1. Your Halo™ Evacuation Chair should only be used by competent operators.
2. User training on the Halo™ Evacuation Chair should be conducted in line with
manufacturers guidelines, as stated in this user guide.
3. Quarterly practice with the Halo™ Evacuation Chair is recommended to ensure sta
remain trained and competent.
4. Two-person operation is recommended for heavier passengers.
5. Only genuine Halo™ Evacuation parts should be used when maintaining the Halo™
Evacuation Chair.
6. To ensure the optimal performance of the Halo™ Evacuation Chair, belts should be
rotated every 3 months.

Halo Swift
Specifications
The Halo Swift™ is a lightweight evacuation chair, designed
for one person operation. Its unique track system provides
a smooth and controlled evacuation, for both the operator
and passenger. With anti-slip grips on the handle enhancing
operator control and a footrest with integrated footstrap,
the Halo Swift ™ provides comfort to the passenger.

VISUAL INSPECTION
Halo™ Evacuation recommend that the following checks
are carried out every 3 months.
DEPLOYMENT/STORAGE
Ensure chair deployment is smooth
No interference when chair is deployed or stored
Ensure kickstand extends and retracts correctly
CHECK WHEELS
No cracking of wheel or hub
No splitting of wheels
No malfunction of castor wheel brake
Ensure wheels are free to rotate without impediment
CHECK HAMMOCK
No obvious threading around seams
No ripping of hammock material
Check belt buckle operates correctly
CHECK HEADREST
No obvious threading around seams
No ripping of headrest material
Ensure the headrest is free to move up and
down the handle
CHECK BELTS
Rotate belts every 3 months
No deep cracks or rips
No bulging
CHECK FOOTREST
Ensure footrest deploys and stores correctly
