IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION To reduce the risk of electric shock, use only indoors and in
dry locations. Do not allow the device to be exposed to
moisture, rain, dust, excessive heat or direct sunlight. Do
not cover the Product.
CAUTION This socket outlet must be plugged directly into the power
source and must not be “daisy chained” together in serial
fashion with other power strips, UPS, other surge
protectors or extension cords.
CAUTION No all pole disconnection. Do NOT attach products which
are not for unattended use e. g. cloth iron, motors etc
USER MANUAL
This socket outlet Master Slave type with control electronic and surge filter is
designed for an automatic switch on and switch off of additional equipment's
e. g. Scanner, Printer, HiFi equipment's, etc.
In addition there is a surge protection of TV, HiFi, Video and PC and other
electronic equipment's against atmospheric influence and inductive and
capacitive peaks in the power supply line.
Function
Plug in to the Master socket outlet the leading main equipment. In a PC
system it would be e. g. the PC (min. power of the equipment 8-10W).
Connect to the Slave socket outlets your other equipment's as e. g. printer,
monitor, scanner or equiv. If you switch on your main equipment connected to
the Master socket outlet the slave equipment's will be automatically supplied
with mains voltage and switched on.

With the incorporated switch of the socket outlet you can disable this function.
If you operate the switch it is designed that the Slave socket outlets are
always connected to the mains Remark: If there is somehow a “failure” which
shows this characteristic check the switch.
Please pay attention that HiFi equipment's, video recorder or equiv. which are
feeded in the Slave socket outlet can loose the timer function. This is a
problem of the equipment and not a failure of our product.
Adjustment of the switching limit
On the long side of our product you will find a potentiometer. This you can
adjust in such away that the Slave socket outlets will be switched on and
switched off together with the Master socket outlet. Please pay attention that
here will be adjusted in the same time the lower switch limit. That means if
the Master equipment has a standby circuit which needs approx. 8-10W in
the standby mode (normally only older equipment's, newer are below 5W) it
can happen that the Slave socket outlets switch on and switch off in an
undefined manner. In this case please adjust the switching limit in a higher
value to give a correct operation of “On” and “Off”.
Please pay attention that the Master equipment has a stable power
consumption to prevent undefined switching on and off of the Slave socket
outlets.
Explanation of the product
Protected Indication that the internal surge protection is in function.
Power OK Indication that the Master socket outlet is supplied with
voltage.
Slave ON Indication that the Slave sockets outlets are feeded with
power.
The LED is illuminated as long as the Master equipment is
powered on resp. if the bridging switch gives a permanent
power to the Slave socket outlets.
Adjustment knob Potentiometer to adjust the switching limit for the Slave
sockets.
"Reset" This is an internal circuit breaker with 10 A. This will
operate if the socket outlet will be overloaded. In case of a
tripped circuit breaker disconnect the equipment's, unplug
the socket outlet and wait for approx. 1 min. and push the
circuit breaker back in. Please pay attention for the max.
load which is as following.

Features rear side: 2 slotted screw cross. Here you can fix the socket outlet
via 2 screws with a thread diameter of max. 4 mm. The screws have to be in
a distance of 130 mm.
