UNPACKING
When unpacking the box,do not discard any packing materials until all of the
contents are accountedfor:

b. Carefully lift the Laser Line Level out of the carton and place it on a
stable, flat surface.

DESCRIPTION
KNOW YOUR LASER LINE LEVEL
The Laser Line Level replaces the need for the traditional pencil, carpenter’s
mark, and chalk line.
The Laser Line Level can be hand-held, wall-mounted, or leveled on a horizontal
surface to provide a laser line for the work area.

OPERATION
1. TO INSTALL BATTERIES (Fig. 2)
The battery compartment holds two
“AAA” batteries.
a. Push the latch in the direction
of the arrow to release the
compartment cover.
b. Install the fresh “AAA” batteries in
their correct polarity positions, as
indicated inside the compartment.
c. Replace the battery compartment
cover.
NOTE:
• Always turn off the tool before installing or replacing the batteries.
• Remove the batteries from the tool when not using it for extended periods.
• The 2 AAA batteries should match each other in brand and type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Remove depleted batteries immediately, and dispose of them according to the
laws and regulations governing your community.
2. TO TURN THE LASER LINE LEVEL ON AND OFF
The power switch is located on the top of the tool.
a. Press the laser ON/OFF switch to turn ON the laser line level. The laser line
will be projected from the laser aperture.
b. Press the laser ON/OFF switch again to turn the laser line level off.
CAUTION: When turning on the laser line level, ALWAYS protect your eyes and
the eyes of those around you. NEVER point the laser line level at anyone’s face,
including your own, and never stare at the laser line.

OPERATION
3. DETERMINE LASER ORIENTATION
The horizontal bubble vial and the vertical bubble vial are located on the top of
the tool.
a. To project a horizontal laser line:
turn the laser line level slowly
until the bubble of the horizontal
vial (X) is between the two
reference lines (Fig. 3)
b. To project a vertical laser line: turn
the laser line level until the bubble
of the vertical vial (Y) between the
two reference lines (Fig. 3)
c. To project a laser line at an angle:
turn the laser line level body until
the indicator pointer is at the desired angle, as shown on the 360° rotating
protractor scale
NOTE:
(1) The laser line level can be mounted directly on a metal surface without the
adjustable wall-mount base by making use of the magnet on the bottom of
the laser line level.
(2) In addition, the level can be mounted to smooth surfaces --- BE SURE to test
glue tape on an inconspicuous area on the smooth surface to ensure that the
smooth surface will not be damaged.

4. FOR LASER LINE PROJECTION ON WALLS
There is a mounting pin inserted in each side of the laser line level body: the thin
pins can be pressed into any soft wood or wall-board surface to secure the tool.
Mounting holes on the laser line level
a. Pull the two mounting pins out from their holes in the level.
b. Determine location for laser line on the wall and mark it.
c. Align the mounting pins with the holes on the laser line level body.
d. Press the pins fully into soft wood or wall board.
Mounting holes on the adjustable wall-mount base
a. Pull the two mounting pins out from their storage holes in the adjustable
wall-mount base.
b. Determine location for laser line on the wall and mark it.
c. Align the mounting pins with the holes on the adjustable wall-mount base.
d. Press the pins fully into soft wood or wall board and ensure that the base is
xed securely before attaching the laser line level body onto base.
When not in use, keep the mounting pins stored in their storages holes.
5. FOR LASER LINE PROJECTION ON FLOORS
a. Determine the location.
b. Set the laser line level on the oor.
c. Turn the laser line level ON.
d. Turn the laser line level body until the indicator pointer is at the desired
angle as shown on the 360° rotating protractor scale.
e. Align ooring material with the laser line on the oor surface.

MAINTENANCE
This Laser Line Level has been designed to be a low-maintenance tool. However,
in order to maintain its performance,you must always follow these simple
directions:
a.
Avoid exposing the tool to shock,continuous vibration or extreme hot or
cold temperatures.
b. Always store the tool indoors.
c. Always keep the tool free of dust and liquids.Use only a clean,soft cloth
for cleaning.If necessary,slightly moisten the cloth with pure alcohol or a
little water.
d. Do not disassemble the Laser Line Level; this will expose the user to
hazardous radiationexposure.
e. Do not attempt to change any part of the laser lens.
TROUBLESHOOTING

This Laser Line Level is warranted to the original purchaser from the original
purchase date for two years, plus one additional year with product registration at
www.hammerheadtools.com (2+1), fora total three years subject to the warranty
coverage described herein.
Please retain your receipt.
This Laser Line Level is warranted to the original user to be free from defects in
material and workmanship. If you believe that the tool is defective at any time
during the specied warranty period,call HAMMERHEAD support at 1-877-888-
1880 to speak with a customer service agent. This warranty does not cover: (1)
Part failure due to normal wear or tool abuse (2) Any parts have been altered or
modied by anyone other than authorized HAMMERHEADpersonnel.
This warranty excludes bits,bulbs and accessories.This warranty gives you
specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state.

CONOZCA SU NIVEL DE LÍNEA LÁSER
El nivel de línea láser reemplaza la necesidad de marcar una línea de forma
tradicional con un lápiz, un marcador de carpintero y una tiza.
El nivel de línea láser se puede tomar con la mano, montarse en pared o
nivelarse en un supercie horizontal para proporcionar una línea láser en el área
de trabajo.

20 NIVEL DE LÍNEA LÁSER
FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. PARA INSTALAR LAS BATERÍAS (Fig. 2)
En el compartimiento para baterías se
pueden colocar dos baterías "AAA".
a. Empuje el pestillo en la dirección
que indica la echa para liberar la
cubierta del compartimiento.
b. Instale las baterías "AAA" nuevas
en las posiciones con la polaridad
correcta, como se indica dentro
del compartimiento para baterías.
c. Vuelva a colocar la cubierta del
compartimiento para baterías.
NOTA:
• Siempre apague la herramienta antes de instalar o reemplazar las baterías.
• Retire las baterías de la herramienta cuando no se use durante un período
prolongado.
• Las baterías "AAA" deben ser de la misma marca y tipo.
• No mezcle baterías antiguas con nuevas.
• Retire de inmediato las baterías agotadas y deséchelas según las leyes y
normas aplicables de su comunidad.
2. PARA ENCENDER Y APAGAR EL NIVEL DE LÍNEA LÁSER
El interruptor de alimentación se encuentra en la parte superior de la
herramienta.
a. Presione el interruptor ON/OFF (encendido/apagado) del láser para
encender el nivel de línea láser. La línea láser se proyectará de la abertura
del láser.
b. Presione el interruptor ON/OFF (encendido/apagado) del láser nuevamente
para apagar el nivel de línea láser.
