Battery Replacement
(Batteries are included.)

Replace both of the batteries with two new AG-13 (1.5 Volt) type battteries at the same time. Be certain that they
are turned with the positive and negative ends facing in line with the way the unit is marked. Close the battery
cover, replace the screw, and close the snaps.

To SetThe AlarmTime and Alarm
Sound
1. From the regular display mode, press the MODE
button. The alarm time will be displayed.
2. Press the SET button again. The hour number will
start flashing. Press the ADJ button to increase it.
3. Press theSET buttonagain andthen ADJ tochange
the minutes.
4. Press theSET buttonagain andthen ADJ tochange
the Sleep setting.
5. Press the SET button again and then ADJ to select
the alarm sound. This is the sound used for both
the alarm and the timer. When finished, press the
SET button one more time.
6. Press the ADJ button to toggle the alarm and sleep
settings. The alarm and sleep symbols will appear
when these features are enabled.
7. Press the MODE button to return to the clock mode.
8. If the alarm is enabled, when the time comes the
alarm goes off for about one minute. If nothing
happensand the sleepsettingis on, thealarmshuts
off for the amount of time in the Sleep setting, then
goes off for another 2 times, a minute apart. When
the alarm goes off, press any button to reset it.

Hour Modes
Fromthe regulardisplaymode,presstheADJbutton.
To UseTheTimer
1. From the regular display mode, press the TIMER
button. The amount of time the countdown timer
has remaining will be displayed.
2. Press the TIMER button to start or stop the time.
3. To set the time:
Withthe timerstopped, pressthe ADJbuttonto reset
the timer amount, if desired.
Press the SET button. The hour number will start
flashing. Press the ADJ button to increase it. Press
the SET button again to change the minutes and
once again to change the seconds. When finished,
press the SET button one more time.
4. Press the MODE button to return to the clock mode.
ThewordTIMERwill showunder the timeto indicate
that the timer is running. When the timer goes off,
press any button to reset it.

Displays
Fromtheregular displaymode,press the C/Fbutton.
To SetTheTime and Date
1. Press the SET button. The hour number will start
flashing. Press the ADJ button to increase it.
2. Press theSET buttonagain andthen ADJ tochange
the minutes, then again to change the years, then
date, then month. When finished, press the SET
button one more time. The day of the week is
calculated automatically from the internal calendar.
