EN
4.6 Super Freeze
In Super freeze mode, the freezer temperature is set to -30 °C. The Super freeze function is
designed to maintain the nutritional value of the food in the freezer.
This function freezes food quickly. If you freeze a large amount of food at one time, it is
recommended that you set the Super freeze function 24 hours in advance to lower the freezer
temperature. When the food is added, the freezing speed of the freezer compartment is
increased, and the food will be frozen quickly, effectively locking nutrients into the food and
facilitating storage. The Super Freeze function switches off automatically after 50 hours; the
freezer will then run according to the latest setting before entering Super Freeze mode.
4.7 AutoSet function
In AutoSet mode, refrigerating/freezing is set to 5 °C / -18 °C, respectively. In this mode, the
temperature of the refrigerating compartment and the freezing compartment cannot be
adjusted. If the Super Cool, Super Freeze or Holiday function is set, the AutoSet function
automatically closes and exits.
4.8 Holiday function
The Holiday function is designed to facilitate long-term use of the refrigerating compartment.
In Holiday mode, the refrigerating temperature is set to 17 °C, so that the refrigerator cannot
cause odours due to excessive temperature and energy will be saved. In Holiday mode, the
refrigeration temperature cannot be adjusted, but the temperature of the MyZone
compartment and the freezer compartment can be adjusted.
WARNING!
Please clear the refrigeration compartment before entering Holiday function to prevent food
from deteriorating. When Holiday function is activated, the Auto Set and Super Cool functions
cannot be activated at the same time.

Tips on storing fresh food
Storage in the refrigerator compartment
ŹKeep your fridge temperature below 5°C.
ŹHot food must be cooled to room temperature before storing in the appliance.
ŹFood should be washed and dried before storing in the refrigerator.
ŹFood should be properly sealed before storage to prevent alteration of odour or taste.
ŹDo not store excessive quantities of food. Leave spaces between foods to allow cold air to flow
around them for better and more homogeneous cooling.
ŹFoods eaten daily should be stored at the front of the shelf.
ŹLeave a gap between foods and the inner walls to allow air to flow. Be sure not to store food
against the rear wall: food could freeze against the rear wall. Avoid direct contact of food
(especially oily or acidic food) with the inner lining as oils and acids can erode the inner lining.
Clean away oily and acidic substances whenever found.
ŹDefrost frozen food in the refrigerator storage compartment. This way, you can use the frozen
food to lower the temperature in the compartment and save energy.
ŹRipening of fruitand vegetables such as courgettes, melons, papaya, banana, pineapple, etc. can be
accelerated in the refrigerator, and so it is not advisable to store these foods in the refrigerator.
Ripeningofverygreenfruitcan,however,beaccomplishedfora certainperiodoftime.Onions,garlic,
ginger and other root vegetables should also be stored at room temperature.
ŹUnpleasant odours inside the fridge are a sign that something has spilled and cleaning is
required. See CARE AND CLEANING.
ŹDifferent foods should be placed in different areas, according to their properties:
Notice
ŹPlease maintain a distance of more than 10 mm between food and air ducts or sensors to
ensure the cooling effect.

4.Use
Storage in the freezer compartment
ŹKeep the freezer temperature at- 18°C.
ŹSwitch on the Power-Freeze function 24 hours before freezing food; 4-6 hours will be sufficient
for small quantities of food.
ŹHot food must be cooled to room temperature before storing in the freezer compartment.
ŹFood cut into small portions will freeze faster and be easier to defrost and cook. The recommended
weight for each portionis less than 2.5 kg
ŹIt is best to pack food before putting it into the freezer. The outside of the packaging must be
dry so that bags will not stick together. Packaging materials should be odour-free, airtight, non-
poisonous and nontoxic.
ŹIn order to prevent food from expiring, please make a note of the freezing date, time limit and
name of the food on the packaging, according to the recommended storage periods for
different foods.
ŹWARNING!: Acid, alkali, salt, etc. could erode the inside surface of the freezer. Do not place
food containing these substances (such as seafood) directly on the inner surface of the freezer.
Salt water in the freezer must be cleaned up immediately.
ŹDo not exceed the food storage times recommended by manufacturers. Take only the
required amount of food out of the freezer.
ŹConsumedefrosted food quickly. Defrosted food cannot be frozen again unless it iscooked first.
ŹDo not put excessive quantities of fresh food in the freezer compartment. Refer to the freezing
capacity of the freezer - See TECHNICAL DATA or the data on the type plate.
ŹFood may be stored in the freezer at a temperature of at least -18°C for 2 to 12 months,
depending on its properties (e.g., meat: 3-12 months, vegetables: 6-12 months)
ŹWhenfreezing freshfood,avoidcontactwithfoodthatisalreadyfrozen,asthismaycauseittothaw.
When storing commercially frozen foods, please follow these guidelines:
ŹAlways follow the manufacturers' guidelines for the length of time you should store food in the
freezer. Do not exceed these guidelines!
ŹTry to keep the length of time between purchase and storage as short as possible to preserve
food quality.
ŹBuy frozen foods which have been stored at a temperature of -18 °C or below.
ŹAvoid buying food which has ice or frost on the packaging - This indicates that the products
might have been partially defrosted and frozen again at some point. Temperature rises affect
the quality of food.
