Preface
Thank you for purchasing this machine manufactured by HANGCHA GROUP CO., LTD! You
should master the requirements for use and operation of the machine before working with it!
Any operation of the machine may bring risks. You can only effectively prevent personal
injury, property damage and accidents by mastering the safety rules and operating with due
care and attention. We need to work together for your safety!
The machine is only intended to transport people and tools to the working position and allow
people to operate on the work platform. The safety of people is closely related to operation
and use of the machine. It is essential to train competent and attentive people to use the
machine and operate it safely. Only fully trained and authorized personnel should operate
the machine.
This manual is intended to guide the user/operator in operation and use of the machine.
Before operating and using the machine, the user/operator has a responsibility to read,
understand and follow this manual and the manufacturer's instructions. He/she should read,
understand and follow safety rules and operating instructions, consider the parameters and
intended environment of the machine, as well as strictly observe the requirements for safe
operation.
This manual, together with the Maintenance Manual and the Parts Manual, should be
considered as part of the machine. They should always be kept with the machine! Also, the
keeper of the machine should ensure that all necessary information from the manufacturer
regarding the operation and routine inspection/maintenance of the machine is provided to
anyone who rents it. If the machine is sold, all the information should be provided with it.
The keeper of the machine should also provide the maintenance personnel in charge of the
machine with the maintenance information from the manufacturer.
Some contents in this manual may be different from your machine due to continuous design
updates and product improvements.

Ⅰ. Overview

Original parts must be used to repair our aerial work platform series products.
The warranty is likely to be voided due to the use of poor counterfeits and
parts not approved by the manufacturer.
Original Parts
The use of non-original parts may lead to the following dangerous situations:
-Legally, you will be liable for accidents that occurred due to the use of non-original parts.
-Technically, the use of non-original parts will have a significant impact on the operation and service life of the
machine.
If you use original parts for maintenance and repair,

General:
A-Operation manual
-Read and understand the operation manual carefully.
-The manual must always be placed in an easily accessible place on the machine and should be prepared in the
language applicable to the operator.
-All operation and maintenance not described in the manual must be authorized and approved by the manufacturer.
-Observe the safety rules indicated on the aerial work platform.
-Replace all illegible paper signs and nameplates.
B-Operator certification
-Only trained and certified personnel are allowed to use the aerial work platform. The training must be conducted by
the responsible staff.
-For safety reasons, there must be another operator present on the site during the operation of the aerial work
platform.
-Understand that the machine must be operated on level ground.
-The operator must not authorize another person to operate the aerial work platform.
-Operation must be carried out in accordance with relevant professional standards.
-Do not use the aerial work platform when the wind speed is likely to exceed 45km/h. The booms of the aerial work
platform cannot withstand lateral pressure greater than 45kg.
-Always wear a safety helmet.
-We strongly recommend that you wear a safety belt when using the machine.
-Installing a separate warning light will allow your aerial work platform to be repaired without the need to place
warning signs. For more information on other optional devices, contact your dealer.

C-Maintenance
-The user must immediately notify the dealer if he/she finds that the aerial work platform fails to operate properly or
comply with safety rules.
-The operator must not do any maintenance and commissioning work independently. If he is responsible for this work,
he must move the aerial work platform to a clean and tidy location before working on it.
-Do not short or disconnect any safety devices.
-Carry out routine maintenance every day
-For the safety of you and others, do not change the structure of the aerial working platform and commissioning
values of various parts without permission.

-We recommend that you check the machine on a regular basis and maintain it properly.
-Do not replace the original battery with a lighter one (to ensure the stability of the machine).

Instructions for Driving
A- Control box layout
1. Wear clothes suitable for operating the aerial work platform. Do not wear loose clothes.
2. Do not use wet hands or wear wet or contaminated shoes while operating.
3. Do not stick your feet or any other parts of your body out of the basket while operating.
4. Always wear a safety helmet.
5. We strongly recommend that you wear a safety belt when using the machine.
B-Before starting the aerial work platform
1. If this is a brand new machine, refer to Part 1 Safety Instructions and Rules in the Section "Before Using the Aerial
Work Platform for the First Time".
2. Check whether the tires are in good condition.
3. Check the hydraulic oil level and the battery level before starting the machine.
4. Regardless of previous relevant experience, the user must also become familiar with the locations and uses of all
controllers prior to operation.
5. The aerial work platform must be in the transport condition (with all booms retracted) before entering the basket
for operation.
6. The aerial work platform must be used on a level surface.

Beware of trenches, scaffolding and recently excavated or filled ground.
C-Operating the Aerial Work Platform
Safety rules
1. Do not use the aerial work platform when the battery level is low or the machine moves slowly. In some cases,
such situations (low battery level and slow movement) can be avoided by routine inspection.
2. Do not use a machine that is not in good operating condition or which has not been inspected.
3. Wear clothes suitable for operating the aerial work platform. Do not wear loose clothes.
4. If you operate in a noisy environment, be ready to issue relevant warnings at any time.
5. Look around during the operation, and ensure good vision to see the road clearly.
6. Stop moving forward in the event of an emergency.
7. Slow down and take care on wet and slippery roads.
8. If there is an obstacle, move around it.
9. To cross a sidewalk, be sure to keep the machine in the transport condition.

You need to communicate with the local electric power department.
If you park or work with the AWP near power lines, you may suffer an electric shock or a
severe injury. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you refer to the local regulations and
follow the rules for working near power lines.
Instructions for Operation
-The machine can be operated on the ground: No one else should approach it during operation.
-An aerial work platform should not be used as a crane or a lifter to transport goods and people continuously.
-When operating the AWP for lifting, look around to make sure there are no people or objects causing an obstruction
and avoid incorrect operation.
-When working in the proximity of power lines, refer to current regulations to ensure a safe distance between the
AWP and the power lines.
-Do not operate the aerial work platform if it is overloaded.
-Never work above people.
-Check whether all components of the aerial work platform (square tubes, cables, etc.) are installed correctly.
-Do not place any ladders or other objects inside the platform (basket) to reach a greater height.
-Do not operate the aerial working platform from the ground when there are people inside the platform (basket). The
ground controller is only used for emergency operation (e.g.if the operator in the platform (basket)suffers a
sudden illness) and maintenance.

Dispose of waste consumable parts and spare parts in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner.
If you park or work with the AWP near power lines, you may suffer an electric shock or a
severe injury. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you refer to the local regulations and
follow the rules for working near power lines.

A.General
-Read the manual carefully.
-Clean the aerial work platform and its surroundings before maintenance.
-Wear clothes suitable for maintenance. Do not wear jewelry and loose clothes. If necessary, tie your hair up to
protect it.
-Carry out maintenance immediately even if the problem is minor.
-Repair all leaks, even small ones.
-Do not loosen any joints, hoses or hydraulic parts while the hydraulic circuit is pressurized.
-Remove the controllers before welding.
-Do not remove any metal parts of the battery by yourself.
-The battery case can only be opened by authorized personnel.

Where necessary, protect components, electrical components in particular, from being damaged by
penetration of water, vapor or cleaning products.
B.Maintenance
-Clean all oil stains off the aerial work platform.
-Clean the aerial work platform and the site where it will work before all operations.
-Do not rinse the machine with a high-pressure water gun in the proximity of the electrical components.
-Maintenance of the aerial work platform must comply with the requirements.
-Perform routine maintenance (refer to B - Daily Maintenance or Maintenance After 5 working hours)

Do not use a brand new aerial work platform until you have done the following inspections.
The added lubricant should suit the local weather conditions, -15° to 40°. Before the first use,
add the appropriate lubricant according to the ambient temperature.
Before Using the Aerial Work Platform for the
First Time
Instructions
-Our aerial work platform can provide you with convenient operation and easy maintenance.
-Before using the aerial work platform for the first time, the user must read each section of this manual carefully. It
can help you solve all operation and maintenance problems. Using these instructions will help you to operate the
aerial work platform better.
-The user must understand roles and locations of different function prompts on the controller before operating the
aerial work platform.
Lubricant
-Check whether the lubricant is added as specified (refer to Periodic Maintenance).
Hydraulic system
-Visually inspect gaskets, hoses, square tubes and joints for oil leaks. Where necessary, tighten or check joints for
problems.
-Check the oil level of the tank.
Tires
-Make sure all tire nuts are set in place (refer to Part C Every 50 working hours).
Electrical system
-Check the capacity and specific gravity of the electrolyte in the battery.
-Check the components of the electrical system, such as wiring harnesses and retaining clips.
Contact your dealer where necessary.
