Dear customer
Thank you for having chosen a HÆGER product.
The HÆGER products have been produced to think about the welfare
of the consumer privileging the most raised standards of quality,
functionality and assign. We are sure you will be happy with this
appliance.
Before using the appliance for the first time please read carefully and
thoroughly through these operating instructions and the safety
advice, completely familiarising yourself with the appliance. Retain
these instructions for future reference and pass them on to whoever
might acquire the appliance at a future date.
General Safety Instructions
Before you start using the shaver, read carefully the
instructions in this manual.
•Make sure that the mains supply coincides with the voltage shown
on the adapter specifications plate.
•Make sure the adapter does not get wet.
•Do not use the shaver, adapter, or any other part if it is damaged,
as this may cause injury. Always replace a damaged adapter with
one of the original type.
•Do not use this shaver if it is not working correctly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or dropped in water.
•An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in to a
power outlet, except when charging.
•Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces.
•Make sure the power plug and cord do not get wet.
•Switch off the appliance when not in use, even if only for a
moment.

•Protect the appliance from moisture and splashing water and do
not operate it with wet hands.
•Store the product at a temperature between 10°C and 35°C
•Always switch off and remove the cable from the wall socket after
use, as well as - in cases of malfunction, and - during cleaning.
•Always put the protection cap on the shaver to protect the shaving
heads when you are travelling.
•Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken head or
cutters, as facial injury may occur.
•The blade or foil has fixed life. To obtain best result, we
recommend you replace the blade regularly.
•Shavers, including the trimmer are for use on facial hair only. They
should not be used for shaving the hair on your head or any other
part of your body.
•The appliance may be used by children 8 years or older and by
persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities, if they are
under supervision or if they have been instructed in the use of the
appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential risks.
Children must not carry out cleaning and maintenance of the
appliance, unless they are 8 years or older and under supervision.
Children younger than 8 years have to be kept away from the
appliance and its power supply.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.

Charging
When you charge the shaver for the first time or after a long
period of disuse, let it charge continuously for about 16
hours or the product cannot be started or used normally.
1. Prior to charging check that the voltage of your power supply
corresponds the specifications of the shaver.
2. The appliance must be charged at room temperature in the
range of 5° to 35° C.
3. Prior to charging, make sure that the shaver and the electric
outlet are perfectly dry, and the on/off switch is in “off”
position (Fig.1).
4. Put the small plug in the shaver (Fig.2).
5. Put the adapter in the wall socket (Fig.3)
6. The charging light shows the charging status of the shaver.
7. Please unplug the adaptor after 8 hours charge.
Note 1: Generally, 8 hours charging may last 50 minutes, we
suggest you take charging after using at least 40 minutes or
charging only the shaver is powerless as it may strongly prolong the
use life.
Note 2: The shaving time may be less because of your shaving
behaviour, your cleanings habits or your beard type.

How to use
Attention: In the event of damage of the shaving blades do
not use the shaver and replace the shaving blade.
Shaving
1. Remove the cover and push the switch up to turn the shaver
on.
2. Hold the shaver at right angles (90°) to the skin. Stretch the skin
and shave against the direction of beard growth (Fig.5).
3. Be careful and do not press too hard when shaving, you could
injure your skin. Mastering shaving with a new shaver may
take some time.
4. After shaving, switch the shaver off and place back the cover of
the shaving foil.
Trimming
You can use the trimmer to groom your sideburns and moustache.
1. Push the trimmer slide upwards to open the trimmer (Fig.6).
2. Slide the on/off button up to switch on the shaver (Fig.4).
3. Start trimming (Fig.6).
4. After trimming, slide the on/off button down to switch off the
shaver.
5. To retract and switch off the trimmer, push the trimmer down
and lock into place.
Shaving tips and tricks
•Wait at least 10 minutes after getting up before shaving, to
ensure your face is free of puffiness that may be present from
sleeping.

•Always hold the shaver at a right angle to the skin so that all
three heads are touching the skin with equal pressure.
•The use of short, circular motions in stubborn areas may obtain a
closer shave, especially along the neck and chin line.
•Do not press hard against the skin to avoid irritation and/or
damage to the rotary heads.
•Recommend you use your new shaver daily for up to four weeks
to allow time for your hair and skin to become accustomed to the
new shaving system.
Cleaning and maintenance
Care for your appliance to ensure a long-lasting performance.
We recommend you clean your product after each use.
The easiest and most hygienic way to clean the appliance is by rinsing
the appliance head after use with warm water.
Keep the switch in the “off” position when not in use.
1. Push the switch of shaver to position off to turn off the shaver
and cut off the power cord.
2. With the foils assembly in place, apply some liquid soap into
the foils assembly. (Fig.7).
3. Turn the shaver on and pour some water over the outer foil
(Fig.8).
4. After about 30 seconds, turn the shaver off, remove the foils
assembly and clean it with running water and let it dry
completely (Fig.9).
5. Wipe off any moisture from the shaver with a dry cloth.
Cleaning Trimmer
•Lubricate the teeth of the trimmer every six months with a drop
of sewing machine oil.

Removing the rechargeable shaver battery
•When your rechargeable shaver reaches the end of its useful life,
the batteries must be removed from the shaver and be recycled
or disposed of properly in accordance with your state and local
requirements.
•The method to disassemble shaver and take out the battery is
indicated in (Fig.10). You may need one gad tongs and one cross
screwdriver to complete the resolution of shaver.
Caution! Do not put in fire or mutilate your batteries when
disposing as they may burst and release toxic materials.
Conformity
This appliance complies with all applicable standards and
regulations regarding electromagnetic fields (EMF).
Environment
Please consider our environment
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic
waste. This product is subject to the European guideline
2012/19/EU. Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal
centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently
applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste
disposal centre.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally responsible
manner.
When you wish to dispose of the appliance, remove the cable and
dispose it in an environmentally friendly way (e.g. recycling plant).
