Description
The HLXHUBCASE is a replacement enclosure for the VS Omni Hub. Before attempting to replace the
enclosure, completely disconnect power to the VS Omni.
Installation
Replace VS Omni Hub Enclosure
Disconnect power to the VS Omni and follow the steps below:
1. Remove the 4 cover screws and remove the Hub cover.
2. Remove all wiring connections to the printed circuit board (PCB). All possible connections are
shown below. Remove knockout fittings and pull all wiring through their knockouts including
the low voltage wiring channel.

3. With all wiring removed, remove the 4 screws securing the PCB board to the Hub enclosure as
shown below. Remove the PCB.
4. Unfasten the VS Omni Hub enclosure from the mounting surface and remove.
5. Secure the new HLXHUBCASE to the mounting surface in the same location as the old enclo-
sure using the original fasteners.
6. Re-install the PCB.
7. Route all wiring through appropriate knockouts and low voltage wiring channel. Connect all
wiring to the PCB then replace the cover.
8. Apply power to the VS Omni Hub and make sure that all equipment is working properly.
Remove the 4 screws and lift
the PCB out of the enclo-
sure.
