Assembly Instructions
1Using the pack contents list on previous page, identify the parts required for the assembly of your cricket cage. Read all the
instructions through first to familiarize yourself with the best order of assembly and remember the key points. You will need
a 17mm spanner, a pair of pliers and two high ladders. It is advised that three or more persons assemble the cricket cage.

6With the cage in position, anchor into the ground using U pegs (PEG-
021) provided. Pegs should be located in the centre of each bottom
sidebar. Pegs should be knocked into the ground
at 45 degrees giving best anchorage. The edge of the net with
the ROOF FRONT label
on needs to be positioned
along this front crossbar.
3(You will need for this packs FEP602, FEP606, FEP605 and FEP608). Next
put the handle to one side (the long tube with black end caps and no holes.)
Assemble the side bars and back bar as shown in Fig.2, using 10 x M10 x 70mm
hex bolts (17) and 10 x M10 Nylock nuts (18).
TIP: If assembling CRK-151 with wheels, elevate the bottom frame onto
wooden beams when attaching the wheel brackets (8a & 9a) . This way you
will keep the wheels off the floor .You can safely remove once fully
assembled.
4(You will need for this packs FEP600 and FEP601, and all the galvanised
clamps from the fittings pack FPK218). Although Fig.3 shows the uprights
standing, it is easier to assemble the uprights and crossbars while they are lying on
the ground. Slide 2 top swage clamps (15) onto each crossbar (2.) Now fit an
upright (1) into each end of the crossbar. Slide the clamp over the join so the join is
roughly in the middle, then insert and fully tighten using 2 x M10 x 20mm bolts
(16).
For the end frames, slide 1 end clamp (13) onto each upright at the start of the
bend, and insert and fully tighten the bolts (16). Make sure all the clamps are at the
same height. For the centre frame, fix the centre clamp (12) at the same height,
and the centre support 2-way clamp (14) at about the middle of the upright. This
will be adjusted later.
(NB. For all the top clamps, make sure the bolts are facing downwards. This
will stop the net snagging on them.)
5Lift the upright frames into position in the brackets (or wheel brackets if you
purchased CRK-151) on the bottom bars as shown in Fig.4A, and tighten
them into place with the remaining M10 x 70mm bolts (17) and M10 Nylock nuts
(18).
You will now need packs FEP603, FEP604 and FEP609. Using suitable
stepladders, slide one of each type of top bar (4, 5) into position through the top
clamps. When in place, secure using M10 x 20mm bolts (16). Fit the support
braces (7) diagonally as in Fig.4Aand 4B, securing at each end with M10 x 20mm
bolts (16) and M10 Nylock nuts (18). Adjust the centre support 2-way clamp (14)
as necessary (see Fig.4B.) Fit nut covers (19) onto the lower nuts for safety.
When moving the cage at any time, slide the handle into place through the
welded-on clamps on the front of the cage, and bolt into place with M10 x 20mm
bolts (16).
When fitting the net included with CRK-150 & CRK-151 only, first look for the
ROOF FRONT label. Open up the net, then using several people and stepladders,
drag the net up and over the cage, ensuring the ROOF FRONT edge sits along
the front crossbar. Using the ties provided, fix the net in position, making
sure the net is elevated around the wheels at the back to prevent snagging
when the cage is moved. If attaching the net onto CRK-151cut around the
centre wheel brackets and secure to the cage using ties provided. Tie one side
of the net down first, to make it easier to pull the rest over the cage. See Fig 4 for
the number of ties per bar.
