Medium Format Photography is about Quality. Camera
System Design and Production have to be carefully crafted.
The Usability needs to be simple and still detailed to assure
Quality. The Captures have to be accurate in terms of
Exposure, Focus, Color Quality and Reliability.
Hasselblad knows this and strives to deliver it to you.
The Hasselblad X1D is a completely new Medium Format
Camera with the Professional Quality inherited from the H6D
that has been redeveloped from the ground up.
In this way all the previous workexperience based and branch-
demanding features are automatically included. So, just when
you think things can't get much better, they do. And the X1D is
that model - all the good things from our past and ready for the
future!
The X1D provides a reliable connection to the eeting
environment of digital imaging technology so when the wind
changes direction, the X1D remains as the safeguarding
companion to provide support.
True to Hasselblad philosophy, interchangeability and versatility
span our product range regarding lenses and accessories with
minimal restrictions. This applies not only to X1D but all H1,
H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6 models as well. The all new XCD lens
system additionally breaks rank regarding series limitations with
the ability to use other lenses from the H system. In short, you
have access to a more comprehensive world to apply medium
format quality to.
Hasselblad's best kept secret is knowing that every link in the
chain that leads to the page in the magazine has to reach a
certain standard; it is that simple.
That's why Hasselblad spends so much time and energy into

1.2 UPDATE X1D CAMERA FIRMWARE
The X1D Camera System can be updated with
improvements and new functions. Before you start to use
your new X1D Camera, please visit www.hasselblad.com
and download the latest X1D Camera Firmware and Update
the Camera System to make sure you get the latest
functionality.
See chapter 4.15 in this User Guide for an indepth
description on how to Download the X1D Camera Firmware
and Update it on your X1D Camera.

The JPEG les are HNC proled so you can print straight
from a folder for amazing quality. RAW les are retained of
course for your nal masterpieces.
Digital Lens Correction
The Digital Lens Correction is applied at the le editing
stage, takes a discerning look at any colour aberration,
distortion and light fall off however minor (which is
inherent in any lens, anywhere) and resolves the situation
automatically.
Hassselblad Phocus Digital Imaging Software
The Hassselblad Phocus Digital Imaging Software is the
Capture Processing and File Management application
aimed primarily at Hasselblad 3F le handling.
Phocus Mobile offers remote viewing and control when
shooting tethered.
Phocus mobile is free to download at the APPLE App Store
for both iPhone and iPad.
