IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the
voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage in
your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and stop using
the appliance.
3. Please use a power supply with grounding protection to ensure
personal safety.
4. The product should be placed on a stable platform and operated at
a place out of the reach of children.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a
person responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
7. Do not use this appliance on or near the surface of heat-labile
objects such as carpets and plastics. Objects that are easily
damaged by steam should not be placed above this appliance.
8. Do not overexert when press the “Power switch” to prevent it from
being damaged.
9. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
10. If the product has been operated without water, please add water to
the product or unplug the power plug. Do not touch the heating plate
with your naked hand to prevent burns.
11. A large amount of steam will be sprayed from the steam hole when
the product is being operated, so please be careful to avoid burning
by steam.
12. Never cook the foods which are particularly viscous with this
appliance.
13. The appliance has overheating protection function. If you need to
continuously cook food, you must let the machine cool properly
before cooking the food for the second time. Press the “Power
switch” again after the thermostat is reset.
14. Do not immerse the body into the water or other liquids during
cleaning. Do not allow liquid to flow into the body to avoid danger.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
16. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to
cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the
appliance.
17. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to an authorized service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.
18. The use of accessory not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
19. Do not use outdoors.
20. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surface.
21. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
22. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
23. Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other
abrasive material.
24. To disconnect, turn any control to “Off”, remove plug from wall
outlet. Always hold the plug. But never pull the cord.
25. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.

KNOW YOUR MULTICOOK KETTLE
BEFORE USING YOUR MULTICOOK KETTLE
1. Please check and make sure all the accessories are intact.
2. Before using the appliance, please clean the stainless steel inner
cavity and steamer with a cotton cloth, especially the part of edge,
by which the residual dirt on the stainless steel products can be
removed, then fill the kettle with water and run for about 20 minutes
to perform disinfecting. Until now, the kettle is ready for use.
DESCRIPTION FOR THE PRODUCT OPERATION
1. Power switch
1.1 Press the “Power switch” to “I” setting, the heating power is
about 325 W, the indicator lights up and the machine starts to
run.
1.2 Press the “Power switch” to “II” setting, the heating power is
650 W, the indicator lights up and the machine starts to run.
1.3 Press the “Power switch” to “O” setting, the machine turns
off and does not work.
2. The appliance will turn off automatically and the indicator will
extinguish when the appliance is lack of water or operated without
water.
3. Boil-dry protection. There is an overheating protection device
equipped at the bottom. The appliance may turn off automatically if
it is operated without water or the bottom of the appliance is burnt,
so please stir the food in time when cooking the foods which are
more viscous.
4. Turn the “Power switch” to “O” setting and unplug when the
appliance is not used.
OPERATION INSTRUCTION
NOTE: When the appliance is working, please do not touch the glass lid
with your hands to avoid burns, and do not touch the position near the
steam outlet to avoid burns.
NOTE: There shall be no water enter into the base and power interface
when operating and cleaning the appliance! Suggest opening or
removing the lid to create a gap to prevent the water from overflowing to
the power interface to cause a trip.
I. BOIL WATER (OR MILK)
1. Remove the glass lid, clean the glass lid and stainless steel pot, fill
the pot with water not exceeding the maximum water level, then
close the glass lid.
2. Plug the end of the power cord into the socket of kettle and plug the
triangle plug into the power socket, then press the “Power switch”
to the “I” or “II” setting, the indicator lights up and the machine
starts working. After some time water will start boiling.
3. When the water is boiled, turn off the “Power switch” and unplug the
appliance.
II. COOK INSTANT NOODLES AND SIMILAR PRODUCTS
1. Remove the glass lid and fill the pot with water according to the
quantity of noodle but not exceeding the maximum water level, then
close the glass lid.
2. Plug the end of the power cord into the socket of kettle and plug the
triangle plug into the power socket, then press the “Power switch”
to the “II” setting, the indicator lights up and the machine starts
working.
3. In few minutes, the water in the pot starts to boil, then put noodles &
spices into the kettle, after food gets softer then stir the food evenly
with tablespoon. To prevent the bottom from being burnt, turn the
“Power switch” to the “I” setting and make the appliance continue
working until the food in the pot is cooked well. You can make switch
between “I” and “II” setting according to the actual condition.
III. TEA
1. Remove the glass lid and fill the pot with mixture of milk & water not
exceeding the maximum water level, then close the glass lid.
2. Plug the end of the power cord into the socket of kettle and plug the
triangle plug into the power socket, then press the “Power switch”
to the “II” setting, the indicator lights up and the machine starts
working.
3. In few minutes, the water in the pot starts to boil, then put the Tea &
sugar into the pot, then stir the tea with tablespoon. To prevent the
bottom from being burnt, turn the “Power switch” to the “I” setting
and make the appliance continue working until the Tea in the pot
is cooked well. You can make switch between “I” and “II” setting
according to the actual condition.
IV. STEAM MOMOS (DUMPLINGS), DHOKLA, IDLI ETC.
1. Fill the kettle with appropriate amount of water, the water level is 1
cm-2 cm away from the pot bottom, then put the steamer onto the
pot. Put the food in the steaming bowl or other utensils, then close
the lid.
2. Plug the end of the power cord into the socket of kettle and plug the
triangle plug into the power socket, then press the “Power switch”
to the “II” setting, the indicator lights up and the machine starts
working.
3. Wait for time until food is well cooked (steamed) based on recipe,
turn off the “Power switch” and unplug the appliance.
V. BOIL EGG
1. Remove the glass lid, clean the glass lid and stainless steel pot, fill
the pot with water according to the qty. of egg but not exceeding the
maximum water level, also add eggs then close the glass lid.
2. Plug the end of the power cord into the socket of kettle and plug the
triangle plug into the power socket, then press the “Power switch”
to the “I” or “II” setting, the indicator lights up and the machine
starts working.
3. After few minutes switch the appliance to “II” setting. When the Egg
is boiled well, turn off the “Power switch” and unplug the appliance.
VI. INSTANT OATMEAL AND SOUP
1. Remove the glass lid and fill the pot with water according to the Qty.
of food but not exceeding the maximum water level, then put the
foods into the inner pot and close the glass lid.
2. Plug the end of the power cord into the socket of kettle and plug the
triangle plug into the power socket, then press the “Power switch”
to the “II” setting, the indicator lights up and the machine starts
working.
3. When the food in the pot is boiled, turn the “Power switch” to the “I”
setting to prevent the pot bottom from being burnt.
4. After few minutes when food is cooked well, turn off the “Power
switch” and unplug the appliance.
VII. RICE
1. Remove the glass lid, clean the glass lid and stainless steel pot,
fill the pot appropriate mixer of rice & water not exceeding the
maximum water level, then close the glass lid.
2. Plug the end of the power cord into the socket of kettle and plug the
triangle plug into the power socket, then press the “Power switch”
to the “II” setting, the indicator lights up and the machine starts
working.
3. When the food in the pot is boiled, turn the “Power switch” to the “I”
setting to prevent the pot bottom from being burnt.
4. After few minutes when the rice is cooked well, turn off the “Power
switch” and unplug the appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and allow it
cooling down completely before cleaning.
1. The inner pot, glass lid and steamer can be cleaned with a sponged
dipped with detergent. Do not use hard steel cleaning tool to prevent
the surface being damaged.
2. Wipe the body with a wet towel if the body is dirty. Never immerse
the body into the water to avoid electric shock.
3. When the product is not used for a long time, please clean it well and
put it in the packing box, then store it at a dry place with good draft.
4. The bottom of the appliance may appear whitening phenomenon
when the appliance is operating, this is normal, and it will not
affect the operation and will not do harm to the human body. That
is because the heating tube directly heats up the stainless steel
surface, and slight oxidation may happen when the stainless steel
surface contacts with the water, besides, the water quality varies
in different areas, so there will be yellowish impurities deposit
produced when heating. Follow the operation as below to remove
the scale: add white vinegar and water (ratio: 1:2 ) into the pot and
run the appliance until the solution is boiled, then leave it aside for
about 1 hour, after it, empty the solution and clean the pot with clean
water twice.
5. Do not put product accessories in the dishwasher for cleaning.

working electrical equipments to an appropriate waste disposal centre.

date of purchase against manufacturing defect’(s) due to defective
materials or workmanship. If the product become defective within the
warranty period, Havells will repair, free of charge.

abuse, negligence or non observation of local regulations on part of
the user. The warranty provisions do not apply where the appliance
has been serviced by a person not authorised by Havells or serviced
with non-approved parts thereby causing further fault/damage to the
product.
ENSURE FOR WARRANTY
• Retain the warranty card duly lled in and stamped by authorised
dealer along with original invoice/cash memo.
• The warranty applies only if the product  is used for personal/
domestic purpose.
