Donot,underanycircumstances,cutorremovethethird
(ground) prong from the power cord. For personal safety,
this appliance must be properly grounded.

IMPORTANT:Whenmovingtherefrigerator,nevertiltit
morethana45°angle.Thiscoulddamagethecompressor
andthesealedsystem.Iftherefrigeratorhasbeenplaced
inahorizontalpositionforanyperiodoftime,wait24hours
beforepluggingintherefrigeratortoallowtherefrigerantto
settle.
1.Removeallpackagingmaterial.Thisincludesthe
corrugatedbaseandalladhesivetapeholdingthe
refrigeratoraccessoriesinsideandoutside.
2.Inspectandremoveanyremainsofpacking,tapeorprinted
materialsbeforepoweringontherefrigerator.
3.Ifyourrefrigeratorcomeswithsmoothorstainlesssteel
doors,pleaseremovetheclearfilmbeforeturningitonfor
thefirsttime. Whenremovingthefilm,donotpullthefilm
straightdownasthiscouldresultinmisaligneddoors.
4.Itisnormalforthefreezerdoortobepositionedslightly
higherthanthetopofthecabinetwhentherefrigerator
isfirstinstalled. Thispositioningisdoneatthefactoryto
ensureapropergasketsealoncethedoorisweightedwith
fooditems.

refrigerator.
•Clockwise-toraise
•Counterclockwise-tolower
UsingSpacers(provided)
•Openthedoor.Withthedooropen,liftthedoorupward.
•Byhandorusingpliers,clipthespacer(provided)ontothe
centerhingepin.
OPENINGANDCLOSINGDOORS
Therearetworefrigeratorcompartmentdoors.Thedoors
canbeopenedandclosedeitherseparatelyortogether.
•Thereisavertically-hingedbarontheleft-handrefrigerator
door.
•Whenclosingtheleft-handrefrigeratordoor,thehingedbar
foldsbehindtheright-handdoorjoiningthetworefrigerator
doors.
•Thereisaheatingelementinsidetheframethathelps
preventmoisturefromdevelopingonthebar.The
temperatureofthesurfacemaybewarm,whichisnormal,
andwillnotaffecttheperformanceoftherefrigerator.
