Assembly
1 Assembli 刷 e frame
口 Turn the frame (B) on its back. Insert an 础 le rod (F)
through the axle bushing on the frame (B) . Repeat for the
second axle rod （问．

3 Assembling the galva 川 Z 创 tee
口 Insert the brass swivel (E E) through the U-bushing （灿） and
screw the end of the swivel into the galvanized tee (F 町．
Using a wrench, tighten the swivel (EE) into the galvanized
tee (FF). Tighten securely but do not overtighten. Over
tightening the swivel could cause leakage.
口 Screw the galvanized tee (FF) assembly onto the spool end
(A) and tighten with a wrench

口 Place a tire (C) over the 础 le with the air valve facing
out. Place the axle washer (II) over the thread, screw on
the axle nut (JJ) and tighten securely. Repeat for each
remaining tire .
口 Set the assembly upright on the tires.
4 Positioning the spool on the frame
口 Position the spool (A) on the frame so that the galvanized
tee assembly (FF) is on the side of the assembly intended
for the U-handle (D) .

5 Atta 州 g the spo 川 d handle
口 On the side of the spool opposite from the tee assem bl y,
slide a plastic spacer washer (BB), spri ng (CC), and another
pl astic spacer washer (BB) over the end of the spoo l (A).
口 Attach the spool (A) to the ca 此 assembly using a U-bushing
（陆.） a nd two 1.75 bolts with nuts (GG) .
口 Th read the crank handle (DD) onto the end of the spool
pipe.
口 Attach 伽 e rubber handle (KK) to the crank handle (DD) using
伽 e handle bolt attached to the h andle (KK). Tighten securely .

口 Tu rn the spoo l around. Attach the second U-bushing （灿） on
t he wa t er s up ply side using the 1.75 in . bolts a nd l ock nuts
(GG) . Make sure t he bushings a 『 e orie n ted over the holes
on the frame . Yo u may h ave to compress the sp 『 ing to get
the spoo l or i ented properly.

Attaching the U-handle
o Slide the U- hand le (D) over the frame extensions and align
the holes. lnse 『 t 1. 57 in. bo l ts (HH) through the handle
holes and attach with w ing nuts .

Maintenance
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
口 To help delay rust, check for any scratches on your hose cart. Apply clear acrylic/weatherproof paint to avoid rusting .
口 Drain water before storing .
口 DO NOT leave water running through the reel while not in use or unsupervised .
o Turn off water after each use .
INFLATING THE TIRES
~
WARNING : DO NOT OVERINFLATE! Over inflation can cause
the tires to explode. A hand pump (bicycle pump) is highly
『 ecommended when inflating the tires. If you use a compressor ,
use with extreme ca 川 ion! These tires are small and pressure
builds quickly.
The maximum pressure for the tires is 15 PSI.
FIXING A LEAKING SWIVEL
It is normal for the swivel to leak slightly until the 0- rings are wet and have seated .If the leaking continues , you do not need to take the
cart back to the store. This is a simple problem and is easily fixed by a simple procedure :
1. If the leader hose is a 忧 ached to the swivel, unscrew the hose and look inside the swivel.
2. Using either a hex key or a la『 ge screw driver, insert the tool into the hex opening and gently tighten the threaded insert to stop the
leaking . DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
3. If the unit still leaks, check that the hose washer is inside the nut. You may contact custome 『 se r vice for a new hose washer or obtain
one at any hardware store.
4. If your swivel is old, the 0-rings may be worn. Contact customer service for a new set of 0-rings.
5. If these steps do not solve your leaking problem , then contact customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON .
