Operating Instructions (refer to diagram on page 2):
▪Connect the microphone to the control panel and switch on the power supply. Move the
switch (8) on the back of the microphone to ‘ON’. Note that for normal use this switch
must stay in the ‘ON’ position
Public address [PA]:
▪Press and hold the PTT switch (1) and speak into the microphone
▪High-gain handheld microphone
▪Digital speech record/playback
▪Volume control
▪Connects to 8-82208/10 control
panels

Speech Record & Playback Function:
▪Record new message by first sliding the switch (8) to the record position ‘∞’. Then press
and hold the PTT (1) and the record (4) button together, and speak into the microphone –
maximum record time is 20 seconds
▪The operation LED will illuminate when in record ‘∞’ mode
▪Playback the recorded message by pressing and releasing the play button (5)
▪The recorded message will play continuously until the record on/off switch (8) is returned
to the ‘ON’ position
▪To operate PA during recorded playback, slide the switch (8) to the ‘ON’ position and
operate the PA as normal
