1: Support Posts - Dig holes 600x600 square x 600mm
deep at the centres of 3710mm as shown in the
diagram to the left. Position the Support Posts
FEQ863 360mm centrally back from the front of the
(court side) of the fence/kick board. Concrete the
Supports in 500mm deep leaving approx 150mm from
the top of the concrete to ground level (for turf) use a
spirit level to make sure that the Supports are truly
vertical. Replace the turf extracted when the concrete
has cured.
(Allow the concrete to set before assembling the rest
of the goal)
2: Unpack all the parts and lay out on the ground

Cut a hole in the fence and assemble Arms to the
Support Posts - directly in front for each Support
measure up from the ground level 152mm and
2017mm to square centre and cut a square hole 110mm
wide x 110mm high in the fence (or kick board). Fix the
support arms (FEP106) at the bottom using
SEP497,BOL710, BOL202 into position. Do the same at
the top but using

4: now remove the channel from the
side boards, as you will need to
attach it to FEP164. Unscrew using
the 4mm allen keys supplied with
the bolt pack.

5: Connect FEP164 to the channel that was
removed from the hockey side boards with
FEP160 and bolt together using the bolts as listed
to the right.
make sure that the label is on same side as
the channel once bolted onto the upright.

6: Slide the Bottom Internal Adjuster Arm FEP105
OR FEP171 OR FEP165 into the Bottom Outer
Adjuster Arm FEP160 OR FEP173 OR FEP168 OR
FEP169.
Then bolt into place using BOL702 & BOL331.
7: Now bolt the hockey side board onto the upright, by sliding the board back into the channel
making sure that the carpet is facing the same way as the slot on FEP160, FEP173, or
FEP168/169 and then bolt it up using the bolts that you removed in step 4. Then tighten up
using the allen keys supplied.

8: Place either FEP064, FEP065 or FEP166/167 into
the top of the upright FEP164 as shown on the right.
Then bolt into place using the bolts as shown on the
right.
That the capped end faces the same way as the
side board, and the slot faces the same way as the side
board carpet.
Note:
9: Once everything has been bolted together, slide either FEP316 or FEP320 into FEP064 or
FEP065 then bolt up using BOL702, BOL757 and BOL331.

10: With the aid of a second
person lift the side frame up and
place into the connecting arms
And bolt together using

12: Connect the crossbar (FEP082) & upright (FEP170) together. Slide BOL204 into
the channel as shown below. Then place PEQ093 or PEQ094 into the channel depending
on which hand you are doing as shown, then bolt together using BOL334 and BOL331
(note BOL331 needs only to be loosely tightened).
Do the same for both sides of the crossbar.

13 Using a spirit level, level the
goal up on the centre post, then
raise the crossbar and upright
up and insert the appropriate
bolt s into place.
If one of the front hinges does
not go in release the back hinge
arm and gently tap up or down
to allow front hinge to align.
Note: before aligning the
frame up move the side
frames to the require
position.
STEP LADDERS ARE REQUIRED FOR
THIS PART OF THE JOB.
(SPIRIT LEVEL ON THIS POST)
14: Next attach the back board (2 people required) place a BOL710 washer onto the swivel
hinge plate on each side. Gently place the backboard in between the two swivel plate, then
place the second BOL710 washer in between the top hinge plate and the hinge tube. Slide the
hinge bolt ASY110 with BOL710. Now tighten up using BOL710 & BOL102 (note do not over
tighten as the hinge has to move. Repeat this for both sides.

15: Now move the goal to the left and to
the right in the closed position to make
sure you are happy with the setup.
If not make minor adjustments until
happy.

17: Thread the head line rope through the top eyelet at the top of the
centre hinge upright FEP164 and then thread it through the clamcleat
as shown to the left.
Thread the head line rope through ASY130 (plastic hand grip) and tie a
knot in the end.

18: Thread the bottom of the net in and out of the net retaining bars as shown above, then attach
the net bar to the back/side board using the bolt shown. Once you have connected the net bars
tighten the roof of the net by using the handle shown to the left of section 17.
tt is very important to remember to release the net as shown on the label attach to the
upright before folding.
Note:
16: Once you have un-rolled the net, find
the label with crossbar on it. Find the
centre of the net and attach it to the
crossbar using the net clips found in
FPK362. Find either the top left/right
hand corner. Thread the net through the
p-clip (CLP050), and using the bolt
BOL331 you can attach it to the bracket
as shown on the left. Then using the net
clips from FPK362 clip the net up every
five to six mesh squares, on the
crossbar and uprights.

Before Fitting the Net - Make sure two or more people stretch the Net out into
shape as much as possible. Due to the stiffness of the material, it may seem to
be too tight. By stretching the Net into it’s Box shape will allow easier assembly.
