•The product is intended for private, non-
commercial use only.
•Donot use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
•Protect the product from dirt, moistureand
overheating, and only use it in adry environment.

the reach of children!

Children may not clean the product or perform
user maintenance without supervision.

4. Getting started and operation
Note
•The product is mains or battery operated. For
mains operation, you merely have to connect
the product to apower source (see Section
4.2). Forbattery operation, the product must
rst be fully charged (see Section 4.1).
Note
•Only use original accessories (or accessories
approved by Hama), to prevent damage to
the product.
•Only operate the product in ambient
temperatures between -10°C and 50°C.
•Only storethe product in ambient temperatures
between -20°C and 60°C.
Note
•Only connect the product to asocket that has
been approved for the device.
•Ifyou will not be using the product for along
period of time, disconnect it from mains power.
4.1 Battery operation
Warning –Rechargeable battery
•Only use suitable charging devices for
charging.
•Asarule, do not use charging devices or USB
connections that aredefective and do not try
to repair them yourself.
•Avoid storing, charging or using batteries in
extreme temperatures.
•When stored over along period of time,
batteries should be charged regularly (at least
every three months).
•The product has arechargeable battery.
•Charge the product fully beforeusing it for the
rst time.
•Connect the supplied Micro-USB charging cable to
the product’sMicro-USB port (14).
•Connect the unused connector on the Micro-USB
charging cable to asuitable USB charger.Please
refer to the operating instructions for the USB
charger used.
•The current charge level is shown on the display
during charging.

Note –Charging
•Ittakes about 3hours to fully charge the
battery.
•The product’sbattery can be charged whether
the product is on or off.
•Ifthe battery charge is less than 30%, the
message ‘Warning: Lowbattery’ appears once.
•Ifthe battery charge is less than 10%, this
message appears every minute.
•You will only receive this information if the
device is on.
•The actual battery life varies depending on use of
the device, the settings and the ambient conditions
(rechargeable batteries have alimited service life).
4.2 Operation via mains connection/Micro-USB
Warning
•The German StVZO (Road TracLicensing
Regulations) apply when using the product
on the road.
•Take carethat components such as airbags,
safety areas, controls, instruments, etc. and
visibility arenot blocked or restricted. Do
not allow yourself to be distracted by the
product, for example when driving avehicle
or operating sports equipment. Always pay
attention to the surrounding tracand your
environment.
•Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the
Micro-USB port (14) of the device.
•Connect the unused plug on the USB cable to the
supplied vehicle USB adapter.
•Connect the vehicle USB adapter to a12Vsocket
of your vehicle.
4.3 Antenna connection
Connect the included dipole antenna to the product’s
antenna connection (13) to optimise reception.
4.4 Switching the product on and off
Switching on the product
•Press [ /](10) to switch on the device.
Switching off the product
•Press [ / ](10) to switch off the device.
•Press [ / ](10) to switch the device to standby
mode during charging or to exit standby mode.
4.5 Initial setup
Note
•Make surethat the antenna has been properly
connected.
•When you switch on for the rst time, the device is
in DAB/DAB+ mode and begins immediately with
the station search.
•Press and hold [ /](10) for about 3seconds
if you would like to start the search manually at
alater time.
5. Button assignment
Buttons 10–12 have adual function assignment:
•Brieypress the button to select the function
specied rst on the button description.
•Press and hold the button for about 3seconds
to select the function specied last on the button
description.
In addition, the button function differs in the
playback screen and in the function menu as follows:

6. Language
At initial startup, the language of the radio defaults
to English. To change the menu language of the
radio, proceed as follows:
•Press [ /](11) to access the settings menu.
•Use the navigation buttons (7/9) to navigate to
the ‘System’ menu item.
•Conrm your selection by pressing [OK] (8).
•Use the navigation buttons (7/9) to navigate to
the ‘Language’ menu item. Conrm your selection
by pressing [OK] (8).
•Use the navigation buttons (7/9) to select your
desired system language.
•The language setting currently selected is marked
with an asterisk (*).
7. Care and Maintenance
•Only clean this product with aslightly damp,
lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning
agents.
•Ifyou do not use the product for along time, turn
off the device and disconnect it from the power
supply.Storeitinaclean, dry place out of direct
sunlight.

4. Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb
Hinweis
•Sie haben die Möglichkeit, das Produkt im
Netzbetrieb und im Akkubetrieb zu nutzen.
Um das Produkt im Netzbetrieb zu nutzen,
muss dieses lediglich an eine Stromquelle
angeschlossen werden (siehe Kapitel 4.2). Um
das Produkt im Akkubetrieb zu nutzen, muss
dieses vorher vollständig aufgeladen werden
(siehe Kapitel 4.1).
Hinweis
•Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Originalzubehör
(oder: von Hama freigegebenes Zubehör), um
Schäden am Produkt zu vermeiden.
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur bei einer
Umgebungstemperatur von -10°C bis 50°C.
•Lagern Sie das Produkt nur bei einer
Umgebungstemperatur von -20 °C bis 60°C.
Bedienungshinweise

4.1 Akkubetrieb
Warnung –Akku
•Verwenden Sie nur geeignete Ladegeräte zum
Auaden.
•Verwenden Sie defekte Ladegeräte oder USB
Anschlüsse generell nicht mehr und versuchen
Sie nicht, diese zu reparieren.
•Vermeiden Sie Lagerung, Laden und
Benutzung bei extremen Temperaturen.
•Laden Sie bei längerer Lagerung regelmäßig
(mind. vierteljährig) nach.
•Das Produkt verfügt über einen wieder auadbaren
Akku.
•Laden Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch das Produkt
einmal vollständig auf.
•Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Micro-USB
Ladekabel am Micro-USB Anschluss (14) des
Produktes an.
•Schließen Sie den freien Stecker des Micro-USB
Ladekabels an einem geeigneten USB Ladegerät
an. Beachten Sie hierzu die Bedienungsanleitung
des verwendeten USB Ladegeräts.
•Während des Ladevorgangs wirdder aktuelle
Ladezustand auf dem Display angezeigt.
Hinweis –Ladevorgang
•Ein kompletter Ladevorgang dauert ca. 3
Stunden.
•Der Akku des Produktes kann sowohl in ein-
als auch ausgeschaltetem Zustand geladen
werden.
•Beträgt die Akkukapazität weniger als 30%,
erscheint einmalig der Hinweis „Achtung:
Akkustand niedrig“.
•Beträgt die Akkukapazität weniger als 10%,
erscheint dieser Hinweis jede Minute.
•Diese Information erhalten Sie nur bei
eingeschaltetem Gerät.
•Die tatsächliche Akkulaufzeit variiert ja nach
Nutzung des Gerätes, den Einstellungen und
Umgebungsbedingungen (Akkus haben eine
begrenzte Lebensdauer).
4.2 Betrieb über Netzanschluss/Micro USB
Warnung
•Beim Einsatz des Produktes im Straßenverkehr
gelten die Vorschriften der StVZO.
•Beachten Sie, dass keine Komponenten,
wie der Airbag, Sicherheitsbereiche,
Bedienelemente, Instrumente, etc. oder die
Sicht, verdeckt oder eingeschränkt sind. Lassen
Sie sich auf der Fahrt mit einem Kraftfahrzeug
oder Sportgerät nicht durch Ihr Produkt
ablenken und achten Sie auf die Verkehrslage
und IhreUmgebung.
•Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte USB-Ladekabel am
MicroUSB-Anschluss (14) des Geräts an.
•Schließen Sie den freien Stecker des USB-Kabels
am mitgelieferten Kfz-USB-Adapter an.
•Verbinden Sie den KFZ-USB-Adapter mit einer 12V
Steckdose Ihres Fahrzeugs.
4.3 Antennenanschluss
Schließen Sie die beiliegende Wurfantenne am
Antennenanschluss (13) des Produktes an, um den
Empfang zu optimieren.
4.4 Ein- /Ausschalten
Einschalten
•Drücken Sie [ /](10), um das Gerät
einzuschalten.
Ausschalten
•Drücken Sie [ /](10), um das Gerät
auszuschalten.
•Drücken Sie [ /](10), um das Gerät während
des Ladevorgangs in den Standby-Modus zu
versetzen bzw.den Standby-Modus zu beenden.

4.5 Ersteinrichtung
Hinweis
•Stellen Sie sicher,dass die
Antennenverbindung ordnungsgemäß
hergestellt wurde.
•Nach dem Einschalten bendet sich das Gerät im
DAB/DAB+ Modus und beginnt sofort mit dem
Sendersuchlauf.
•Durch Drücken und Halten von [ /](10) für
ca. 3Sekunden kann der Suchvorgang zu einem
späteren Zeitpunkt manuell gestartet werden.
5. Tastenbelegung
Die Tasten 10 –12verfügen über eine duale
Funktionsbelegung:
•Durch kurzes Drücken wirddie auf der
Tastenbeschreibung zuerst genannte Funktion
ausgewählt.
•Durch Drücken und Halten der Taste für ca. 3
Sekunden wirddie auf der Tastenbeschreibung
zuletzt genannte Funktion ausgewählt.
Zudem unterscheidet sich die Tastenfunktion im
Wiedergabebildschirm und im Funktionsmenü wie
folgt:

6. Sprache
Bei Erstinbetriebnahme ist als Standardsprache des
Radios Englisch eingestellt. Um die eingestellte
Menüsprache des Radios zu ändern, gehen Sie wie
folgt vor:
•Drücken Sie [ /](11), um in das
Einstellungsmenü zu gelangen.
•Navigieren Sie mit Hilfe der Navigationstasten
(7/9) zum Menüpunkt „System“.
•Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch Drücken von
[OK] (8).
•Navigieren Sie mit Hilfe der Navigationstasten
(7/9) zum Menüpunkt „Language“. Bestätigen Sie
die Auswahl durch Drücken von [OK] (8).
•Wählen Sie mit Hilfe der Navigationstasten (7/9)
Ihregewünschte Systemsprache aus.
•Die aktuell gewählte Spracheinstellung wirdmit *
gekennzeichnet.
7. Wartung und Pflege
•Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem
fusselfreien, leicht feuchten Tuch und verwenden
Sie keine aggressiven Reiniger.
•Sollten Sie das Produkt längereZeit nicht
nutzen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und trennen
es von der Stromversorgung. Lagern Sie es an
einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung.

4. Mise en service et fonctionnement
Remarque
•Vous pouvez utiliser ce produit sur secteur ou
sur batterie. Pour utiliser le produit sur secteur,
vous n’avez qu’à le brancher àune source
de courant (voir chapitre4.2). Pour l’utiliser
sur batterie, vous devez d’abordrecharger
entièrement le produit (voir chapitre4.1)
Remarque
•Utilisez exclusivement les accessoires d‘origine
(ou des accessoires autorisés par Hama) an
d‘éviter tout endommagement du produit.
•Utilisez le produit uniquement àune
températureambiante de -10°C à50°C.
•Entreposez le produit uniquement àune
températureambiante située entre-20 °C et
60 °C.
Consignes d‘utilisation
•Branchez l‘appareil uniquement àune prise de
courant appropriée.
•Débranchez l’appareil si vous ne comptez pas
l’utiliser sur une période prolongée.

4.1 Fonctionnement sur batterie
Avertissement concernant la batterie
•Utilisez exclusivement un chargeur approprié.
•Cessez d‘utiliser tout chargeur ou toute
connexion USB défectueux et ne tentez pas de
réparer ces derniers.
•Évitez un entreposage, une recharge ou une
utilisation àdes températures extrêmes.
•Rechargez régulièrement le produit (au moins
une fois par trimestre) en cas de longue
période d’entreposage.
•Ceproduit dispose d’une batterie rechargeable.
•Veuillez charger entièrement le produit avant la
premièreutilisation.
•Insérez la che microUSB du câble de charge
fourni dans le port microUSB (14) du produit.
•Insérez la che libreducâble de charge microUSB
dans un chargeur USB adapté. Veuillez également
consulter le mode d’emploi du chargeur USB
utilisé.
•L’état de charge actuel apparaît àl’écran pendant
la charge.
Remarque concernant la charge
•Une charge complète dureenviron 3heures.
•Labatterie du produit peut êtrerechargée peu
importe si le produit est sous ou hors tension.
•L’avertissement ”Attention niveau de batterie
faible” apparaît une fois en cas de capacité de
la batterie inférieureà30%.
•Cet avertissement apparaît toutes les minutes
lorsque la capacité de la batterie est inférieure

4.2 Fonctionnement sur secteur /micro USB
Avertissement

(StVZO) sont applicables lors de l‘utilisation
du produit.
•Veuillez contrôler que le produit n‘affecte le
fonctionnement d‘aucun élément de sécurité
tel que airbag, zone de sécurité, élément de

pas la visibilité. Ne laissez pas le produit capter

•Raccordez le câble de charge USB fourni au port
microUSB (14) du produit.
•Raccordez la che libreducâble USB à
l’adaptateur de véhicule fourni.
•Branchez l’adaptateur de véhicule USB àune prise
de courant de 12 Vdevotrevéhicule.
4.3 Connexion de l‘antenne
Raccordez l’antenne souple fournie àl’entrée
d’antenne (13) du produit and’optimiser la
réception.
4.4 Mise sous/hors tension

4.5 Première configuration
Remarque
•Contrôlez la conformité de la connexion de
l’antenne.
•Après la mise sous tension, le produit est en mode
DAB/DAB+ et procède immédiatement àune
recherche de stations.
•Maintenez la touche [ /](10) enfoncée
pendant env.3secondes pour lancer une
recherche manuelle àunmoment ultérieur.
5. Affectation des touches
Les touches 10 –12disposent d’une double
affectation de fonctions :
•Une pression brève permet de sélectionner la
fonction premièrement mentionnée dans la
description des touches.
•Une pression prolongée d’env.3secondes permet
de sélectionner la fonction mentionnée en dernier
lieu dans la description des touches.
Parailleurs, les fonctions des touches de l’écran de
lectureetdumenu Fonctions diffèrent comme suit :

6. Langue
L’anglais est la langue par défaut lors de la première
mise en service. Procédez comme suit pour modier
la langue réglée pour le menu de la radio :

le menu de réglage.
•Sélectionnez le sous-menu “System” àl’aide des
touches de navigation (7/9).
•Conrmez votresélection en appuyant sur [OK] (8).
•Sélectionnez sous-menu “Language” àl’aide
des touches de navigation (7/9). Conrmez votre
sélection en appuyant sur [OK] (8).
•Sélectionnez la langue de système souhaitée à
l’aide des touches de navigation (7/9).
•Lalangue sélectionnée apparaît avec un astérisque
(*).
7. Nettoyage et entretien
•Nettoyez ce produit uniquement àl’aide d’un
chiffon non pelucheux légèrement humide ;évitez
tout détergent agressif.
•Débranchez l‘adaptateurCAdelasource de
courant si vous ne comptez pas utiliser l‘appareil
pendant un certain temps. Entreposez-le dans
un local sec, propreetprotégé des rayons directs
du soleil.

4.1 Funcionamiento con baterías
Aviso –Batería
•Utilice sólo cargadores adecuados parala
recarga.
•Nosiga utilizando cargadores oconexiones
USB defectuosos ynointente repararlos.
•Evite almacenar,cargar yusar las pilas en
condiciones de temperaturaextrema.
•Encaso de almacenamiento prolongado,
cargue regularmente (mín. trimestralmente).
•Elproducto incorporauna batería recargable.
•Antes de utilizar por primeravez el producto,
cárguelo por completo.
•Conecte el cable de carga microUSB suministrado
al puerto microUSB (14) del producto.
•Conecte el conector libredel cable de carga
microUSB auncargador USB adecuado. Para ello,
tenga en cuenta las instrucciones de manejo del
cargador USB utilizado.
•Durante el proceso de carga se indica en la
pantalla el estado de carga actual.
Nota –Proceso de carga
•Unproceso de carga completo duraaprox.

•Labatería del producto puede cargarse
estando éste tanto encendido como apagado.
•Silacapacidad de la batería es inferior
al 30%, aparece una sola vez el mensaje
«Atención: Nivel de batería bajo».

10%, este mensaje aparece cada minuto.
•Solo recibirá esta información en caso de estar
encendido el dispositivo.
•Lavida útil real de la batería varía en función
de la utilización del dispositivo, los ajustes ylas
condiciones ambientales (las baterías tienen una
vida útil limitada).
4.2 Funcionamiento mediante conexión ala
red/microUSB

•Siseutiliza el producto en el tráco rodado,
tienen validez las prescripciones del StVZO
(código de circulación alemán).
•Asegúrese de que ni la vista ni ningún
componente, como los airbags, áreas
de seguridad, elementos de manejo,

•Conecte el cable de carga USB suministrado al
puerto microUSB (14) del dispositivo.
•Conecte el conector enchufable libredel cable USB
al adaptador USB paravehículos suministrado.
•Conecte el adaptador USB paravehículos con una
caja de enchufe de 12V de su vehículo.
4.3 Conexión de antena
Conecte la antena de radio adjunta alaconexión de
antena (13) del producto paraoptimizar la recepción.
4.4 Encendido /apagado
