing up, and move the personal groomer up the length of the
neck until it touches your finger covering the hair roots at the base of your head.
4. Be sure to move the unit slowly when performing this operation and to keep the
hair roots at the base of your head out of the way of the trimmer.
To remove hair from ear and nose (Fig.7 & 8)
1. Attach nose/ear trimmer attachment.
2. Insert the personal groomer gently into ear or nose.
3. Gently move the groomer in and out of the ear or nose and at the same time
rotate.

4. Avoid inserting the cutting unit more than 6mm into your nostril or ear.
Trimming body hair (Fig.10 and 11)
1. Attach the body hair trimmer attachment head.
2. To achieve the desired hair length, change the guide comb by easily sliding it
onto one of the three slots on the attachment head. The different slots
represent 3mm, 6mm and 9mm hair lengths. (Fig.23-24)
3. Place the flat top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
4. Slowly slide the trimmer through the hair, in the direction of hair growth.
5. Use slow and well-controlled movements.
6. If hair builds up in the guide comb during the trimming process, switch the unit
off, pull off the guide comb. Brush trimmer / rinse comb.
Tips for best results
•Beard, moustache and sideburn hairs should be dry.
•Avoid using lotions before using your personal groomer.
•Comb your hair in the direction that it grows so that the hairs are at their
maximum height and facing in the same direction. (Fig.9)
•After trimming, lightly go over the trimmed areas with the foil to get a smooth
clean finish.
•Since all hairs do not grow in the same direction, you may want to try different
trimming positions (i.e. upwards, downwards or across) for better results.
CARE AND CLEANING
When cleaning the appliance, just separate the appliance, as the pic shows. Then use
the cleaning brush, clear the dust by cleaning the inside parts. (Fig.25-26)
After each use
1. Turn the personal groomer off.
2. Gently brush the remaining hairs away/rinse under warm water from the guide
comb and trimmer blade.
Cleaning cautions
With IPX7 standards, can be rinsed directly under running water and cleaned the
blot attached to the trimmer head completely (Fig.31)
•Only the guide comb attachment and trimmer blade may be removed from the
product for cleaning.

•Cleaning should only be done with a soft brush, such as the brush supplied with
the product.
•Only use the light-grade oil supplied or sewing machine oil on the blades.
•Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their blades.
Storage
•Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. Do not store it in
temperatures exceeding 60℃
•Do not wrap the cord of the charging adaptor around the appliance.

Battery
The product contains a Nickel Metal Hydride cell unit. Do not dispose the
trimmer in household waste at the end of its useful life.
Disposal can take place at service centres of appropriate collection sites.
CAUTION: Do not put in fire or mutilate your battery packs they may burst or
release toxic materials.
Battery removal
The battery must be removed from the device before being it disposed of safely.
1. Make sure the appliance is completely discharged.
2. Remove the trimmer head from the appliance.
3. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the back cover. With the help of a small
screwdriver, carefully remove a cover.
4. Remove the cover from the ON / OFF button and open the two halves exposing
the battery compartment.
5. Using a scissors cut the wires and twist the battery connection to the printed
circuit board and remove the batteries.
Disposal
This appliance is marked according to the European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential
negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could
otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product.
This symbol on the product, or on the documents accompanying the
product, indicates that this appliance may not be treated as household
waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
Disposal must be carried out in accordance with local environmental regulations for
waste disposal. For more detailed information about treatment, recovery and
recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste

GUARANTEE
This unit is covered by a 24 months (*) warranty, from the purchase date, and covers
the repair free of charges of the damaged due to the manufacturer fault or defected
components. The distributor reserves the right to change the unit for an equivalent
model.
The warranty does not cover any damaged caused by incorrect use, lightning,
incorrect installation, external factors or any intentional damaged. The warranty does
not cover damage thus attributable to falls, blows, spill, exposure to extreme
environmental conditions or deterioration caused by normal use of plastic parts or
keyboards, as well as using batteries other than those specified in this manual.
For the repairing, during the warranty period, the unit shall be sent to the distributor
or reseller, or to the address indicated by them, and must be jointed the warranty
certificated and the respective original invoice or selling ticket, where the buying date
is expressed indicated.
The consumer is protected by the guarantee provided by Directive 1999/44/CE of
European Parliament and Council of 25 May.

CARREGAR O SEU APARADOR PESSOAL
Antes de utilizar o aparador pela primeira vez, carregue-o durante 8 horas.
Existem dois métodos para carregar o aparelho.
Ligação direta - inserir a ficha do adaptador diretamente no aparelho. (Fig.27)
Utilizando o suporte de carga –inserir a ficha do adaptador diretamente no
suporte de carga e em seguida colocar o aparador no suporte. (Fig. 6)
1. Certifique-se de que o aparador está desligado.
2. Coloque o aparador no suporte de carga, ligue o adaptador de carga ao produto
e depois à rede elétrica. O indicador de carga acenderá. (Fig.28)
3. Uma carga completa fornece até 45 minutos de tempo de funcionamento.
4. O aparador não pode ser sobrecarregado. No entanto, se o aparador não for
utilizado por um período prolongado (2-3mouths), desligue-o da rede elétrica e
armazena. Recarregue completamente o aparador quando quiser usar
novamente.
5. Para preservar a vida de suas baterias, deixe-as descarregar completamente a
cada seis meses e recarregue-as por 8 horas.

INSTRUÇÕES DE UTILIZAÇÃO
Encaixar e retirar os acessórios de corte (Fig.13 –16)
NOTA: certifique-se de que o aparador se encontra desligado antes de mudar os
acessórios.
Para encaixar - coloque a cabeça de corte desejada no topo do aparador e rode
para a direita bloqueando-a no sítio.
Para retirar - rode a cabeça do aparador para a esquerda até desbloqueá-la e, em
seguida, levante e retire-a do aparador.
Encaixar e retirar os pentes guia (Fig.17 –24)
Para encaixar - com a lâmina do aparador posicionada de costas para si, deslize o
pente guia sobre o topo da lâmina do aparador e encaixe-o na posição.
Para remover - com a lâmina do aparador posicionada de costas para si, empurre
cuidadosamente o pente guia para fora da lâmina do aparador.
Ao premir o botão de ajuste na parte traseira do pente poderá alterar o incremento
de comprimento de corte que é indicado no pente.
Antes de começar
Penteie o pelo facial com um pente fino antes de começar a aparar.
Penteie a barba ou o bigode com um pente fino antes de começar a cortar.
Os cabelos devem estar secos e sem ceras ou loções antes de usar o aparador.
Para aparar e modular a barba / bigode (Fig. 1)
1. Encaixe um pente de guia para aparador largo (Fig.17). Se for aparar pela
primeira vez, comece com a configuração de comprimento de corte máximo.
(de 12 a 24mm em 10 passos) (Fig.18-20)
2. Ligue a unidade e em seguida coloque a parte superior plana do pente aparador
contra a pele.
3. Deslize lentamente o aparador através do cabelo. Repita de diferentes direções,
conforme necessário.
4. Se o cabelo se acumular no pente do aparador durante o processo de corte,
desligue a unidade, retire o pente e escove / enxague. (Fig.25-26)
Aparar o contorno da barba ou bigode (Fig.2)
1. Encaixe o aparador de precisão. (Fig.13-16)
2. Posicione o aparador de modo que a lâmina de corte se encontre de frente para
si.

3. Comece pela extremidade do contorno da barba/bigode, e com as lâminas de
corte suavemente apoiadas na pele, use movimentos lentos para criar o
contorno da barba/bigode. (Fig.12)
Aparar patilhas (Fig.3)
1. Segure o aparador de barba com a lâmina do aparador largo ou a lâmina do
aparador de precisão virada para si.
2. Comece pela fronteira da patilha e com as lâminas do aparador encostadas ao
de leve sobre a pele, faça movimentos na direção da fronteira da linha da
patilha para aparar as zonas desejadas da área facial.
Usar o aparador micro barbeador (Fig.4)
1. Coloque o aparador micro barbeador.
2. Segure o aparador para que o micro barbeador toque suavemente o rosto em
um ângulo de 45 graus.
3. Use movimentos curtos e bem controlados para barbear em torno de sua
barba/bigode. Use sua mão livre para esticar sua pele. Isso encoraja o pelo a
ficar direito, tornando o barbear mais fácil.
NOTA: O micro barbeador foi concebido para barbear as áreas de detalhes em torno
de sua barba/bigode/patilhas. Não foi concebida para barbear a totalidade do rosto.
Aparar a nuca (Fig.5)
NOTA: Você precisará de um espelho de mão para esta operação se estiver
executando sozinho.
1. Antes de começar, encaixe a lâmina do aparador longo.
2. Use os dedos para levantar o cabelo na base da cabeça para fora do pescoço. O
seu dedo indicador deverá cobrir as raízes do cabelo que levanta para evitar um
corte acidental do aparador.
3. Com a outra mão, segure no aparador contra a base do pescoço com a unidade
de corte virada para cima, e mova o aparador para cima ao longo do pescoço
até tocar nos dedos que cobrem as raízes da base da cabeça.
4. Assegure-se de que move a unidade lentamente ao executar esta operação e de
que mantém as raízes na base da cabeça fora do caminho do aparador.
Remover pelos do nariz e das orelhas (Fig.7 e 8)
1. Encaixe o acessório de nariz/orelhas.
2. Introduza gentilmente a unidade de corte do aparador na narina ou ouvido.
